Fantastic experience: I was recommended Dr Liban by my Mum after having a very scary and negative experience with a different dentist in my home town in regional NSW. Needing two emergency extractions, I called Dentists of Ivanhoe and Amelia immediately made me feel at ease and supported. She went above and beyond booking me in for an appointment - she arranged an immediate consult over the phone and a booking within two days. I then saw Dr Liban who was calm, knowledgeable and reassured me throughout the process. I felt heard, I experienced no pain and had a really positive experience. I cannot recommend this dentist enough. Thank you Amelia and Dr Liban for your support and help during a time when I felt very anxious and scared. I now feel positive about future dental work and my husband and I have already booked in for appointments next month.

Fantastic experience: Today I needed an urgent appointment and the staff at Reception are kind and empathetic. A nice bright and new office. I originally met Dr Claire who provided me with professional care as did her Dental assistant. Amazing staff. Dr Sarah today was very caring, professional. Dr Sarah's skill and knowledge is very high. The Dental technician/assistant who did a wonderful job looking after me and Dental support to the Dentist, very grateful for her care in making sure I was comfortable and safe. Definitely a professional Dental Clinic, I feel comfortable that issues will be solved accordingly to the best outcome possible.

Fantastic experience: I am so so grateful for Dr Irena and the beautiful friendly staff at Dentists of Ivanhoe ❤️ I am really scared and anxious of going to the dentist and this was my first visit to this clinic. Dr Irena was so understanding and even handed me a tissue when I had a few tears. She walked me through everything she was doing and kept me calm during the whole process of a filling. Even booking the initial appointment was a great experience! Terry was so friendly over the phone and helped me with getting my files transferred over from my old dentist. This is 100% going to be my long-term dentist and dental clinic from now on, thankyou so much again to the team there ❤️

Fantastic experience: I don’t typically write reviews, but I feel like I need to share my experience with Dr. Shehan Warusevitane at Dentist of Ivanhoe. My partner had an incredible experience here five years ago, receiving a complete smile makeover with Invisalign, and her results were absolutely amazing. Fast forward to me – after years of being embarrassed about my teeth, I decided it was time for a bit of makeover too. I had my teeth whitened and composite veneers to the top 8. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Dr. Warusevitane was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly caring, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions. His expertise and professionalism really shone through, and I could tell he genuinely cared about achieving the best possible result for me. I won’t lie and mention that I did get second opinions from two well-known cosmetic dentists in Melbourne, but I can honestly say that the level of service and care at Dr. Warusevitane’s practice far surpassed anything I experienced elsewhere. The entire team is so friendly and passionate about their work – you can really feel the positive culture when you walk in. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Dentist Irina and her team enough! She always makes me feel completely at ease, which is such a big deal for me when visiting the dentist. Irina is incredibly skilled she did immaculate work on my fillings, making them look so natural you’d never know I had any work done. I had a crack and staining on my front teeth, and now you’d never even guess it was there. I feel so much more confident smiling now! She also gives really practical advice and helps me maintain my dental health without ever making me feel self-conscious. What really stands out is how focused the whole team is on giving you the best results and experience. Irina works seamlessly with Bella, her nursing assistant, who reads exactly what’s needed and creates such a calm, comfortable environment. If you get the chance, I highly recommend asking for Irina and Bella,you’ll feel completely cared for, and the results speak for themselves.

Fantastic experience: Explains procedures well and with patience. Listens and actively helps with any issues that create anxiety. Able to adjust session to help overcome patient concerns or difficulties. Overall my best experience at the dentist in nearly 10 years.

