Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at my recent dental appointment. The staff were incredibly professional and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire visit. Renae and Celina were both outstanding—very gentle, attentive, and thorough in their work. It’s clear they genuinely care about patient comfort and quality care. The environment was clean, calming, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I felt very comfortable being in their hands and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch dental team. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: People of the world stop what you’re doing and make an appointment with New Gisborne Dental House because this surgery has a dog, A DOG. Yes, that’s right people. THEY HAVE A DOG THAT YOU CAN PAT TO HELP CALM YOUR NERVES! Charlie the dog’s profile on the website indicates he’s there to assist anxious children but that’s just rubbish. I’m a fully fledged adult and Charlie was unquestionably therapeutic for me. But on a serious note I’ve been a lifelong certified anxious and discombobulated bag of nerves (part legitimate trauma and part good old fashioned irrational fear) when it comes to going to the dentist and this is the first time I felt comfortable. I saw Dr Lyle Worrell and aside from Dr Lyle being the bringer of Charlie the dog he was extremely understanding, patient and compassionate. All the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and highly professional. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Would do again.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Dr Elly Huang, and the team at New Gisborne Dental enough for the incredible care I received throughout what could have been a really daunting dental experience. I came in needing a root canal and replacing another broken crown — something I’d been dreading for a long time. From the very first appointment, Dr Elly was calm, reassuring, and extremely thorough. She took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. The procedure itself was far less painful than I expected, and the attention to detail — especially in fitting the new crowns — was outstanding. The after-care follow ups were also highly appreciated, which made me feel cared for as a person, not just a patient. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for high-quality dental care delivered with kindness and professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Like many I don’t enjoy going to the dentist and have been putting off having some work done. I saw Rowena at the New Gisborne Dental House and the service from start to finish was amazing. Rowena was extremely in-depth in my consultation, and clearly explained to me what she was looking at. I was completely comfortable throughout the whole treatment, the dental check-up, clean and fillings I had to return for. The dentist and hygienist really cared about my comfort levels and went to a great effort to ensure I was as relaxed as possible. The treatment rooms are bright, with Netflix on a TV you can watch during treatment. Reception staff were helpful and communicative. Honestly, I can’t fault anything - I will be back! Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with the team for a root canal. Excellent treatment and care from Elly. Very happy with procedure - efficient and well done, able to watch TV during (!) and see photos and XRs of tooth after. Lovely staff and well looked after, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have never had a negative experience at Gisborne Dental House. Great and competent staff. I had an emergency root canal and the pain was immediately dealt with. No pain the next day. The dentist was gentle and explained what he was doing as he went along. The denatal assistant was very professional and they worked well as a team. I have had some terrible experiences at other dentists so I know the difference . I cannot recommend gisborne dental house enough.

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the best dental experience I have had. I have seen a lot of time at this clinic this year and naturally was terrified. All wisdom teeth gone, barely any swelling or pain. A bunch of fillings a root canal and a clean all could have been painful and I wouldn’t have returned after the first visit. I now drive all the way from the city to go to this dentist because I don’t believe anyone else would be as good as these lovely folks. Bunch of teeth wizards, the lot of them.

Appointments are managed on time. Following dental work, a staff member calls patients the following day to check that all is okay. Overall, the service and quality of dental work is very good.

Fantastic experience: I visited with my daughter on the 12/02 and I can’t speak highly enough of the staff at the New Gisborne clinic. It was my daughter’s birthday and the lovely Michele ensured her visit was to be extra special and truly made her so happy with birthday wishes and thoughtful gestures! My daughter is usually very nervous at dental checkups and this being a new clinic for her was somewhat daunting but the staff were fantastic and Dr. Grace kept her calm and comfortable and was so fun and funny. Issy thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was so happy and well reassured as she was made to feel a part of the whole process and Dr. Grace ensuring her comfort the whole way through. I can’t recommend this clinic enough. Wonderful and lovely professionals who prioritise their patients above all else.

Fantastic experience: For many years I have dreaded going to the dentist, they could never totally solve my teeth issues and it was very painful until I discovered Dr Lyle at New Gisborne Dental house. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Lyle and this dental surgery, every staff member is friendly and goes above and beyond. I was put at ease and really listened to, what my issues had been , what I would like the end result to be and never rushed. Dr Lyle was patient, kind, honest and very knowledgeable. He gave several options, honest outcomes and numbed my mouth thoroughly before the injections. Attention to detail was of high importance through my 6 month journey and Dr Lyle always delivered. I am extremely happy with my teeth, he did an amazing job and can honestly say I have a passion for teeth again and no longer fear going to the dentist. Fantastic experience: I could not thank the team at New Gisborne Dental House more. The receptionists are so warm and welcoming, and happy to help in any way they can. When I called up asking if my root canal could be moved forward due to an increase in pain, they were so accomodating and found me an appointment time. Dr’s Lyle, Elly and Rowena made me feel so at ease. I have a massive fear of the dentist, but I felt extremely cared for in their hands. Dr Rowena performed the first stage of my root canal today, she listened to all my concerns and made sure I felt at ease. Dental assistant Jess held my hand the whole time, which I’m so grateful for. Fantastic experience: My comfort & understanding of procedures was clearly paramount to all staff, especially from Lyle, the dentist. The in house dental technology was amazing. To actually see a visual of the problem, progress & resolution, only enhances the process in a positive way. Lyle explained everything in a clear concise manor. Including pros & cons , all decisions were MY informed choices. (I was consulted with, NOT spoken to!) At no stage ‘extras’ were suggested or was I pressured into same. The TV hung from the ceiling kept me very distracted & entertained…-Big Bang Theory! I actually laughed a few times, during three fillings & a crown….. unbelievable! As a retired health care worker, I’m quite focused on hygiene practises. I viewed & experienced nothing but well practiced/versed, hygiene protocol. I’m very impressed & have no hesitations in recommending Lyle & this dental practice. Tanya

