Fantastic experience: A very positive experience, walking into a very pleasant and tastefully decorated and calming reception to the very welcoming reception team. The dentist (Jalina) and her assistant (Lara) created an environment where I felt respected, informed and confident. Every part of the procedure was very well explained with compassion showed during the process. Even the always daunting cost was also a pleasant surprise as including my health fund rebate, I was left with minimal out of pocket expenses. Well done team.

Fantastic experience: Found Hinterland Dental Group and Dr Sam Roberts through doing some online research as my own dentist didn't do wisdom teeth removal. I was super nervous as a colleague of mine just had an awful experience with their wisdom teeth removal at a different dentist, but these guys were great. In the initial consultation I was given all in depth information including pricing, so I could make an informed decision. I went with IV sedation as I had impacted teeth, I was made sure I understood everything required. Everyone was very lovely and I was given painkillers, antibiotics, and a sick leave note without having to ask. They gave good instructions and checked up on me the next day. I haven't had any issues so far but I have no doubt that if I did they would assist. I definitely recommend if you need a more complicated teeth removal.

My 17yr old son has been going to Hinterland Dental for many years now & they make him feel so relaxed, chatting about the latest shows on Netflix & what's happening at school. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend the team here enough, I was in yesterday for the extraction of a badly infected tooth and wound up going to hospital afterwards to get IV drip antibiotics to ensure the infection would not spread. My technician for the day, Dr Darien even called me after he'd finished work to check in and see how I was going, you simply cannot get better care than that, thank you Sir, you're a deadset legend in my eyes! Dr Jalina is also amazing and so was the other Dr whose name I have forgotten. Highly professional, gentle and caring service, thank you all so much, you do amazing work!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been putting off getting my wisdom tooth pulled for years. The convenience of having X-ray machine and everything in the one place made it hard to come up with excuses not to get it done. Team went above and beyond to fit in with my tight schedule and even stayed back late on a Friday afternoon to complete my procedure. Receiving a message following the procedure to check how I was doing shows that they care about their clients. Will be recommending to everyone when the discussion comes up in the future.

Fantastic experience: I was super scared of going to the dentist and had put it off for probably around 6 years but Gemma was super nice and made me feel safe and comfortable and aware of everything she was doing. She’s filled three of my teeth, saving one that I thought we would have to pull. She filed down my chipped front teeth which brought up my confidence. I also won a $400 teeth whitening kit and I am super excited for the results. I am so glad I built up the courage to go to the dentist and see Gemma. Fantastic experience: What a relief to find this incredible dental practice 6 years ago. In the past, fear of going to the dentist affected my dental (and mental) health. Now I have zero anxiety about going for regular checkups. I actually enjoy seeing my dentist Gemma because she is so skilled, caring and sparky. All the staff are so lovely. As a result of Gemma’s expert and holistic care, I was referred to a Physiotherapist for treatment of TMJ disorder - after experiencing pain in teeth, face and jaw for many years undiagnosed until I saw Gemma, who also ensured ongoing preventative treatment (mouth guard). I am so grateful to be free of pain.

Negative experience: Not impressed at all. After having some fillings done I now have long lasting and severe sensitivity in my teeth. I had never had any sensitivity at all. It’s debilitating and extremely frustrating and it looks like I’m stuck with it for life.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Claire for the last 18months and I can not recommend her enough, she is so gentle and caring when getting a clean done. I was so happy, that I changed dentist for my two young children also, then my husband followed and is now going here too. Claire also picked up that my son had extra teeth and was able to send us to a surgeon to get these removed, then followed up to see how he was going.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Rupen Patel for several months now, for extensive dental treatment. After an unpleasant experience elsewhere I was so happy to find Dr Patel. He is the nicest, kindest and most gentle dentist I’ve ever come across. I’m not the best dental patient, and he is always so patient and considerate. I am also impressed by the way he speaks with respect and kindness to his dental assistant. His assistant Alannah, is also wonderful and they make such a nice and welcoming team. Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth infection occur on New Years when everything was closed. The swelling was so bad it felt hard to breathe - an utterly miserable experience. Must have called half the dentists in QLD to no avail before getting onto Dr Gemma at Hinterland Dental Group who gave a perscription over the phone - the meds were a literal life saver and reduced the swelling in a few hours. Had the extraction and clean done in the days shortly after and it was a very efficient process which I was very happy with. Very happy with this dentist and in my experience they went way above and beyond.
