Fantastic experience: Have been meaning to put up this reviewing since last year but life keeps getting in the way. All I can honestly say is WOW! My husband and I were on holidays July-August 2024 in Port Douglas. On our 2nd day he got a toothache which turned into an abscess. There were no dentists available in Port Douglas, not even for an emergency! I then tried my luck in Cairns. I called so many clinics and kept getting knocked back. As soon as I called Cairns Dental Boutique they understood the urgency. They shuffled other patients appointments around (thank you to those patients) so we could be seen. It cost us $250 by taxi one way from Port Douglas! The staff were absolutely so kind, thoughtful and caring. I wasn’t even the patient and they made sure I was ok. My husband states that the dentist he saw - Dr Puneet Roy Jindal was so gentle and explained everything- before, during and after. There was a gentleman, on hearing the cost of our taxi ride, offered to drive us back to Port Douglas. I had said yes. He had left the clinic to go to the shop but our appointment finished before he returned. He gave us his name and phone number however it smudged on the card he wrote it on, so I wasn’t able to call him. The taxi service we used contacted us, to drive us back to our hotel in Port Douglas, yes another $250. The taxi driver was kind enough and drove us to the chemist. The dental receptionist called and asked us if we needed a ride back as the gentleman had come back to pick us up! We were already in the taxi. We are so sorry to that man (I forgot his name) as he was kind to do that for us but we didn’t realise that the taxi was waiting for us. Anyway, this is a lovely dentist and the cost was cheaper than the taxi ride. They even called a few times to check how he was feeling. My husband was/is so grateful to them that we would fly back up to cairns to get more dental work done from Cairns Dental Boutique. Thank you everyone!! P.S. My husband’s birthday just passed and they even sent him a text message, yes we know it would be sent to everyone, but it’s those little things.

Negative experience: Disgusting service! I travelled an 8 hour round trip with my son as he had insecurities and wanted his teeth whitened. We travelled this far as we are remote. Only for them to turn around and say we couldnt do it today due to them running 45 mins late.

From Amanda and the rest of the fantastic, friendly team on reception, to the kind and experienced assistants, to Dr Trini herself, who is the best dentist I've ever had. She always made me feel welcome and at home, is ultra professional and a gifted dentist. The job she did is absolutely next level, it has made such a huge difference to me and I've had so many compliments. I actually looked forward to and really enjoyed my visits! I never knew going to the dentist could be fun, but these folks made it so! Fantastic experience: I’m a traveler, so I didn’t know where should I go to dentists treatment, I came after other doctor said that I should extract my tooth. I had A terrible pain, and this clinic gave me a quick appointment to lovely Dr. Caysi that was so professional and sensitive, recognised well that I can do the Root canal. Next time I did the root canal with lovely Dr. Roy, he was professional, kind, sensitive and I felt very safe. Thank you so much. Dr. Roy and his team were incredibly prompt, fitting me in immediately and making sure I was taken care of right away. Negative experience: I trusted the reviews and brought my kid to this dentist to fix her cavity. But first, Doctor couldn’t spot it even though I pointed and told him where exactly it was. So we had to go back there a couple of months later when the cavity started to get bigger. He finally put the fillings in it. It took so long. But it fell out only 2 weeks after. And we went back again and the doctor kept saying that my kid needed to see the specialist and she would need to be put to sleep to get another treatment. I didn’t feel right with what he said and decided to take my kid to the different dentist. They fixed the fillings straight away and it hasn’t fallen off since then. It didn’t take long either.

Negative experience: Review updated.. my experience was terrible. I had root canal treatment in 1st upper tooth and they did such a bad job. I had pain and complications after for 2 years, I went back multiple times and they were making seem like this is normal and I’m being over sensitive. The 3rd time dr Roy decided to file off my tooth so my tooth now is TRANSPARENT without letting me know what he’s about to do!! I have to live with a transparent front tooth until end of my life and all they offered me was 800$ refund (obviously I have spend much more money!!) and I went to another dentist and spend much less money, had super complicated root canal under microscope procedure which went well. I’ve been without pain since then. However my transparent tooth really bothers me cause is so visible and there is nothing I can do other than porcelain veneers to fix this. This obviously costs a lot of money. I never got any apology or offer from them to fix this. Im writing this review hoping something will be done in the matter of my transparent tooth.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to the practice to get a chipped front filling restored and, after a dreadful experience with another dental practice, I was apprehensive (to say the least). The atmosphere when I walked in the reception area was so calm and welcoming and Dr Ellie was so understanding, kind and gentle that I knew immediately I was in the safest of hands. Dr Ellie and her nurse were amazing and before I knew it I was feeling relaxed and had the best treatment experience ever and my . smile now looks amazing . I can not recommend this practice and Dr Ellie and her dental nurse highly enough.

Fantastic experience: This week I had Two extractions with an immediate partial fitted. Dr. Ellie and Courney are simply "angels on earth". I (like most people) had severe anxiety and some emotional issues surrounding my need for this to occur and these ladies were Kind, Compassionate, Understanding and extremely personable. I presented at the clinic for my appointment thinking I would have to return at a later date after my review to follow up with the actual treatment. Dr Roy completed the treatment in the original appoint time in such a gentle and caring manner, as he could see my pain. You and your team are a wonderful and I truly thank you for the service you provide to all of your patients.

Negative experience: To be honest I was less than impressed when I saw Dr Roy . I was charged $275 for a clean which did not for some reason include a polish or fluoride treatment. At the end of the consult he then took xrays without needing too or asking, and that alone was $75. I would consider shopping around before using this clinic. The reception staff however were 5 stars

Fantastic experience: Had an exceptional experience at this practice. The staff were incredibly professional dealing with an appointment that was running late. They kept me informed of the delay, gave me a reason for the delay, gave me the option to wait or reschedule AND then offered me a voucher for a coffee at the downstairs coffee shop. Very rare to get this level of customer service. Not surprisingly the dentist and dental nurse were equally professional!!! I’d give more stars if I could.

Fantastic experience: My 5 yr old son & I visited Cairns Dental Boutique for the first time on Tuesday. We were only there for a little check up for my son but from the minute we entered we felt so welcomed. The beautiful receptionist greeted us warmly & even organised colouring in for my son which he was so excited about. Dr Ellie & her assistant Paris were so friendly, kind, professional, knowledgeable & so much fun.
