Fantastic experience: Great service, very friendly and onto it!

Negative experience: I always have an injection before a clean and instead of getting the nurse to apply the numbing gel to my gums he asked her to apply Vaseline tomy lips as he said they were dry. I thought it was a caring gesture but he went straight into my gums with the needle and now I have sore infected gums and a second opinion from a dentist yesterday said it was definitely from the injections. Just plain nasty

Fantastic experience: So very patient and kind. Listened to concerns and health history and offered a treatment plan that didn’t feel invasive or like they were try to sell me a product. Would definitely recommend if you’re a lil nervous. Everyone including reception staff were so understanding and accommodating

Fantastic experience: Saba the dental hygienist was lovely and caring. She was very understanding and kind throughout the consultation. She went out of her way to make sure I was fully informed of everything and explained everything in a easy to understand kind of way. Her chair side manner was outstanding, and the treatment was extremely effective. Dr Garrie and his dental assistant were amazing. First time visit in a long time due to some nerves and they made my treatment a lot less painful than I thought it would be. He was able to do the procedure in the most cost effective manner, without compromising on the quality of his care. I highly recommend seeing these guys especially if you are weary of the dentist like I was.

Fantastic experience: I had lost my smile a few years ago from grinding my teeth in my sleep and had lost a lot of confidence in smiling. Then doctor Gary worked his magic on building my teeth back up and now they look completely normal and they feel amazing. Thank you again for giving me the confidence to smile again. All the staff there are very nice and always check up on the patients after having any work done the next day.

Fantastic experience: Excellent. Process went smoothly and extremely gentle. Was by far the best clean I've had in terms of no pain.

Positive experience: I was there for my 6 month check up and clean. After a 30 minute wait (the dentist was delayed in traffic so was late for the previous patient) they did my teeth check and said I was looking after my teeth really well, which I was very happy with. She then asked if I wanted the topical agent which I agreed to. The mouthguard was then inserted with the topical agent and after 5 minutes it was taken out and I could pay and go. I received examination, remove calculus and topical agent but no teeth cleaned which I thought was part of the 6month check? .Maybe my fault that I should have said something but I was quite taken aback and walked out, I felt I was rushed out to compensate for the 30 minutes delay as they tried to play catch up.

Fantastic experience: Aaron did an awesome job extracting my wisdom tooth today, talked me through the process and explained everything so well, felt calm the whole time

Fantastic experience: I went in for the removal of 2 wisdom teeth on Thursday morning & was quite nervous. As soon as I got into the practice the lady looking after me made me feel calm & well looked after. I immediately felt a lot more at ease. She even offered me her jumper because I would have gotten cold during the procedure (thanks so much❤️). The dentist and the dental nurse were also great and although one of my teeth was really hard to remove, they did an excellent job at keeping me relaxed through the whole experience. Highly recommend this dental practice as this experience and all others have been fantastic

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with a lovely female dentist for my 2 year old daughter, she was given the 5 star treatment for her first proper dentist visit and loved all the attention. She was given a clean, polish complete with a fluoride treatment and the dentist gave us some wonderful advice I 100% recommend this practice for kids!

Fantastic experience: As a 70 year old woman and having dental work since the age of 10, I had developed a great fear of Dentists, who, all my life up to 4 yrs ago did not one thing to allay this fear. That was until 4 years ago, when I set foot inside the door of Diamond Smiles Dental in Carramar. Well what an experience that was. Inside at the Reception area sat the friendliest, helpfull, most welcoming Team of woman I have ever come across. After finishing with them though, and sitting in the waiting room, the fear started to seep back in once more. What were they going to do to me today. Very shortly, I learned I was to have a filling. My fear by this time was intense. As I was led into what I had always feared, the torture room, something unusual happened. I was greeted by a smiling, very friendly face. I quickly hid my fear and sat in the dreaded chair. This was my very first experience of the Diamond Smiles Dental Clinic at Carramar. 4 years passed, and several fillings later, although I still had my fear, it was less palpable. Then a couple of weeks ago I learned I had to have some serious work done to my teeth. The fear that had began to disappear, now started back with tremdous force as I counted down the days. After what was now, the usual greeting from the Team at the front office, I was led down the corridor literally shaking inside with fear. Then I met what was the Dentist of all Dentists, Dr Gary. After greeting me with the friendliest face and manner I had ever come across, the shaking began to subside. He explained to me, what was to be quite a bit of work. As, what was the very familiar fear I had alway had, started to come back, Dr Gary began his work. He seemed to sence my fear and chatted while I sat back in the chair. Moments later I felt the numbness appear. I couldn't believe at first that he had given me an injection as I didn't feel anything. Then, as he chatted away to the nurse and I listened to the soothing music in my ears, unbelievably I started to become relaxed and it was in this blissful state, that I had my first experience in Dr Gary's room. I left the surgery in a bewildered state as I couldn't understand why I wasn't shaking with fear and telling myself I wouldn't be back. My next visit with Dr Gary, was to be a difficult extraction. As he worked his magic on me, I felt my fear start to disappear. Walking away this time, the unfamiliar feeling of relaxation began to appear. What on earth had this magician done to me. When the friendly voice of the woman in the front office the next day asked me how I was, I surprised myself when I said I had no pain and felt wonderful. Unbelievably I am actually looking forward to my next appointment in 2 weeks with Dr Gary. He has totally won me over. From now on, he will be my only Dentist. I am sticking to him like glue. I have absolutely NO hesitation in recommending this particular practice to anyone needing Dental work. Negative experience: Appalling service and the customer service was absolutely non existent, will never recommend to anyone ever!! My daughter was treated appallingly, I will never allow another family member to attend there again !! I’m regards to your response, this is not a false review, it is an honest one, I would concentrate on retraining your staff rather than trying to bully me, and you are also lying when you say you’ve ‘reached out’ because you’ve done nothing of the sort !!

