Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with the dentist for the first time in my life! Dr Moksha Rana made pulling out my wisdom tooth a breeze and made me feel as comfortable as possible. She was incredibly reassuring throughout, constantly checking in to make sure I was okay, which really helped put me at ease. Thank you so much Dr Rana! You are stuck with me as I won't be going to anyone else! :)

Fantastic experience: I have great anxiety of the dentist but I went there today to get urgent repair done and it went great. Great service from the desk to the doctor that attended to me. Now I will not be as worried next time .. THANKS GUYS

Negative experience: Over a year of check ups they left me with an infection in my jaw which was coming from a tooth with a vertical crack into the gum line. They took lovely photos of the gum area each time and did not address why the gum had an issue. The infection was only identified when it was so bad that it involved half my top jaw. I also know the dentist who removed the tooth doesn't pull teeth unnecessarly as I have sent others to the practice and their teeth were saved. Response: yes. Oct 2023. No. I did not return. Dentist I saw that day had zero people skills. As per my previous comment, the jaw infection came from the cracked tooth that wasn't addressed despite indication in the gum specifically at that tooth on the previous two visits. Yes. I accept periodontal is a longer term issue and is my responsibility. I have removed it from the original review and added it below for context only 'I ended up having to have the tooth removed and requiring periodontal treatment. A year later I am still fighting to save other teeth. It has cost me at least $1,000 in the last year.'

Fantastic experience: I am truly a big chicken! A visit to the dentist for me is a huge hurdle ; even to make it through the door or not cancel my appointment due to chickening out. It's been at least 8 years since I've been to the dentist and probably 20 years prior to that to which, I'm not proud of . Today I had two teeth extracted and a filling. I couldn't believe how easy it was . I cancelled my appointment twice prior but, knew I had to go and get over my fear in order to start to get my mouth healthy again. I honestly cannot express how good my experience was with Dr. Amit; He was my savior!. I now feel I can walk through that door with little to no anxiety which, for me is a true accomplishment. This couldn't have happened without such a great Dentist to carry out the procedure. Given my fear and anxiety I couldn't have been given a better dentist to treat me. I've already made another appointment with him for 2 weeks time. He was amazing and I felt very comfortable and at ease. He was extremely professional and my fear of going to the dentist has significantly reduced. All the staff there were friendly and nice and understood my fear. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Dentist for Chickens for many years now and honestly can't rate them highly enough, from being the biggest chicken ever who put off seeing a dentist for far too long, I am now happily going every 6 months, I no longer dread the experience thanks mainly to Ravinda, who is absolutely amazing, I actually had an appointment today for a back molar that had lost a very old amalgam filling, Ravinda had hoped to be able to cap it but it was too far gone so instead it was removed, I honestly felt nothing at all and couldn't believe how quickly it was done, I was amazed, and I have had no pain at all. But they made her feel very comfortable and were able to get all the work done that was needed. The dentist listened to what I want and we have made a plan going forward. He explains everything he does and doesn't mind answering any questions I have. I have a terrible fear of dentist and anything to do with teeth, but this place has made me comfortable enough to go and not put off any dental work needed and general checkup’s. Fantastic experience: Very clean and friendly, they got me in same day for a toothache and sorted my issue very quickly, so quick and painless I had a tooth extraction and I thought that Dr Amit was still just looking at my tooth but he had already pulled the tooth out completely pain free!! Very happy!!

Fantastic experience: I will always come back here. I had two teeth pulled this afternoon and Dr Amit did another perfect job. He always talks me through the procedure while presenting me with options and relevant info and always askes if I am ready to start. I have been here a few times before this and have always had a comfortable pain free experience. Dr Amit has a wonderful manner and all the staff are quite lovely. Fantastic experience: Excellent people here, they take care of you. I arrived 45 minutes early and drowsy from my painkillers and they even came to wake me up in my car when it was my time to go in. When I said it was hurting they stopped. After 15 years between dentist visits, I won't leave it so long next time.