Fantastic experience: I am writing this review on behalf of my mum who has been suffering a lot with her teeth the last couple of years and has needed to have a few extractions done. She praises the careful, diligent and skilful work of Dr Irena in extracting a very painful, infected front tooth recently. She was really pleased with her confidence, dexterity and precision in extracting the tooth intact to avoid further complications, which she was really worried about. Dr Irena’s bedside manner was also impeccable. As mum was quite nervous, she was reassured by Dr Irena that it was unlikely for anything to go wrong but in that case, she was confident to handle any eventuality. She will happily return for any future dental work. Thank you Dr Irena and keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: Recently had some significant dental work at Dentists of Ivanhoe So happy with the results . A great practice in sparkling new premises . Dr Shehan is a brilliant dentist as he combines expert professional skills with warm interpersonal skills .The latter always a bonus at the dentist ! So recommend the dental hygienist Manisha who has a similar blend of talents . Dental nurses and front office receptionists are efficient and friendly. Fantastic experience: The most honest and trustworthy dentist. I’ve been told twice by other dentists I need work done, only to go to DOI and be told I actually don’t need anything done at all. They do not over-intervene. I find them to be very honest. Also Manisha is absolutely lovely and is always very thorough and gentle with myself and my young child. Perfect place to go for a young child’s first dentist experience.

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer at Dentists of Ivanhoe for 20 years and I highly recommend their services. Today I saw Dr Shehan Warusevitanewho was, as usual, very knowledgable and solved my tooth and pain issue quickly and painlessly. He is a very experienced dentist whose guidance has been of great help. Last year I required a new crown that was extremely difficult to colour match with the surrounding teeth however Dr Irena Koneski thankfully refused to give up and worked very hard to obtain a perfect colour match. I thoughly recommend Dentists of Ivanhoe.

Very pleased with the end result, and the entire process was made very easy by the professional and personable care I received from the whole team, including the nurses (too numerous to mention). Fantastic experience: Manisha, attended to my Teeth cleaning at my recent visit at The Dentists of Ivanhoe, I found her to be very pleasant, professional and made me feel very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: We had the best experience for my little one's first trip to the dentist! Manisha was so good with him and made it such a fun experience. She was informative and thorough but most importantly so lovely. He particularly loved the little toys! Thank you Manisha! He can't wait for his next visit.

Negative experience: I can't express how shocked and disappointed I am! My partner had a clean at around 2pm. Then saw the dentist, he was asked to make another appointment because the bleeding was so bad, and just sent home and told to rinse with salt! At 6:30 we ended up going to a chemist to buy blood clotting strips, as he was still bleeding and having to rinse his mouth every 10min or so because there was so much blood! At 8:30 I called the 1300 nurse who was very helpful and gave us some extra advice. She also directed us to the Victorian Virtual Emergency Department where we spoke to a lovely Dr who redirected us to the Emergency Ward! It's now 3:30am he is still bleeding and the Dr at emergency is working on stopping the bleeding! It looks like we will be here till the morning. VERY unhappy and can't understand how a simple clean with, as he was told, 'health gums' had ended in the Emregency Ward! This has NEVER happened before!

Fantastic experience: First time visiting Dentists of Ivanhoe. Staff at reception were warm, patient and helpful with booking the appointment. Dr Irena was my consulting dentist. Absolutely lovely to talk to. Has a fun and friendly manner to her. Very thorough. Took time to explain and answers my questions. Didn't rush me. I don't like it when doctors make you feel rushed and you feel like you can't ask all your questions. This wasn't the case at all. Highly recommend her. Daniel was my hygienist. Again, equally pleasant, thorough, patient. I had a lot of questions which he took time to address. Reception also called after a few days to check in how I was going after the treatment. Highly recommend the clinic and the doctors.

I recently broke a tooth and she even came into work on her day off in order to help with my dental work. Terry is one of the Reception staff and he particularly is so welcoming and efficient. Fantastic experience: I have had Invisalign done and whitening and very happy with my results from Shehan, he is friendly and gentle, I was always scared of dentists before this, he explains things well. Also really happy with my cleans from Nermine, Lulit and Manisha, I always come out with a fresh feel, they are all very friendly and gentle and help me improve my dental health. Would highly recommend. The new location is very modern and easy to find parking around. Really enjoyed the TV on the ceiling to take my mind off being in the chair.

