Positive experience: I recently visited Prevent Dental Suite and was thoroughly impressed by Dr. Jigar and his team. After weeks of throbbing pain, I needed a root canal treatment (RCT). Fantastic experience: Dr.Jigar is a miracle worker. I have severe dental anxiety. But my visit to this practice was excellent. I received two fillings, no needles and no pain. It was a huge relief to find a dentist who knows what they are doing!

Negative experience: I took my child to this clinic for a scheduled dental appointment.Unfortunately, there was an issue with Medicare at the time, which temporarily showed that my son was not eligible for dental benefits. The clinic required me to pay out-of-pocket — a total of $330 — with the assurance that the amount would be refunded once the Medicare eligibility was resolved. Two days later, after confirming with Medicare that my son was indeed eligible again, I contacted the clinic to request the refund. The receptionist gave me two options: I could either come in person and they would refund it to my card, or they could transfer it via bank transfer. I chose the bank transfer. That’s where the frustration began. Despite multiple follow-ups over the week — calling on Monday, Tuesday, and again on Friday — I received vague and inconsistent responses. I was repeatedly told that the main dentist had my bank details and would process the refund “that day.” But nothing showed up in my account. Each time I called, I had to remind them again, with no clear communication or sense of urgency from their end. Finally, on Friday afternoon (12th day), after I said I would file a dispute if the refund didn’t come through, the receptionist put me on hold and then casually told me (while laughing) that the dentist had just processed the refund right then and there — a full week after I was told it would be done. While I understand that clinics can be busy, this situation was handled poorly and unprofessionally. I was patient and cooperative, but I felt dismissed and not taken seriously, especially when I was told that refunding my money — which they had promised — was simply “on the dentist’s to-do list.” I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously and improves their communication and refund process. Patients, especially parents, deserve transparency and timely service when it comes to financial matters.

Fantastic experience: This is a great practice. They first saw me in an emergency and though I was not an existing patient, they fitted me in. Over the past 2 years I have seen 3 dentists here, and I’ve been impressed with the care I’ve received from each of them. Karen in reception is welcoming and friendly. She is the heart of the place and makes sure that everything works exactly as it should. I’m currently seeing Jess. She is a dentist that listens and goes the extra mile to treat not just your oral care needs, but you as a patient. They do not overbook and so the waiting room is usually quiet and the wait time has never been very long. I highly recommend this practice.

(Who uses a walking frame and also has somewhat of a speech impediment) the team at Prevent Dental have been very helpful in meeting his needs and are always very pleasant to deal with on his behalf as well as my own. Positive experience: I had accidentally booked here instead of my usual dentist. It has been through several owners over the years and previous owners had been very pushy. These guys were not which was good and I cannot complain about service or professionalism. My issue - and I guess my own fault was not asking costs up front and assuming it would be like my current dentist. I asked for a filling that had fallen out to be filled. When the bill came there were charges for an oral exam (which I didn’t ask for) - xray (I wrongly assumed was in the price) and filling. 20mins in there - no need for needle to numb and came in over $400. Ouch.

Fantastic experience: My friend and I have visited this clinic for cleaning and a tooth implant. Modern equipment and tools. l must say that Dr Jessie is friendly, patient and very knowledgeable about the issues. Dr Patel, the staff are all approachable, professional that you feel you are a priority to them. You walk in and they immediately stop what they are doing and greet you. I highly recommend this service because it’s the only one that has the best service in my experience. Keep up the great work!

Dr Patel is a quiet, gentle man who listens patiently and empathetically to me and answers all my questions and concerns. He has the big job of fixing up the mess that a different practice made in my mouth. I am very fortunate that Dr Patel made himself available to help when the other practice wasn’t. Extra grateful for the Nitrous. The desk staff are lovely and the dental nurse, Lou, is a lovely happy person that also helps contribute to a welcoming and understanding environment.

