Negative experience: I wish I could give 0 star. I booked an appointment for 3:20 Saturday afternoon, arrived 20 minutes early. Was told need to wait another 30 minutes, already waiting for 20 minutes. Didn’t get any response after waiting 1 hour in total. Had to leave without getting service. No apology as well. Do not recommend this centre at all. Could not reply to the owner review, thats why replying here: Receptionist told me to come back next time after waiting for 1 hour that’s why I left. And she also mentioned it’s closing at 4 pm. I had no other choice except leaving. Very unprofessional, why taking appointments if you can’t provide service. And also appointment was at 3:20. Reply: Your receptionist clearly asked me to book another appointment any other day after already waiting 1 hour. What is the point of waiting anymore if she already mentioned we’re closing in 10 mins.

Negative experience: The dentists are nice but the reception staff could really use some training in customer service. The middle aged receptionist working on the morning of Saturday, 14th June, was particularly rude to my daughter. However, her attitude noticeably changed when she saw I was present. People like that should not be the first point of contact at any business.

Fantastic experience: if you are looking for a wonderful dental experience and a very welcoming team then this is the place for you. Great care, great service, only too helpfull. wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Negative experience: My booking was cancelled without my notice two in a row. Wasted my time coming here. Dentist was nice but they need a better system

Fantastic experience: Burwood Dental Centre at 356 Burwood Highway, Vic. 3125 provides an excellent service. The treatment I have always received is just classy and I will not go to any other Dental Clinic for my regular cleans and other Dental treatment. I can safely recommend BDC to prospective patients for their outstanding skills, patient care and reasonable pricing.

Fantastic experience: Excellent practitioners and staff. Recently had an old cerec crown (done at another practice) break into pieces. I went into Burwood Dental Centre to get it replaced. It was a difficult case as I had very less bone structure, but the dentist (Dr. PK) ensured the crown fit perfectly! Highly recommend this place for all your dental needs.

Negative experience: So I visited This clinic about 3 weeks ago for a Root canal treatment, This is for a tooth for which a doctor from the same practice had already done a dental cavity filling, So I had already paid a fair amount for that. After that didn’t work another doctor from the same practice did the Root canal treatment I paid for the same and then came back 5 times to see her as I was still in pain .. in the midst of this treatment my dental cleaning was done as it’s covered by insurance so why not ! I was told the pain can be a bite adjustment or maybe a fracture and to re open it I would again be charged or they could refer me to a endodontist. I am glad common sense prevailed and I chose the specialist route. On seeing the specialist he immediately saw the X ray & commented how the cleaning wasn’t done and there were still some remaining nerves causing this pain. He redid it immediately and ofcourse I had to pay him his fees too. I am so deeply disappointed and feel so cheated to have paid 750 odd dollars to Burwood Dental centre let alone the money, made a total of 6-7 trips to get no resolution and an incomplete root canal for which I was charged. As a medical centre and doctor there is duty of care, if you have worked on a root canal and the patient still has pain it is the doctors duty to investigate and re open it not tell me I can reopen it but again there will be a cost involved and maybe it’s a fracture ! There is no fracture, it’s was just a poorly done job for which I was charged. I don’t recommend this clinic to anyone at all ever . It seems more like a private insurance scam.

Negative experience: I had a 2:30pm appointment and ended up waiting over half an hour with no explanation or update. Dr. Nicola didn’t acknowledge the delay, and I was just left sitting there until I asked the receptionist—only to be told I had to keep waiting. I had to pick up my kids from school, so I eventually left without receiving any service at all. This used to be my regular dental clinic, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. Very disappointing service. I do not recommend this dental if you need your appointment to be on time.

This was the first time I visited Burwood Dental Centre at 12pm on 15 June 2024. Dr. Ling fixed my crown problem and cleaned my teeth. She advised me to check on some issues with my GP. My wife and I are very thankful to receive her advice. Dr. Ling is a very kind, caring and thoughtful person. I would also like to give BIG THANKS to the front desk team for their work. Burwood Dental Centre is strongly recommended if you need dental care!

Negative experience: Horrible horrible service, the front desk lady can barely speak English. The doctors are very greedy and not professional. AVOID THE HASSLE and don’t come here

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this clinic. As someone who is incredibly fearful of the dentist and had some previous experiences elsewhere, I am so glad I have this clinic a try. From the incredible reception staff who are so kind, welcoming, reassuring and understanding, to Dr Fensuny who is calm, patient, reassuring and explains everything perfectly. Having my dental work completed here has been an easy process with the staff willing to work with me on what’s required, budget constraints and in stages to ensure I can get all work completed. This has been especially helpful as I am needing to have everything finalised with further treatment for a cancer diagnosis and treatment plan. I highly recommend Burwood Dental. And their patient centred approach.

Fantastic experience: I have seen 3 of the dentists here and they and reception staff are amazing people. Special mention for Dr. Fensuny as she was very informative with my check up today and was even kind enough to see my little one while we were there. My child has been in tears with dentists before, even a specialist pediatric dentist, but Dr. Fensuny and her assistant were so gentle and patient with her and tried to cheer her up. This eventually made her feel comfortable and happy which is the only thing a parent wants sending their kids to the dentist! Highly recommend this practice for young children as well as adults.

