Fantastic experience: Yesterday I attended Bella Dental for my first ever crown. I was blown away at the technology used to create it in the same day. Dr Alfred and his staff were amazing. Coming from someone who is scared of the dentist!

Fantastic experience: I have taken my kids (now 3 and 6) to this practice for about 3 years at least now. The kids always have a positive experience from the fun glasses, to the tv, to the nice service and they always leave with a smile. So patient and understanding with kids. I myself have my checkups there and they are so great with making me relaxed and always understanding throughout the whole experience. I always recommend these guys to friends and families because they always great with a smile and make you feel special. update: i just had a filling replaced (had since i was 14). Oh my goodness from beginning to end Dr Tao and team were amazing. Amazing technique and so gentle and understanding checking on me throughout the procedure. Absolutely amazing!

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Dr Alfred highly enough I was insanely scared of the dentist for most of my life (50yrs) and honestly waited 9 years between visits due to being so anxious. I have now had about 8 visits no anxiety all. AND I actually look forward to my check ups. All the staff are amazing reception, dental nurses and dentists make you feel welcomed, informed and at ease. Thank you .

Fantastic experience: What a great experience! When my 12-year-old son had to have teeth extracted, they cared not just for him, but also for his nervous parents! All went smoother than expected, but we even got a call that night to check everything was fine. Very positive experience and their care - as well as their technical expertise - made all the difference.

I’ll never forget when my daughter was five and had a very overwhelming situation due to having to get her tooth removed, and unfortunately this was her first ever visit to the dentist. The bella dental team went above and beyond to ensure my little girl was not frightened and that she stayed calm. They also made an emergency appointment rapidly ,which I will never forget. Those are just some little memories over the past four years with the Bella dental team. Negative experience: I visited Bella Dental a couple of years ago seeking a second opinion on my sons dental care as I was having some anxiety around the treatment we had been receiving elsewhere and wanted reassurance that we were receiving good quality care, especially as I was spending a lot. I was appalled by the experience. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that Dr. Wan had an attitude of being above everyone else. He was extremely condescending and dismissive throughout the examination and at the end of the appointment told me we weren't the kind of clients they wanted. The way I was spoken to was completely undeserved and I would not recommend Dr Wan to anyone seeking a respectful and professional dental experience. They now send me texts regularly reminding me to come in for check ups even though I have called and asked not to receive them.

Fantastic experience: The whole team at Bella Dental Penrith are amazing!!! They make you feel so welcome every time you walk in. Communication is clear and simple and on point. Like most people I’m not a fan of being in a dentist chair, I had my teeth fixed after many years of not looking after them as well as I should have, Geoff is a master and magician, made me smile again. His work is 2nd to none! So glad I chose the team at Bella dental, can’t recommend them high enough!

Fantastic experience: If you are anxious about going to the dentist then Bella Dental is place to go. You will be made welcome from the wonderful reception staff. I have been going here for about 5 years and although I am older I was still very anxious. Dr Geoff is an amazing dentist he will explain everything to you and answer all of your questions. Sit back relax and listen to your favourite music as your procedure is underway. The dental assistants are lovely and help with getting you to relax. I have now had a number of procedures with DrGeoff and I can honestly say I no longer get anxious. Once you find someone you can put your trust in the fear subsides. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend a better dental practice in the area. From the moment I made the phone call, with Anita assisting with an urgent appointment, to Dr Geoff Wan & his Dental Assistant Lee making the process and appointment itself as calming as possible for someone who was extremely anxious - providing urgent care and knowledge unique to my situation, to having Julie & Tori assisting with my end experience including assisting with an issue to do with my private health insurer and going above and beyond to rectify that, I will absolutely return to Bella Dental. Fantastic experience: Early years of dentist visits had filled me with dreadful and painful experiences. It's no exaggeration that Geoff restored my faith in dentists. His work is top class and he takes time to explain the situation. No, not totally painless. It is dental work, after all, but a mild discomfort and with no pain means I'll see him again.

Fantastic experience: This is a very well run dental practice! It is so clean and inviting and I had the pleasure of dealing with Dr Geoff Wan, who was very informative during treatment and aftercare was very professional!! The girls on the front desk always keep you updated and SMS reminders for each appointment. Highly recommend for all your dental needs!!

Negative experience: I came to this practice with bearable dental discomfort only to spend a little over an hour with my tooth being worked on and charged almost $700 and then the next 4 days and nights in excruciating pain! When I called the final time I said I can’t wait anymore I couldn’t bear the pain anymore, they told me they would have to extract the tooth and it would cost about $400-450! I went to another dentist who charged me $150 took 20mins and got instant relief. Apparently my nerve was exposed that entire time and that’s why o was in so much pain. Unfortunately, this place is after the $$$ and not the care of patients!

