Negative experience: Avoid!! Not only does it has dodgy billing practice and I also had a bad outcome. The website says cleaning is 219$ but if you have health fund coverage they will reduce your limit by $439. They dont mention the extra $220 cost on website or in the clinic. When complained I got a response to the effect saying its coming from the health fund why does it matter. After pursuing the matter they did refund the excess charge. I also had a bad outcome on the refilling done by the dentist - Dr. Bernice. At that time, the dentist pointed out that it preventative but at this point I wonder if it was really required. Will never visit.

Saw Dr Bernice who straight away made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She truely was amazing, skilful and gentle. Didn't even realise she had even extracted the tooth. Walked out a happy sole.

Negative experience: Over the past 8 years, we visited twice a year as a family. To be fair, the dentist service is good, and the dentists are quite friendly. However, the customer service and receptionist services are very disappointing recently. Despite booking in advance, double confirmed time,a few times our appointments were missed just one day ahead. I don’t understand what is wrong with your SOP, and I assume your booking software is well-paid. This time, the booking staff was rude and unprofessional. Good luck.

Fantastic experience: By pure good luck I stumbled across this dental practice (honestly, I had booked into the one across the road!). But sometimes serendipity smiles on me! Dr John was my dentist, and he handled me with such a calm and professional, gentle manner (I really hate any kind of dental anything lol!). John picked up on that level of neurosis and was wonderfully gentle and pragmatic. It is rare that one instantly trusts a dentist. But that was what happened. I am actually looking forward to the next step in my dental plan (that avoidance of dentistry means a lot needs to be done). Unfortunately Dr John is moving on, but if you are like me and have read every single review on this practice, every single dentist gets rave reviews! When does that ever happen (any poor reviews were bogus or in error). If you forced me to make a constructive criticism, that would be for the surgery to invest in better signage. It really is tucked away behind a Vietnamese eatery (the food there is yummy btw lol), and rushed, stressed patients like me get lost. Twice. The lovely receptionist had to come and rescue me and I felt like a dottery old man. I’m not. Truly. :))) Edit: these guys are SMART! Just noticed this little clip to help locate their business. Fantastic experience: I was in need of a new private local dental practice, when my prior one dropped the ball a bit during the pandemic. Unfortunately a small amount of a composite filling recently broke off on a bottom right tooth that has had all sorts of trauma since the age of 12, from braces to you know what. I had no idea that a dental procedure restoring that tooth with CEREC technology with Dr Vincent would be so life changing. That, in addition to getting a nice clean prior. It was a shame that they did not floss my teeth at the hygiene appointment prior to this operation; yet that does not matter now. This operation (and the hygiene clean a few days prior) has completely transformed my teeth and smile; and has also increased my self confidence. All of my teeth feel brand new, and from the surgery, it feels like every tooth has shifted a few centimetres in my mouth, including all four of my wisdom teeth. My teeth feel even more amazing now, and my recovery from the procedure of that newly restored tooth went faster than anticipated. Shame that dentistry is not covered partially or in full on Medicare; however my two recent visits here were well worth the money. Although this transformation is now coming with some challenges (lost some friends, and making some new ones, plus a pending career pivot to name); I never knew that a scary dental procedure would go better than expected, and be so life changing and relaxing. Credit to the nurses x 2 who looked after me, and the receptionist who allowed me to move my appointment forward a week for this operation, due to a sudden change in circumstances. This also allowed me to relax and eat whatever I wanted at a business conference last weekend, as at the time of writing. Thank you ever so much team.

Fantastic experience: I attended this practice as a first time patient for an emergency appointment to treat a broken tooth when my regular dentist of 10+ years couldn't help me for more than a week! I was treated with the utmost professionalism by all staff from start to finish. Dr Vincent Cheung fully explained my options/risks & then clearly explained each step of the process I chose to fill/re-build the tooth. He achieved the outcome we hoped for with minimal discomfort during the procedure and no ongoing pain in more than 3 days which suggests that it will endure. I have no hesitation in recommending this practice. Thanks folks!

Negative experience: Two weeks ago I went in for a clean and saw Dr J Nguyen. He is rude and unprofessional. We discussed removing my wisdom teeth and the impact it would have on the 4 years of orthodontic work I’ve had and my retainer. He said condescending things like, “Your teeth aren’t all that straight”. “You had braces in your 30s?”I explained my personal dental situation to him and he went back and forth to tell me he’s never encountered or heard of such case . I will never ever go to him. (Two stars only because I’ve seen Dr Damian who is polite respectful and professional.)

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this practice for some time. Fiona at reception welcomes me with efficiency & a smile. Yesterday I had my first “clean” with Lily who was efficient, effective, fast and assured me every step of the way of what was happening. After the clean Lily showed my photographic progress on computer & explained what my dentist Mark Nighe would be checking on. I am very satisfied with the professional treatment I receive.

Negative experience: I have been going to this practice for almost a decade now. Today has made me question whether I continue going here. Showed up to an appointment that was confirmed the day before. The only thing out of ordinary was that the dentist didn’t show up due to a management / leadership issues. There were no offers for compensation for the time wasted to show up to my appointment nor making another appointment with another dentist available the same day. Extremely disappointed with this experience. I would recommend contacting the dentist you are seeing directly to see if they are actually going to be coming in the day of your appointment. Didn’t even see a dentist and I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: THE SERVICE AT THIS PRACTICE IS EXCEPTIONAL AND I CANNOT PRAISE THEM ENOUGH. I’ve used many other dental practices on the lower north shore but North Sydney Dentistry is head and shoulders above all others. I’ve been using them for the last 3 years and always found them to be caring, attentive and professional with excellent service. Each procedure I’ve had was fully explained and all my questions and concerns answered before proceeding. There equipment is new with the latest technology. I’ve also found their prices to be lower than most other practices but still offering the highest quality of service. Finally I would like to specifically recommend Dr Vincent Cheung. I recently needed an emergency filling, Vincent was fully booked for the day however he and his team stayed back after hours in order to treat me. Truely outstanding commitment