Negative experience: This is Gary, and feel free to call me to verify should you think otherwise. I called your clinic with no answer. Actually would you like me to post the screenshots of your misconduct? Your behaviour will not be tolerated. I have screenshots of your clinic publicly exposing client confidential details, breaching client confidentiality agreement, and I’m sure that will not reflect well when I send these to the Office of the Health Complaints Commissioner. I demand a formal apology from the owner and every staff involved. Dr P. K. did my clean last week, and my partner's clean today, and I'm deeply upset by their practice and how differently she treated us. She took X-rays of my teeth and I agreed because she said she thinks it's necessary due to the poor conditions of my teeth, but in the end told me there's nothing to worry at all, indicative of potential insurance scam. What's more ridiculous is that she treated my partner today (English is not even his first language), and said POST APPOINTMENT, that the 'complimentary' X-ray in the package which my partner paid for in full was not performed because she 'didn't think it was necessary, and I think that's because my partner didn't have insurance for them to claim from. To me this further consolidates my speculation of potential misconduct and potential insurance scam. I have brought this matter to BUPA's attention and created a case to alert them of the clinic’s behaviour. In addition to the poor practice, the receptionist lady is clearly not fit for the position. As communication with her is extremely difficult. The clinic should really take time to review their services before they have the cheek to threaten and say 'I'm going to call the police if you don't take these reviews down' when they receive nothing but honest reviews.

Negative experience: This place is ridiculous. I paid for check up cleaning & X ray for a whole package but they didn’t do x ray for me. And they still charge me for it. Before the appointment they told me the X-ray will be operated later and when I say I don’t need to do the extra filling today they changed and say I don’t need X-ray either. But why I need to pay for it? The doctor said because they only have one package. It’s not making any sense. This is not verbal consent. This is Scam. I need to let everyone know what kind of business you are. And now you are revealing my name. I already screenshot and saved all evidence and I will let my lawyer to talk to you. You can’t shut me up because I told the truth. As a long term customer (3 years)with your clinic. I’m so shocked how you treat your customers and other ppl should know how you overcharge their money and how you claim unnecessary item from your client’s insurance. We have 2 ppl for the same appointments. One with insurance , one without insurance, your doctor operated the X-ray to the client who has insurance, even though it’s not needed. Because your clinic can claim extra from his insurance. I’m the guy with no insurance, even your package included X ray and you still refused to operate X-ray for me. Because you couldn't claim extra from any insurance company. Even the X-ray is in included in the package I paid, You still didn’t do this for me. This is what happened. And other ppl deserve to know. Don’t come this place. Really not professional. I have my dental appointment with this clinic for 3 years but I’m definitely not coming back again. I treated your staff with respect. I confirmed with your front desk what is included in the package I paid for. She said she doesn’t know. After she check with the doctor and she said what included in the package depends. This is totally non-transparent to your customers After I left this review, they called me to threaten me that they are going to call the police on me because I wrote this review. This is how you treat your costumer when they tell the truth!!! This is how ridiculous they are. Please don’t come this place.

Positive experience: The stars are purely for the fantastic dentists such as Dr Fensuny Chan and Dr Manpriya Hans. The service I’ve received from the receptionist was absolutely appalling this time. My latest visit to this clinic was full of problems. Starting with receiving an abrupt text msg informing me that I was double booked and need to change my time from 12 to 2:30. The text also didn’t address my name correctly, so I had to call in the clinic to check thinking the text may be a spam number. Since this happened a day before my appointment, I had to rearrange my day to make it to the 2:30 appointment. When paying post appointment, the receptionist tells me the card machine seems to have frozen hence I had to pay in full for the day, however after the full payment I was not able to obtain a receipt as the printer had also malfunctioned and could not print me a receipt. I would have empathised with the outages as office machines can play up every now and then, but the “matter of fact” and unapologetic attitude I received from the receptionist really escalated the whole situation. It’s a shame such wonderful dentists are let down by this receptionist.

Fantastic experience: While I don't like dentists personally, I have always found Dr Nicola amazing and very supportive when seeing my children. She explains everything thoroughly and shows you/ the child what to watch for and how to do cleaning a certain way. Always happy and personable which makes it a much nicer more relaxed experience. Very much into prevention (rather than cure), offering many options and solutions to a problem.

Positive experience: Went to do the dental filling. It was nice and easy. The dentist inspected the tooth and did the filling..all is good except a couple things that I found that i am not happy about. The glasses they get you to put it on is dirty..need some deep cleaning, especially it has been used by many patients. The helper who holds the dental suction device was not being gentle, caused a few uncomfortable moments when he shoved it right in my mouth without care.

Fantastic experience: This is by far the best dental clinic I have ever been to; not only is the skill and quality of the work without parallel it's very reasonably priced, I have been to dental clinics and gotten lower levels of care and skill but the prices have been twice or three times what this place charges. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I brought my son to see Dr Nicola who was amazing. I decided to bring my daughter too as she's looking to do Invisalign. We got an appointment for last Thursday, 9.30am. But that morning, the receptionist rang and told us our appointment been moved with another dentist at 10.30. When we met with the dentist (think it was Pen or Fen), we did advise that we were there for a consultation for Invisalign. After the consultation, while going out we were stopped by the reception and said we were to pay for consultation. I responded that I thought it was free as we came for Invisalign. She checked with the dentist if we need to pay. She responded "if she feels like it." I've never met someone so rude as when I did the appointment I did check their website which says it's free.

Negative experience: Genuinely so disappointed at the service. Please DO NOT come here If you're seeking for professional help. Nothing against the staff personally but I just don't think they are professional / know what they are doing. Went to visit them for a toothache on left initially but the doctor said it needed root canal treatment but tried to find ways to solve it instead of directly referring me to a specialist. Then she proceeded with doing filling on my other teeth and started shaving some of them off because it hurts so bad after each treatment. Each treatment didn't even helped but became worst because the doctor kept trying to do unnecessary work on it. In the end I had to go to a spspecialist to restore multiple teeth. Honestly a terrible experience altogether. The doctor were just so inexperienced.
