Fantastic experience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 I went in for a general check-up, needing a wisdom tooth removed — and to my surprise, it was taken care of on the spot. The entire process was incredibly smooth and completely painless. I didn’t feel a thing! The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful throughout. I felt well looked after from start to finish. I’ll definitely be returning for any future dental work. Huge thanks to the whole team for your great work!

Fantastic experience: I had 4 teeth extractions in one appointment and was very pleased with the results. Dr Owais Ahmed was thorough, explained the process, checked in on my pain levels throughout the extractions and even took a break in between when we were running ahead of time. I really appreciated his care and attention. Will definitely consider seeing Dr Owais for other procedures or routine cleans. The staff at the reception were lovely too.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a check-up and a clean. Dr Vuk Paripovic was excellent. He noted how nervous I was and made sure I was comfortable, checking-in constantly. He explained everything properly and provided clear options for treatment, without being pushy. He also took his time to do an impressive, Olympic-grade, thorough deep clean. In addition, my appointment was on time, and the reception staff was professional, friendly, and efficient. Look, going to the dentist is a stressful and expensive ordeal. This was my first visit in about 5 years. My past experience of dentists has been bad (the notable exception being my mother who was, of course, excellent). Funny side story, my last dentist tried to convince me that my teeth were in critical DANGER and that I needed urgent (and very expensive) treatment. When I asked for the X-rays so I could get a second opinion from Mummy-Dentist, he immediately walked-back the dire diagnosis and explained that my teeth were fine actually but he was just being cautious...

Fantastic experience: Staff were extremely helpful when I rang in extreme pain, I wasn’t a client of theirs, they slotted me into an appointment that day, unlike my usual dentist who said I had to for 3 days and I had only visited them the day before, Gateways diagnosed I require a root canal, they moved their lunch break to later in the day so I wouldn’t have to wait in pain, did an awesome first treatment pain free. 100% recommend gateways dental.

Fantastic experience: My nervous child was put at ease from the get go by the lovely staff! He also fainted after his procedure and the dentist scooped him up and laid him flat on the chair, took his pulse and once clear told us to take our time. When leaving 2 staff members walked us out to our car 'just in case' but he was fine. We received follow up phone calls to check in on him and he has recovered very well. Highly recommend!

I was unfortunately late to my appointment, which they were understanding and were able to book me back in for the next day to have the second half of my appointment. Very good experience during the actual appointments too, checked the strength of my fillings rather than just visually inspecting and cleaned quick and efficiently whilst not being painful at any point. Finally talked to me about a replacement filling for my cracked one and was able to inform me well enough that I can separate the costs while still not letting my tooth start to decay. Overall an excellent experience and I look forward to seeing them again for my next appointment

Positive experience: Bit harder to cancel an appt than necessary - 2 emails and a phonecall. Dentists might be missing out on business if it takes 3 days to cancel an appt. Usual, what I believe to be, upsell from the dentist (you need fillings, xrays etc) with unclear benefit to the patient. I've received conflicting advice from another dentist who says the filling is only necessary if you're experiencing sensitivity or pain, so now I'm confused and have to do my own research. The actual clean was excellent and reception was friendly. Convenient location, tidy offices, professional staff.

Negative experience: Posting this on behalf of my wife, who had a disappointing and frustrating experience with this clinic. She brought her retainers to ensure they could be properly fitted with the permanent crown. Shockingly, the dentist was unable to fit her retainer anymore. Her tooth had to be shaved, as well as her retainer, but the issue still wasn’t resolved. The dentist mentioned she wouldn’t charge for this visit, but that misses the point entirely. A perfectly good retainer was ruined, and now we are forced to replace it at a considerable cost. This experience was a bit disappointing and has caused unnecessary stress and expense. Update from my wife after her last appointment: My dentist was lovely and I don't have any personal problems with her. I am sure I was told that my retainers will still fit after the crown, with no problems because she told me that is the reason why she is taking "impressions" and scans of my teeth. I wouldn't be frustrated after the crown if I already know beforehand that my retainers will not fit and would have anticipated and prepared myself to have new retainers. Anyways, I appreciate the replacement even if it is not as good as my invisalign retainers and hoping to move on with a positive note from this experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth removed, the experience was painfree and smooth and my healing process was awesome.