Fantastic experience: At Dentists of Ivanhoe I feel that all the staff treat me as a person and not just a set of teeth. I love that everyone has either a uniform t shirt with their name embroidered or a name badge. Their new rooms are pleasant with a generous waiting area. A nice touch is a TV screen on the ceiling to watch during a procedure but it would be better if the program didn't repeat every 10 minutes. Reasonable prices and no indication of overservicing. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Having not seen a dentist in a few years I was naturally apprehensive upon my next dental visit but Dr Irena instantly made me feel at ease. She explained the condition of my teeth and gums in a very understandable way along with the procedures that she was going to perform. The dental practice as writing had just moved into new location so the equipment and facilities are brand new. Overall the experience was the best I have had and no longer view visits to the dentist with dread.

Fantastic experience: I originally went to Dentists of Ivanhoe because of all the excellent reviews online saying how good it was. I am pleased to say they were all correct. I’ve been going here for about a year now and I can’t speak highly enough about the entire team. Terry and Maddie on reception are very caring and welcoming to every patient. Dr Shehan is an outstanding dentist with a very high standard of care and eye for detail. He takes the time to explain everything, answer any questions and make sure you are comfortable with everything. Plus he is always cheerful and smiling which makes everything more relaxed. Dr Portbury is also fantastic as is Lulit the hygienist. Fantastic service all round.

Negative experience: I recently received two fillings and was charged $930. This was a follow up appointment by the way. I was not given an indication of the price beforehand and certainly wasn’t expecting it to be that expensive. I called to check if this price was correct. The lady had a quick scan and she said it was. This is partially my fault for not asking for the price in advance of the appointment, although none of my fillings in the past have been anywhere near this amount They did a great job on my teeth but I left disappointed that I was charged this much for 2 fillings. I’m on unpaid maternity leave and had declined extra work they offered me (retainer and Botox) due to my financial situation. Be careful to anyone before agreeing to have work done.

Fantastic experience: I have some major issues when going to the dentist, my anxiety levels spike, which seems to have followed a major trauma I experienced in Dec 21 - during COVID…So when searching for a dentist who could deal and calm me during tooth extraction, fillings and root canal work, I was lucky enough to find Dr Sue, and the team at Dentists of Ivanhoe….We have since moved from Ivanhoe and relocated to Shepparton…. I still travel to see this team for dental work because of their professional and caring service and in particular their empathy for my circumstances. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, organised, great prices - I went to see Dr Shehan who gave me exactly the same treatment plan as a senior orthodontist, for a much better price and with great attention to detail. The reception team are lovely as well.

Fantastic experience: Dr Irena is very professional, caring, responsible and dedicated!! All staff are very friendly and helpful. Everytime I went there, I felt very welcomed and relaxed. Above all, I'm sooo impressed and sooo happy about the results of my front teeth dental surgery done by Dr Irena!! I was quite shy to make big smiles in the past or even avoid to smile when taking photos. Now I just couldn't help to show off my new front teeth to everyone. Fantastic experience: I had a tooth removed and a dental bridge placed in with Dr Shehan. After a long while considering the possible solution for my teeth, I went back to Dentists of Ivanhoe for some advice and Dr Shehan provided a clear explanation of the options, the pros and cons of each, and recommended a dental bridge. Dr Shehan and the team were helpful, gentle, patient and informative throughout the whole process. I'm very happy about the end result!

Sharon and Jade are amazing “front of house” Highly recommended Just had my 6 month cleaning with Manisha. Very gentle, very thorough, very effective, very good communication, excellent recommendations. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ I had my last cleaning with her, and her recommendations helped my dental health so much that this cleaning went VERY smoothly. Terry in the front of house was very professional and efficient. Overall a true five ⭐️ experience.