Fantastic experience: After many years of neglecting my teeth due to absolute fear and anxiety when going to Dentist visits, I went to New Gisborne Dental House. I was assigned to Dr Lyle who was so amazing. Turns out I had significant infection and deterioration of my gums due to my neglect. Dr Lyle was very compassionate and understanding and after discussing all my options, I elected to have teeth pulled, and immediate upper full dentures and partial lower dentures. 11 teeth had to be pulled and I elected to have this under general Anaesthetic. It has now been 2 weeks since I have had the procedure done by Dr Lyle and his team and I am absolutely delighted with the result. The immediate dentures were prepared by Nathan Matson at the Sunbury Denture Clinic and the Anaesthetist was Dr Paul from SMA Specialist Mobile Anaesthesia. The procedure took just over an hour and was expertly and efficiently undertaken by Dr Lyle. I had absolutely no after-effects from the Anaesthetic as Dr Paul had conducted a comprehensive questionnaire to ensure he was well informed before the procedure. Post procedure, the first few days were a little challenging but Dr Lyle had prescribed pain relief which helped enormously and by the 3rd day, I was already feeling better and comfortably eating a soft diet. 2 weeks on, my smile is wonderful, stitches have all healed. The dentures look amazing and fit so well and at this stage I need no adhesive or padding. I highly recommend Dr Lyle, Dr Paul and Nathan. Thank you to all of you. I am so very grateful that you have given me my beautiful smile back. I can’t stop smiling.

Fantastic experience: I can not speak highly enough of the exceptional care provided by Dr Elly and Lauren and the team at New Gisborne Dental House. My son experienced a dental injury while playing football on Saturday, and the prompt attention and expertise provided by the team was outstanding. As a mum it is quite harrowing seeing your sons teeth in bad shape, however Dr Elly and Lauren were so reassuring and ensured that my son (and me!) felt comfortable and at ease and the care provided was nothing short of exceptional. Fantastic experience: I don’t typically write reviews, but the service from Rowena and Lyle has been exceptional. I have never experienced “onsite while you wait crown milling” and I had it done 4 times with New Gisborne Dental House. The last one by Lyle was a crown on an old implant which everyone else thought would be impossible. Lyle was professional and it was a pleasure to deal with him - he managed the impossible. I would highly recommend this practice and all their practitioners - state of the art equipment and amazing people.

Fantastic experience: I normally have extreme dental phobia, but the dentists and staff at New Gisborne Dental House have really helped me overcome my fears. They were really patient with me and everything was explained step-by-step. I was given a quote before I proceeded with two crowns and two root canals, and the cost was significantly less than my last dentist. I'm now free from pain and can smile again. Thank you Dr Elle , I can't recommend you enough.

Negative experience: The dentists were gentle & friendly, but in my experience, the treatment offered is over-treatment, and was not medically or financially necessary. I only have one set of teeth, I do not wish these to be drilled & filled unless absolutely necessary. The same for excessive x-rays (x-rays provided by other dentists, then unnecessarily duplicated by this clinic). My preference is to visit a dental clinic that offers treatment on what is medically necessary, not what increases business for the clinic.

If you want supportive and friendly dental care in a super clean modern environment with people who take pride in their work, this is it. Ive waited my whole life to find this place. Fantastic experience: So i made the decision to get my self new teeth, screw in was the only option for me. I have qorn dentures for a long time. I left some of my origjinal teeth (my own). Had lots pulled out and after after many many years bëkan to loose more of my own teeth. I had a dreadful smileb. So I begun no more uming and arrrrring. I was intruduced to Dr Lyle What a amazing human being and the crew are incredable. I was informed of everything right through out the entire procedure, I now have both top and bottom NEW ,STRAIGHT, WHITE BEAUTIFUL TEETH, i now love to smile. Dont thunk about doing i your self, just do it.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an appointment at New Gisborne Dental for myself and my girls. The team was so lovely and attentive to our needs. My girls who usually are not fans of dentist, was so comfortable with Dr Elly who was great with them. Fantastic experience: My experience at New Gisborne Dental House was outstanding, and I highly recommend anyone to visit! From the moment I walked in I noticed how clean and inviting the practice is, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who made me feel very welcome. Before my extraction my dentist Dr Lyle sat me down and ran me through the procedure so I understood exactly what was going to happen, Checking to see if I had any questions or concerns before we got started. The extraction procedure was very smooth, Dr Lyle and nurse Jess were checking on me to see if i had any pain or discomfort or if i needed a break. However, as the extractions was completely pain free no breaks were needed and it was all done in under an hour. It has been 5 days since the removal of my wisdom teeth and there has been no significant pain or discomfort. Cant recommend New Gisborne Dental House highly enough!

Fantastic experience: Pain all weekend with a tooth abscess I called new Gisborne dental house on the Monday morning . They were able to see me straight away that morning. Now I have to tell you I hate the dentist I avoid them at all cost ….. this fear is from my childhood dentist. I did explain to them that morning that I’m not a fan of the dentist and they couldn’t of been more supportive kind and encouraging to me before my treatment. So from a bad weekend of tooth pain to a root canal and a tooth extraction in one hit….. all I can say is they are brilliant. The pain has gone and the fear of the dentist has gone. Highly recommend Lyle and Ally you are the best thank you so so much .