Negative experience: First time coming to this clinic & I brought my partner to get his tooth pulled out - this is 9:20am. Went in, had the usual check up & xray. The Dr was very loud, talkative & tried to crack jokes to make sure my partner is comfortable as he had a lot of anxiety. He recommended us going to have some food & something sugary and then come back due to these nerves. We did so & came back, then we were waiting for a long while where we were told we’d need to rebook for extraction due to a water issue. Then we left after rebooking. We eventually got the call to ask if we were free to come back soon for the extraction and so we said yes - this will be at 12-12:30pm. We continued on waiting due to the Dr being with another patient and eventually were called in. Everything was explained & then signed the forms. As they were putting in the numb cream & then eventually the needles, my partner reacted & said that he could still feel everything. This was being brushed off & he started getting light headed.. Dr then got the small water hose, spraying my partners face & throwing water on his face to try calm him?¿ Whilst waiting couple mins for the numbing to try kick in, it was mentioned by the assistant in the room that the Dr had another job straight after this around 1:30pm! Eventually they began doing the extraction procedure which got my partner reacting a lot & saying it hurts, whilst the Dr keeps persisting & handling him very rough! I could see & felt my partners legs shaking and told them to give him a break - which they looked not too impressed with. My partner said he felt really overwhelmed & tried to say more but the Dr cut him off and said “listen to me” & brushed both of us off basically saying to push on getting it done. As friendly & a joker the Dr is, I found this experience for my partner actually quite Poorly. How the fear dragged for 3-4hours, there wasn’t enough care or awareness of how he’s going, he said he could still feel a lot & it wasn’t tended properly, and FINALLY everything looked roughly handled & rushed!! I would not bring my partner to this clinic again & I have my appointment next coming up for a clean - due to being pregnant.. and I’m really starting to reconsider.. looking into cancelling & go back to my original Dental clinic - quite a distance, but at this point at least I know they’d have more care with me.

Fantastic experience: For obvious reason, have never enjoyed dental visits. But Dr Vipul has managed to put me at ease. Takes his time and is very gentle. Just had crown done without any of the anxiety that usually goes with it.

Positive experience: Quick and easy for emergency care. Friendly, Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Although, personally, I had further care done elsewhere, at no fault of Gateways. I was attracted by the fact they offer payment options such as Afterpay as not everybody has Private Health and it's puts a bit of ease into the pricey process of oral care.

She made me feel very comfortable and explained everything she did. The receptionist (Erin I think) was also really sweet and had excellent customer service! They also waived the gap for my visit as I was a first time client, so I saved $139! Will definitely be going back to these guys ☺️ thank you for a great visit!

Negative experience: Their turnover for dentists seems to be high here. Been here a few years and used to see good dentists who explained things properly. Last time I went, got told I need a filling and not given any real explanations or information about other options. Not really my style of care.

Fantastic experience: It was an excellent dental experience especially for me who is terrified going to the dentist. The dentist is really good and I had a really nice experience especially during filling up my tooth with nil pain as I am very much sensitive to pain. The anaesthesia was very effective numbing the gums that there was no pain during the process. I highly recommend them. The assistant of the dentist is very encouraging to me to relax as I was already anxious. From now on, I will choose them as my go to for any dental issues and concerns.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sandeep was so lovely. I have put off going to the dentist for a long time (dentist anxiety anyone?) and Dr Sandy was equally kind and matter of fact. I knew I’d be expecting a bit of work, but I didn’t feel judged, I found out quickly what needed to be done. We went through my options and made a plan to do it. Throughout the process Dr Sandy regularly checked I was ok and didn’t judge my nervous tears! She made me feel positive about starting the journey to caring for my teeth and made up for a lot of negative dental experiences in the past. All staff I interacted with made my experience very easy, from reception to dental assistant. Thank you all so much!

Fantastic experience: I consider myself a fussy patient (sorry Doc), especially since I have been spoiled growing up with both of my parents are Dentists. So, my standard of expectation from Dentist is quite high. I can say I’m quite please from my first dental cleaning and check up session with Dr Guru, he is very gentle and thorough, made it very comfortable experience. Unfortunately, he is transferring to different practice, and I’m hoping my next appointment will be providing same level of service. I may write another review by then.

Fantastic experience: I had a very friendly welcome from the reception team, who were able to confirm things for me and adjusted my appointment time without complaint when I had a diary clash. The dentist was gentle, knowledgeable and personable and I did not feel rushed, and felt informed about my care with a discussion afterwards on what was found and options on what to do next and possible outcomes if I left things longer. As a nice touch being able to see my potential out of pockets on any future work was nice, as I was not made to feel awkward asking the receptionist to check my insurance cover for me. Other places I've been to say "it just depends on your insurance," and leave uncertainty, rather than go the extra mile at the time to give informed financial consent. I felt there was a non judgemental professional attitude from the dentist and didn't feel pressured to have expensive treatments or be upsold - I was really happy with my experience overall.