Negative experience: When Dr Sundin retired the practice was taken over by Bella dental. While the dentists and staff are all very nice, I have had a re-enameled tooth’s’ enamel come off with a month and the ‘fixed’ enamel is now mm shorted than the other teeth ‘so it doesn’t touch the lower tooth and break off again. A crown has now come off 4 times in a year. They are supposed to last 10 years and I was not chewing anything hard - chocolate, a snake (kooky) and flossing. So not happy.

From booking my visit over the phone, to filling in the digital forms on arrival as a first time patient and the appointment itself was easy and professional. Dr Geoff Wan made sure to explain everything in detail during the consultation and I was taken away by the fact they even had a 3D Xray machine on-site so it really was a one stop shop! A great overall experience starting from the professionalism and friendliness of the front desk, the dentist and assistants made for a memorable experience! Fantastic experience: I had broken my tooth the night before calling Bella Dental Penrith. I called them around 10am and I was lucky enough to fit my emergency appt in at 12pm. When I arrived the staff were super friendly, and my dentist and his assistant were also wonderful! I was quite anxious as I hadn’t been to the dentist in a very long time. They made me feel comfortable and no judgement for how my teeth were. Just positivity, calmness and beautiful care. I’m definitely coming back here for all my follow ups and work because they left a great impression on me. Also, the filling has worked a treat so far and I’m super happy I wasn’t pushed into any further intrusive work. 10/10

Fantastic experience: Can’t thank Dr Alfred Tao enough! I originally came to him for a second opinion (after my original dentist told me I needed root canal). Alfred took a different approach, filling holes with more permanent fillings instead. Like most people, I’m nervous at dentists – but he is always so patient with me. And when I know I’m going in for a procedure that I just won’t be able to mentally prepare for, I opt for the happy gas. When I eventually do need root canal, I’ll choose to have IV sedation at the clinic. So many options to help with my anxiety! The nurses and reception staff are super-friendly too – it’s like a little family.

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Bella Dental. I was quite anxious about visiting the dentist but can definitely say that those anxious feelings have gone away since stepping foot into Bella Dental. I am welcomed each time I go in there by the team at the front desk. Julie and Brooke are always so warm and welcoming and make you feel so welcomed. I can’t speak highly enough of Ayla and Alfred. Ayla made me feel extremely relaxed and comfortable and she was also amazing with my daughter too. The fact that the founder of Bella Dental Geoff knows his clients names and greets them whenever you walk in is incredible. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Negative experience: Shocked by these 5 star ratings, there is absolutely no way they’re real! Dr Tao is the rudest dentist I’ve met, extremely money hungry and arrogant. Their prices are high with the services being low. Save your time and money by going elsewhere. Do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Geoff enough for the BRILLIANT dental work he has done!! He has given me my smile back with bioclear and along with that my confidence! I didn't actually realise before having bioclear done, the level of skill, patience and attention to detail the procedure required. Geoff did such an amazing job and he has completely transformed my teeth and they now look fabulous! From the first point of contact Geoff and Tori ( and the team) were so kind and genuine, and very accomodating considering I was originally from Qld. After relocating to the mid north coast, I drove 6 hours to get to the clinic. It was absolutely the right decision and wouldn't hesitate doing it again if needed. Geoff has a lovely bedside manner, making sure I was comfortable at all times. He is very easy going and has a great sense of humour which made the appointment very enjoyable! I needed braces and a few teeth pulled out, and even though I didn’t enjoy the experience of braces, I absolutely love the out come. Fantastic experience: I was in pain and it was my first visit at Bella Dental Penrith today. All staff members were very kind and caring. They went through the procedure very well and explained it to me so then I could understand. The receptionist actually took the time to understand my concerns. I have been scared of the dentist for years, and this practice has made my fear go away. I have been to multiple dentists and none of them have worked out as well as Bella Dental have. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment today with Dr. Alfred Tao and his lovely assistant Anastasia. Went in not really knowing if I would have to have a wisdom tooth removed or not, being 29 weeks pregnant with a history of panic attacks I was so nervous. Dr Tao and Anastasia were beyond amazing. Sat with me and did everything I needed to help me through my panic attack without rushing me. Once I calmed down and the procedure started it was over within 10mins, pain free with constant reassurance from both Dr Tao and Anastasia. I highly recommend Bella Dental. I can’t forget to mention how lovely and kind the reception girls are!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at Bella for a number of years and have always had a positive experience. Geoff was so awesome when I had a dental emergency to fit me in and make sure I was A-OK. Alya has always been amazing with my young daughter who loves coming back to see her. The front office staff are always friendly and welcoming. We are moving out of the area in the next couple of months but will we continue to come back to Bella for our dental appointments.