Negative experience: If you want to experience the worst customer service of your life please make a booking. Have been going here for about 3 years now but either some staff changes have occurred or I’ve been lucky enough to never have met these two. I was 20 mins early to my app so was just sat chilling in reception. The entire time I was the there the older blonde receptionist berated, patronised and snapped at the other receptionist she was working with to the point I felt uncomfortable. It was very full on. 8 mins after my appointment time I asked how late they were running as I had another appointment to get to and would need to reschedule if they were much later. I was spoken to in the same manner she spoke to her colleague which was condescending and rude - she said “we’re only 8 minutes late and you were actually early to your appointment youll still be out at the same time”. I wasn’t called through. 10 past the hygienist came out and called my name. I said yes. She said is there a problem. Before I could even open my mouth the blonde receptionist said “she was complaining we were late but it had only been 8 minutes”. I explained I had kids in swimming lessons and appointments to get to and needed to reschedule if it was much later to which the hygienist responded “well I was just calling you through now but you were sat there with a face on”. I have never witnessed such horrendous attitudes, it was like dealing with a teenage brat not a professional atmosphere. If I was 10 minutes late for a client my greeting would be “Hi, I’m so sorry to keep you waiting please come through”, not “what’s the problem why do you have that face on?”. Honestly appalled. Left. Wouldn’t ever go back.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a scale and clean today, in preparation for eventual veneers. As someone who suffers from anxiety, anything involving medical surrounds are really difficult for me. Not to mention being someone who is incredibly self conscious about my teeth. Saba and Karen were absolutely wonderful. Open and honest, but also kind and non judgemental. I was put immediately at ease and that's not easy. I look forward to continuing to use Diamond Smiles Dental as my go to dentist.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this mob at all. Very unprofessional and unfriendly staff at the front desk..poor communication from dentist, quote differs from actual charge.

Positive experience: Saba was amazing!!! She was so wonderful with my kids that they cannot wait to return. Karen was very friendly and made the kids very comfortable during their appointment. Shame about the ladies at reception. They were ‘clicky’, rude and aggressive. They need a lesson in kind customer service. They definitely turned me off returning and I believe the boss needs to discuss their attitudes with them. Plus they continue to spell my name incorrectly. Very lucky the dentist was so amazing so I may not return. If the ladies, particularly the blonde older lady on the left side of the reception desk, is this rude again next time to me as a customer I will withdraw my business.

Fantastic experience: Garrie and his team are amazing, I felt so cared for during my treatment nothing was too much trouble. I had quite a bit of major dental including an Implant and was guided through the whole process with kindness and care, I am so pleased with the outcome. Fantastic experience: *Written on my own accord in absolute truth with our consultation for my little sisters braces* (This review of Carramar's Diamond Smiles Dental WILL be updated when my sister's braces comes off) TLDR: If you're getting someone you love braces go here. Truth be told I wouldn't have come here if it wasn't the closest place to where I live. I'm actually shocked how amazing their service was during our consultation. Gary was very professional when it comes to showing us options for my sister's (Angela) current situation with her teeth. I found it amazing when he showed us the future projection of what Angela's teeth could look like after the braces. I really appreciated how Dr Gary was stringent when it comes to Angela. He highlighted what needs to be done in terms of daily dental care when the braces are fitted to ensure BEST outcome. It really opened up our eyes when it comes to our dental hygiene not to mention he's just a really cool guy that genuinely cares for you. I don't think anywhere else north metropolitan Perth offer's his level of excellence. Speaking of excellence. Reia. Oh boy. I came in worrying about how much it will cost, about when my APPOINTMENT was, follow up appointments a whole bunch of stuff really. She came in and made every step. EASY. Her warm smile and polite tone really made me feel at ease. I really hope of you're reading this to the end that is. That you'd have the same pleasure I had with her. She doesn't have pretend customer service skills she has client care at the core of her. Yes braces are expensive. Because of the efforts of Dr Gary and Reia! I suspect I'll go here for all my family's needs and not just my own. Thank you Gary and Reia for all of your efforts they won't go unnoticed by me. P.S. Fantastic experience: Great first experience at Diamond Smiles in Carramar. After moving into the area I knew it was time to find a local dentist. Dental assistant Lorena was very bubbly and kind for my early morning appointment. I am very happy with my clean and wasn’t sitting in the chair too long. Office ladies upon entry were also very vibrant and welcoming.
