Harris Dental Boutique - Dentist Bundaberg

Negative experience: Last visited here approx 12 months ago. Was very taken aback at the time at the amount of work that was recommended. The overall plan for work was extremely expensive, and that was before we even got to the query of possible veneers. We relocated not long after and so I didn't go back. However, the reason for my disappointing review is that upon relocating, my new dentist requested a copy of my records, and we were advised by HDB that I would have to pay hundreds of $ just to get those records. I had already personally requested the records and been told this, but my new dentist said that didn't make sense and they'd never had that experience so would try on my behalf. After they tried, I received a phone call confirming that they would be released if I paid for the release, or I could just get new imaging done with the new dentist which would likely be cheaper. I already knew it would be cheaper to go with the new dentist and get fresh scans, but it was still another expense. After getting the new imaging (part of which was able to be bulk billed), I was out of pocket $20.10. HDB wanted hundreds for the release of records showing the same thing. I understand every dentist has different pricing for actual services performed, but charging this level of fees to release records for people who have had to relocate is in my opinion inappropriate and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and professional staff. Relaxing environment. The dentist I saw, Kat, was gentle and thorough. I never felt rushed. After a previous visit to another dental clinic about the same issue with an implant, Kat was able to get to the bottom of what was causing my dental implant to become loose. I will definitely be returning to Harris Dental for a full examination and all future dental work.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the most wonderful treatment experience with the team at HDB. Over the 5 weeks of treatment, Dr. Olivia and Claire were absolutely amazing. A full mouth of crowns and veneers is a huge undertaking — both emotionally and financially — and I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive, professional, and kind team to guide me through the journey. From the very first consultation and smile design, right through to the expert aftercare, everything was handled with such care and attention to detail. Not to mention the fun chats in the chair that helped make each appointment feel comfortable and positive. Thank you so much Dr. Liv and Claire — I’m so grateful for the incredible results and the experience! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: As far as I can tell, it's a massive fix. But seems so effortless and taking fantastic care of not only the hygiene factor but the slightest bit of pain, they're fixing it. Makes me feel cozy, almost sleep like because of no pain felt and controlled movements with the way they apply the tools.

Fantastic experience: I had a consult with Leo and (I believe her name was) Danielle. I was looked after so well, with my concerns and anxiety put at ease. I had filled in a pre-appointment form where I had detailed my concerns, which had obviously been thoroughly read before I entered the room. There was a slip of paper on the dental tray that said "this room has been specifically prepared for Adrienne" which was a nice touch. Most of all, the ladies took my anxiety around dental work seriously and really normalised it so I didn't feel so silly. I am yet to actually have the work carried out but I have my appointment booked and I am, for once, not insanely nervous for the appointment. Thanks so much ladies

Fantastic experience: These guys are absolutely wonderful, Dr Jun is delightful, he explains everything so well, always asks me if I have questions, never rushes, always seems to be on time, I almost feel like I'm amongst friends, they're so welcoming I moved away from bundaberg and had to make a 10 hour round trip for my appointment, Joh went above and beyond to reschedule my appointment time for a slot that was more suitable for me, even rescheduling other patients, THANKS JOH x

Fantastic experience: Full lower jaw rebuild with 5 posts, including capping crowns and full post and crown, not finished yet, been and ongoing job with braces. For a 60 year old male, no other health issues, I’ve faired up very well so for a $100,000:00 smile, top jaw / posts & crowns start tomorrow. The Staff are always cheerful, happy and smiling, great atmosphere to visit, to be receiving treatment . I should have found these guys a couple of years ago, might have been cheaper , but hey, it’s now and by I’m pleased to be getting a decent smile and be able to chew foods properly again. Thankyou guys.

Can't fault anything about their work and customer service, however over $300 for a tooth removal is more than the average person can afford as removing of a troublesome tooth is suppose to be the cheapest option available for the not so wealthy.

You get a sense that it’s not a turn and burn operation. I received personalised, quality treatment in top class facilities. They took their time and explained everything in detail. Negative experience: One of the most pleasant used cars salesman experience I have ever had. Got a quote for $20 000 worth of work , my regular dentist who I am very happy with recommends works worth $3000. Not sure how anyone else feels but I would prefer to spend that $17 000 difference on me rather than paying for some ones tv adds or profit scheme. Overcharging someone by 600% is a great scam if you can it to work . I asked not be be followed up with and guess what two phone calls so far

It is how an organisations deals with problems, that you find out their true value. I had a problem with the result of one procedure. It was nobody’s fault. Just one of those unforeseen issues. Dr Jun and the rest of the team, took responsibility for getting it sorted. It took a number of visits and at no additional cost to me. This practice has demonstrated an impressive level of dedication, care and professionalism. I cannot speak too highly of them.

Fantastic experience: Incredible service, great knowledge, friendly and accommodating. I couldn't get anyone to look after my 4month old baby and they still seen me and helped with my baby when I was getting my teeth cleaned. They also have a coffee machine.

Fantastic experience: Dr Linc and his team are very professional people and will help you the best way possible. It’s a one stop shop as all dental work done INSITU which means only one visit to the clinic. Very happy with all work done on my teeth.

Fantastic experience: All on 4s: In June I started the process of upper and lower all on 4 dental implants/dentures with Harris Dental Boutique, through their dentistry school. I've had a fear of dentists for as long as I can remember, these fears were alleviated every visit by all staff ensuring I felt comfortable at all times and answering any questions or concerns I had. The 8 implants were done over 2 consecutive days, pain was manageable with paracetamol and codine which they provided me with. Check up 2wks later then 4mths of full healing before starting the denture process. Starting the denture part they take 3d x-rays from start to finish so there's no gagging on impression trays, and fits like a glove. A couple of visits for template try ons then 6wks later I had beautiful teeth after having none for nearly 3.5years. My husband couldn't stop looking at me on the way driving home, to the point I had to tell him to stop and concentrate on the road. Went to a party the very next night and got so many compliments on my new smile and bit emotional as I had a wide variety of food to choose from and try for a change, I was surprised how well I did eat being only a day, but know it will take time and I will stop biting my tongue and cheeks eventually, but even that is a pleasure from pain knowing my "teeth" did it. 100% recommend Harris Dental Boutique, fantastic service and results.

Highly recommend Katelyn for both children and adults. My daughter (and myself) always feel completely at ease in her care with her gentleness and attentiveness. She is an absolute gem, clearly excels in her field, and demonstrates so much passion for what she does. In addition, the dental assistants are always so accomodating and brilliant at what they do, and the ladies in reception are always incredibly helpful and friendly. It’s a whole experience visiting the practice; from the warm welcomes, being amongst the curated decor and interior design, personalised place cards, treatment and aftercare goodies, all these details and more will have you feeling so special and well taken care of. HDB is an extraordinary practice with an extraordinary team. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else :)

Fantastic experience: With the most horrible dental phobia, I knew it was time to get my teeth fixed before it was too late for me. I seen Dr Katt, who was extremely patient, gentle and kind. I have now had one procedure done and go back again in a weeks time, and I already feel more relaxed about my next visit. Not to mention Lisa at reception was also kind, caring and knowledgeable. Overall, with how terrified I am of dentists, I couldn't of had a better experience.