Geoff was exceptional at making myself feel comfortable (previous dental appointments, at other practices, have literally induced panic attacks). The results were phenomenonal! Far exceeded my expectations (my front two top teeth were horrible, fillings and rot, I love smiling but have avoided doing so to avoid embarrassment). These are now my nicest looking teeth, and I'm so excited to continue with scope of works! I couldn't recommend Bella Dental enough and especially Dr Geoffrey Wan. Also, awesome positive vibes from all! ✨️

Fantastic experience: Friendly and helpful staff in great facility. Awesome with kids and making sure they feel comfortable in what can be an anxious experience. My whole family has all had work done here and even though they are reasonably priced, their interest free payment plan option can certainly help in the current economic climate. 5 stars- would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Bella Dental Penrith are such a warm welcoming group of staff members. I cannot thank them enough for their service. I had an extremely painful/infected wisdom tooth. I did not have a dentist in which I could see, so I emailed their service after hearing good feedback at the Hospital I work at. Bella Dental immediately contacted me after I emailed them explaining my pain. They saw me that day to help remove the tooth. I was greeted very professionally and friendly by all staff including the owner that even knew my name on entry. If you could ever say it was a good experience to get a wisdom tooth out, this was it. The team explained everything well, demonstrated with X-rays and visuals on what I would expect. The removal was actually not very painful at all. The team kept asking me how I was feeling throughout the whole procedure and reassuring me, as they knew I was anxious. I even returned to work an hour after the procedure and finished my work day! Bella Dental gave me an aftercare pack even with some soup and jelly to help me out. I really appreciated again the calm, positive and nice staff. I even got politely led out by the dentist herself. I strongly as you can see recommend this service. I have had a lot of orthodontic and Dental work and seen a few dentists over the years but Bella Dental Penrith, were by far the cleanest, friendly and professional staff i have come across. They could not have been more helpful with a fast prompt plan to help me out and also doing it so professionally. I definitely will continue to have my Dental care at this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I drove out to Penrith, from Botany, to attend Bella Dental because of poor experiences with a local dentist and also because of the positive reviews I’d heard about this clinic. I’ll now be making this trip out West a regular one based on my experience here. Dr Rachael was extremely professional, thorough and empathetic in her treatment. Julie the Practice Manager was excellent in facilitating my transition from my previous dental clinic to Bella and is a wonderful human being. Principal Dentist Dr Geoff also made me feel comfortable here by personally introducing himself and welcoming me to his practice. Tori the Front Office Coordinator was lovely and very good with the admin side of things. All-round a top shelf Dental Practice!

Fantastic experience: Bella Dental is an amazing dental surgery. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and welcome you with a smile. I see one of the hygienists Ayla (unsure of spelling sorry) for my regular teeth cleans. She’s very friendly, knowledgeable and makes me feel at ease (going to the dentist makes me anxious!). Ayla always explains what she is doing and my teeth always feel so clean when I leave! Would definitely recommend Bella Dental!

Fantastic experience: Walked in a terrified patient facing the prospect of losing a tooth and walked out happy, confident and with all my teeth. Dr Alfred Tao and his amazing dental assistant (I feel terrible for forgetting her name) made me feel safe and comfortable and kept me informed as they worked. Bella Dental truly is the best dentists in Penrith.

Negative experience: Was in complete shock after my appointment. Just before going in for my dental appointment and as I went to get my 5mth old out of the car she was covered in blood and found it was because she ripped her gum open. I asked the receptionist if it would be possible to ask advice from the dentist on what cream I can use as most gum creams for babies are for 6mths plus and must be under medical advise for anyone younger. NO one touched my daughters mouth I put her on my lap and opened her mouth myself and showed the area that was bleeding. After a google search they told me what cream to use then gave me a bill of $77. After questioning the bill we later received a phone call from the practice manager saying that they have to bill because they don’t want to lose their license and how highly recommended the practice is. Not a response I would expect when no one touch my daughters mouth and after a google search to advise me what to use.

Fantastic experience: Although I was there to have a wisdom tooth extracted, it was a wonderful experience. I had barely any pain in the days following the procedure unlike the last time I had had the same procedure done elswhere. The staff are experienced and caring. They followed up with me the next day to make sure I was OK. Would highly recommend to anyone especially If your a little nervous about dental work

Fantastic experience: The best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, having a nice chat while i waited , updating me on the expected wait. Dr Tao (Alfred) was incredibly clear and concise with his instructions and information. He explained everything to me in a way that was not complicated nor condescending. I was nervous as it had been a long time since I last saw a dentist. Alfred checked in with me throughout my procedure to make sure I was alright and gave me notice on what sensations I may feel. Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic service and easy to deal with. I have had a loose and decaying wisdom tooth for going on 12 months and finally decided to do something about it. It was the first time I had been to a dentist in over 25 years and had the tooth removed. Cant thank the team at Bella Dental in South Penrith enough. After a day from having the tooth removed I have no pain at all and it was/is an absolute relief. In short if you are in doubt about going to a dentist, please take it from me I was scared about going but knew something had to be done. Please go and see the awesome team at Bella Dental. Fantastic experience: What a great experience, numbing gel worked a treat didn’t feel any needles going in. DR and nurse did some great work making me feel comfortable. They had this mouth guard thingy, to prevent sore jaw first time seeing this being used. Been to my regular HCF dentist bloody like butcher compared to the medical care received today.