Then a friend recommended Edgeworth Dentist for chickens so I bit the bullet, I had tears just sitting waiting to see the dentist but then I had the pleasure of meeting the dentist Amit Kalra, he was wonderful I was able to have a tooth extracted with very minimal discomfort, and I didn't even have white knuckles or have to hold on for dear life. Fantastic experience: I am petrified of dentists. To the point I cried walking in to the surgery. The team there are absolutely amazing. They were kind and professional. Gave me the time I needed. Not once made me feel like I was being a child. Stopped whenever I needed. Before this visit, the thought of even ringing the dentist made me feel sick. Whilst I am still not a fan, I can write this review, thinking about my experience, and I don't feel sick in doing so. They really are the Dentists for chickens. Fantastic experience: Amit was brilliant with my daughter Ivy. He was so patient with her even when she was having a meltdown!!. In the end she was great because of the kindness he showed. Thankyou for everything... we will definitely be back!! Since this review we have been back many times - not just for check ups but because of some work that Ivy needed to be done. For quiet a while She was very apprehensive about the treatment still but after everyone was some kind and patient over numerous visits Ivy felt confident to proceed with the treatment and it went so well! Their professional team have changed Aryans fears into a comfortable experience and he now doesn't want to go to any other dentist. Fantastic experience: The staff are absolutely fantastic, I called early morning to get an emergency appointment and Mel was incredible, even though they didn’t have any appointments she took her time to give me advice on what to do, after 5 minutes of looking for another dentist Mel had called me back saying that they would squeeze my daughter in. Apon arrival we were met with Mel who was happy and bubbly who got us seen pretty much straight away, the dentist (cannot remember his name) who carried out the work is absolute treasure to have in the business, he was friendly and explained everything to my scared daughter and even made sure her stuffed toy had a check up, we couldn’t be more grateful for the staff there and we definitely will be going here in the future! Fantastic experience: This dental surgery did a fantastic job of calming my very nervous 10 year old on two separate occasions, when some dental procedures were needed. Our dentist Ravinder was very patient and talked my child through everything that was happening, step by step. The dental assistants and admin staff were also very kind and did a great job of lightening the mood and making the experience less scary. I very highly recommend this practice and my child now refuses to see anyone else.

Rather than being referred to have him put under a GA, I reached out to Dentist for Chickens for help. Dr Amit has worked his magic and now my son is free of pain. My son loves going to the Chicken Dentist!

Negative experience: Not gentle at all. I went here to have a tooth pulled out (this being my third one) and this was by far the most ruff I’ve had and as a result can hardly move my jaw after. She told me if I felt any pain to let her know so I did this twice and she just said “might have to numb it more” then continued on twisting the tooth.

I hadn’t gone to a dentist in 10 years due to anxiety from past experience, at dentist for chickens I saw Dr Amet/Emmet (not sure how he spells it) and he was absolutely lovely, made me feel so comfortable, I had no pain, he was amazing. Negative experience: Do not use this dentist if you have a fear of dentists. Went to the Edgeworth clinic on Saturday to have a tooth extracted. I chose this dentist because I had heard good things about them. Everything I heard was wrong. I have an eversion to needles and I told this to the dentist, who was not interested at all. He first poked the tooth I knew was needing removal and I nearly jumped out of the chair. Next he gave me a needle on the inside and outside of my gum, which I knew was normal and yes rubbed some numbing gel on it first. After a few minutes the dentist then tested to see if my gum was numb, which it wasn't and again caused me more pain. Then he seemed to get annoyed because he needed to give me two more needles, which he did very roughly. According to the receipt Dr Amit Kaira treated me.

Fantastic experience: I avoided a dentist since I was kid, because I went to the one at Toronto and they tore me down. 20 or so years since seeing the dentist, well they did brilliant. Talked me through what the plan of attack was. Gave me a few options. It wasn't expensive. And now my teeth feel fantastic and havn't felt that way for 2 decades. I didn't smile with my teeth during that time. Now with great confidence I can. Thank you team for looking after me, and moving me up the schedule when I was panicking . Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Dentist for Chickens, haha!! They need to learn how to make a person comfortable, relaxed and explain procedures, a policy they should follow, thankfully he's now with a dentist & is ecstatic.

Fantastic experience: I went to these guys after too many years of avoiding the dentist. Had a tooth that needed serious work. They were kind, understood my fears, and worked to ensure I was educated about my choices regarding care, and pain relief. From reception, to nurses, to dentist I was happy with the care I received. I am now day 3 post-extraction and feeling good! Will return here in future, feeling more confident to actually get a yearly check up now.

Fantastic experience: Dentist for Chickens has the most Professional & Caring Team of Dentists. Ravinder has done an excellent job on my front teeth. They look amazing & I can now smile without feeling self conscious. Both Ravinder & Amit have attended to my Dental needs previously. They are an excellent team of Dentists.

Negative experience: Can’t say I was very impressed with this company. Booked in for a loose/sore tooth. Was charged $320 for at the most 10 minutes work. The tooth was so loose it took one twist and it was out. As this was a rear molar once removed my tongue started rubbing on a sharp piece of the tooth infront. I rang to see if I could come back in and have the sharp piece ground off. I returned the next day and they informed me it had nothing to do with the extraction and it would be a further $130 to smooth the tooth and stop it irritating my tongue. I felt gouged at this point because when I had the $320 extraction i should have been told that maybe the exposed sharp tooth could have been rectified and then and not have to return. To cop an extra fee on returning just felt like I was being ripped off. Also on top of this was quoted $1080 to carry out peridontal cleaning at a future date. I ended up having this done elsewhere as I got a quote for half the price. Just feel others should be aware of this blatant gouging of customers.

