Fantastic experience: Unbelievable! I am gobsmacked! I just had a tooth extraction with Dr. GAN and I am still stunned as to how quick and precise it went. The application of the numbing cream and anaesthetic took longer than the actual extraction! When he said, “it’s out” I was in disbelief. I thought he was kidding but I saw my tooth and I said, you are a god! That’s absolutely amazing!!! With my mouth still hanging, I was overjoyed! I have been dreading this visit for months, and now I realized I was worried for nothing! Thank you so much Dr GAN for looking after me so well, putting me at ease and hearing out my concerns. After my consultation and throughout the entire process, Dr Gan and his team have honestly been so incredible and easy to work with. Over the proceeding months, Dr Kevin Lai created a plan to rectify my considerable dental issues which involved a rebuild of 16 teeth. The end result is nothing short of astounding and is an absolute credit to the skill and precision of Dr Kevin and the wonderful team at Chesterville Dental. And whilst I now revel in having a new smile courtesy of the Chesterville Dental team, I am honestly looking forward to my next dental appointments and continuing the journey with the team.

Fantastic experience: Dr Thusheka has completely rebuilt my teeth, following 30 years or bad habits and gum disease. We put together a treatment plan and carried out 5 2hr sessions to complete (Having a few laughs along the way) I have walked out today, with what I call a successful outcome and a wider smile. Fantastic experience: I have had to see Dr Gan on two special occasions and both times I had issues my other dentists could not identify not to mention fixing. I had also referred my partner to Dr Gan’s dental clinic and he was more than happy with the service and result he received. Though there are lots of dental clinics available in my local areas, unfortunately many only go as far as general clean-ups and the results are unknown until issues arise. This is why I would rather drive more than two hours to see Dr Gan in particular. I genuinely think he is thorough, professional, informative, and compassionate, and in fact his whole team is efficient and friendly and I would recommend this clinic to anyone seeking high standard dental care.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Dr Matthew - so professional, so caring, so great with kids! (even that kind who are terrified with tools and sounds). Like every other parent in Bentleigh East, we used to go to the dentist on Centre Rd - well no more! I have been surprised and thrilled and impressed with Chesterville Dental. The whole place had been purpose built, it’s so clean, well appointed, staff are so friendly, and the dentist is wonderful with kids! Did I also explain that you can book online? So you don’t have to do that thing where you call, and you have to check your calendar in parallel when they offer a slot, and you have to make decision in that moment as to whether you can move your other meeting. Oh also as a post visit, they give the kids a bag I can only describe as a “party bag”, with stickers, certificate and a toothbrush. A bit over the top but oh well the kids love it.

I had multiple infected teeth which needed extractions, RCT restorations and a denture for front and side broken teeth. Dr Kevin was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain everything in detail, which really put me at ease. The staff was friendly, and the clinic was sparkling. I have been to many other dental places in the past but I feel so lucky to finally find such a fantastic place. Fantastic experience: Been for multiple procedures now- honestly thought I'd already left a review but shame on me for not because these guys deserve it. From the reception staff (most patient, friendly, easy to talk to humans) through to the dentists - Dr Gan and Dr Matt - just amazing humans. All procedures clearly explained in technical and layman's terms, all costs broken down, fluidity of moving things around because of my works hectic schedule, and just a ridiculously gentle and good natured presence when in their chair. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a single soul except to maybe keep it quiet enough that I can keep getting appointments. Their new office is also boss as hell, extremely calming upgrade from the house office. Fancy but modest. 10/10 heading back in 3 months for more.

Fantastic experience: I’ve be seeing Dr Gan for several years and I have never had a better dental care since my Mum, also a dentist, passed away. I had several serious procedures, including implants, performed by Dr Gan and I was always impressed by his professionalism, caring advice and follow up. His staff is also very efficient, courteous and helpful. The new clinic at East Boundary Road is just an icing on the cake as it’s closer to home.

I love that Dr Thusheka takes photos of my teeth and gives enough time to explain what she’s done during the appointment. Recently, my little one (only 6 years old) has cavity on a few teeth. It is her first time to have teeth filling so she was so nervous and reluctant to do the filling at clinic. Negative experience: I've been going to Chesterville Dental for a couple of years now and all was rather OK until today when I got a crown. Unfortunately, the colour of the crown doesn't match my other teeth which is very disappointing :-(. I'm also very upset that the colour wasn't consulted with me before the crown was made. I would have never chosen the colour that doesn't match :-(. For an almost $2000 job it's very disappointing :-(.

He treated her with such respect, explained all so clearly & was very aware & caring re her angst. I immediately converted & became another of his patients. I'm so happy with all the work I've had done - no more old amalgam fillings showing when I smile/ laugh. Dr Gan is very knowledgeable and has communicated well the things involved when i had my implants - no question is a silly question for him. Fantastic experience: My mum has been going to Chesterville Dental for a few years now. Dr Jasmine has been amazing with her - incredibly professional, very friendly and with a calming bedside manner. Mum says Dr Jasmine has the most gentle hands she has come across in any dental office. The office staff have always been very friendly and we have been really impressed with the follow up service. Fantastic experience: Over the past year I have had extremely sore and inflamed gums, and after visiting three different dental clinics, Dr. Gan was the only dentist who was able to diagnose the root of the problem. Yesterday he repaired my six front teeth with the assistance of Chloe Rose and they did an impeccable job. Not only was I kept updated on the process throughout the procedure but the precision and dedication to my oral health was amazing. I could not recommend them enough. All the receptionists are also welcoming and warm before and after the procedure ❤️

Dr Gan, Dr Jasmine and Dr Amy they have great attention to detail and have shown great care to my teeth, even if that means spending extra time to answer my questions. Dr Gan has been my family dentist for over 10 years now. The team has cordial service, friendly follow up calls, and when I left my doctors certificate behind they emailed me without me asking (thanks Jodie and Chloe). I couldn't be happier with the service.

As a new patient, he took the time to do a thorough initial consultation and assessment with me to gain a better understanding of my dental history. He then took the time to explain what he found and was able to show me exactly what he was talking about as he took several pictures of my teeth! At no point did the appointment feel rushed, which is what I have experienced at other clinics. I would highly recommend Dr Gan for all your dental needs!

Fantastic experience: Completed sure smile aligner treatment with Dr. Gan. I was really happy with the outcome and found the team to be professional and friendly throughout the 2 years. Dr. Gan was even able to have my aligner buttons removed and put back on for my wedding with no issues.

The receptionists were very customer focused, very friendly, answered all my questions, kept me informed and followed up after the appointment to check if I was satisfied. Dr Kevin was very thorough during check up, very patient and provided a lot of information. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kevin and his whole team were thoroughly welcoming and understanding when we attended the clinic. They were respectful to both of my children and explained everything in detail, allowed plenty of time for questions and were very accommodating of my son who has previously had very bad experiences with dentists elsewhere. Before discussing sensitive issues they asked to speak in private so my children were not involved. I really appreciated how genuinely positive they all made the experience for our family.