Negative experience: I rang 3 weeks ago and booked appointment @ Edgeworth. I Received a text message confirming my appointment which was incorrect. I contacted the office and was told the staff would 'shift' some appointments around and will call me back. that was 3 days ago. I then received a call yesterday from the office confirming my incorrect appointment. I told the person that it was incorrect and someone was going to 'fix the problem'. I was then advised they are booked up and will have to wait a further 4 weeks before i can get an appointment. Not happy at the moment with this service.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant!, 2 huge molars, one 'baby' tooth- all gone - quickly, efficiently with virtually no pain (just minimal pain with needles). A great result in a patient who's last extraction at another dentist was extremely painful - dentist would not listen when told that pain felt after needles - and was overly long (over 90 mins). We will be returning, happily!

Fantastic experience: This dentist is amazing!! Ash and Julie were incredibly kind and friendly. They made me less anxious and gave me multiple breaks. I will definitely be returning to this dentist. Thanks again for the amazing dental work and lovely staff!

Negative experience: I had a extraction and filling done at Dentist for Chickens Edgeworth on Tuesday 16th November. It was the worst experience of my life. I suffer from extreme anxiety. There ads say they would accommodate with this but the while experience was so degrading awful and horrible. To help with my anxiety they gave me a plush cow toy to hold now HOW BELITTLING FOR A GROWN WOMEN. They did nothing at all to help me. Upon ending of my appoint the dentist started that they were unable to extract one of my teeth, as they had fiddled with it and should not have it caused a major infection I returned 2 days later to get help and they did nothing. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT EVERYONE AVOID THIS DENTIST IF THEY SUFFER FROM ANXIETY OR SCARED of the dentist Never again would I go there

Fantastic experience: Amit did a brilliant job on my broken front tooth. I have an irrational fear of the dentist and the team were so comforting, kind, professional and reassuring. Fantastic experience: Usually avoid any Dentist whenever possible but had to have some necessary work done recently & can’t speak highly enough of Dentist for Chickens Edgeworth. Staff were professional and genuinely caring and my new Dentist Tas was awesome. The whole team made sure the procedure was relaxed and pain free. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Dr Amit was so caring removed my thooth without me even feeling it was out. Got an emergency appointment with in the hour throw covid thanks to the lovely lady who took my phone call . 10 out of 10 thank you so much healing great . I'll be back

Fantastic experience: At my first appointment I felt very welcome and taken care of. I hate the dentist and get very anxious but everyone made sure I was okay and did not do anything without asking me first. They made sure I was comfortable and I had such a great experience I had no problem booking in another appointment with them. And the reception staff is very lovely as well! Overall a great experience and lives up to its name which means I can finally fix my teeth!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic treatment from a professional team today. Receptionist was lovely and knowledgeable. My needle phobia was expertly managed by my Dentist and Dental Assistant. Barely felt the needle stage. TV installed into the ceiling above the operating chair is a great distraction. Communication through the procedure made a big difference. Looking forward to my next Dental appointment.

Fantastic experience: Staff were excellent. Made me feel relaxed from the time I got in till I left. My feelings were priority by constantly being asked how I was going. I never have rebooked a dentist appointment on my way out before, but I did today! Tooth extraction was a breeze. I won’t say that I’m looking forward to my next appointment but can say that Im no longer apprehensive or anxious about it!

Fantastic experience: 11/10 would recommend this dentist. First they looked after my boyfriend with a cap a few months back and he was terrified of dentist but they were able to ease his mind and made him feel so much better so I decided to book for my own. Had 2 wisdom teeth out today and the service was just as good, if not better. All staff were friendly and welcoming which helps when your a scaredy-cat like me lol. The covid safety plan is being followed to great extents making sure everyone checked in and out with the QR code, pens were sterilised, sanitation stations available and patients wait in the car so they can completely sterilise the office and room between patients. For someone with anxiety this made my experience so much better I will definitely go back should I have any dental issues come up. Thank you so much to all the staff there and in case nobody told you yet, you are ALL doing a great job and you are appreciated ❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: its no diffferent to any other dentist, all the information about being personalised or being in the drivers seat on their website is entirely false, didnt do so much as to ask me why i was afraid of the dentist, let alone cater to those issues. had to stop the dentist 4 times due to pain despite the numbing, and most of the time during drilling it was stressful/slightly painful enough that i was digging my nails into my arm. sure as hell wont be going back for the 2 more appointments they wanted its also not possible to reply to your own review so i cant respond to your question without you proving means to do so rav.

Fantastic experience: Have had my wisdom tooth removal/check up and clean. Everyone from the dentists, nurses and front of house staff have always been kind and reassuring and able to explain everything in great/simple detail to understand, everything from how to benefit the most with my dental hygiene, going above and beyond in making sure I was most comfortable! And reassuring any questions or concerns! Highly recommend and will continue to recommend to friends and family.