Negative experience: Edit 2: Prevent Dental Suite has called again and informed me that they had made attempts to forward the information regarding the surgery to the specialist clinic via phone call. Apparently they have had issues contacting the specialist clinic. They informed me that they do not send information about relevant surgeries or emergencies on the referral and instead relay that information seperately, as every referral they make is an emergency, so it is not needed. I was also informed that they had miscommunicated with me earlier and will not compensate the cost of the surgery with the specialist clinic, and are instead willing to refund my original exam fee. I'm not sure why this is, as my original exam had no issues. My doctor at prevent dental suite acknowledged over the phone that he should check in with patients to ensure that an appointment was made in a timely manner, as it was assumed I would be treated within 2 weeks of my surgery with prevent dental suite Prevent Dental Suite are still looking into the breakdown of communication Edit: I have just been called and notified that by Prevent Dental Suite I may be compensated for the clinic costs of the tooth that was operated on - will keep this updated I went in for a wisdom tooth removal; now booked in for a next day, $5200 emergency surgery at a private hospital In an attempt to remove my wisdom tooth, they removed a portion of gum and jawbone behind the tooth, however were not able to extract the tooth and instead stitched me back up I was referred to a specialist clinic and sent home with a care sheet for a *successful extraction* and a single gauze to stop the bleeding I understand the surgery was complex and am thankful they did not proceed once they had realised it was not as simple as they had thought. However, in their referral they did not include *ANY* relevant information. There was no information about what had occurred or even that a surgery was attempted, as far as the specialist clinic was aware, they had only inspected the tooth and referred me This lead to me being put on the waiting list for over a month after the failed surgery, only after calling the specialist clinic and explaining the situation myself they booked me in for an examination within 4 days, instead of the original month I would have waited otherwise During the examination, the specialist determined what Prevent Dental Suite had done to my mouth would not heal by itself and needed an emergency surgery, and moved me to the front of a 2 month wait list to get it done tomorrow, my tooth was not an urgent issue before now I understand there can be complications during surgery, however for such a serious issue, it is inexcusable that I was not treated with the proper level of care proceeding the failed operation

Fantastic experience: More and more people are finding it difficult to afford going to the Dentist and we are in that situation - we are aged Pensioners and we rely on Health Care Card to be able to access help with cavities etc.. I had to get an Emergency Voucher with a broken front tooth and thankfully I got one and I went to Prevent Dental Suite who are extremely respectful and kind to patients with vouchers, not like some others who can be a bit disrespectful and to my shock another local Dentist has only one Dentist who will accept Voucher holders - it's very difficult. I as a child was totally traumatised by a Dentist who was a brute and actually belted me in the face because i went to run away because he was hurting me - I wish my mother had have taken action against him, he was dreadful and that scared and scarred me for life. I've seen numerous Dentists over my Lifetime, but at this visit (my first visit) I found them to be extremely kind and respectful and the Dentist was 'as gentle as a kitten' - he never hurt me - he listened carefully to me when I said =other Dentists hurt like heck with the needle and they are not anaethetising it properly as I am feeling the shocking pain making me jump off the chair - I was further traumatised at a previous dentist I went to, she had me jumping out of the chair because she did not anaesthetise my gums properly and it was hurting like crazy - she reprimanded me and didn't care - so I am extremely thankful to Prevent Dental Suite for their wonderful and TRUE PAIN FREE DENTISTRY and I hope they never change - because I never want to go to any other Dentist for me or my family. My husband Ray, has had serious multiple cancer surgeries and then developed Parkinson's Disease and Prevent Dental Suite were lovely, kind and patient with him so I never want to take him to any other Dental place - so I pray we can still get the vouchers from MNOHS as this takes a huge amount of stress off me and him. Fantastic experience: Had to book an appointment for a filling. I was able to get in that same day and the whole process was really quick and easy to get through. I was given the option about whether I'd like numbing and since I chose not to, I've just had the thing put in and I'm already free to start eating again. Fantastic experience: I had to have a wisdom tooth removed. I generally never visit a dentist twice due to bad experiences but ill definitely come back here. On entering the receptionist was kind and caring. The assistant was friendly. But Dr Patel instantly put me at ease. He was calming, gentle and I honestly didn't feel a thing. Fantastic experience: Prevent Dental in Kallangur is great. Would definitely recommend. Especially Dr Patel. Quickest tooth (wisdom) removal I’ve had - In and out in 20 minutes! All the staff are kind and comforting, making sure you’re okay every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth removed. It was the quickest and easiest tooth removal ever. This included X-rays and a teeth scan.The dentist showed me the results on the tv screen. This is amazing technology. I was able to after-pay the bill, but it was not that expensive. I would recommend this dental surgery.

Fantastic experience: Every dental experience I have had previously has been painful and traumatic so I have been putting off going to the dentist for quite a while. Yesterday I broke a tooth and knew I couldn't put it off any longer. I have driven past Prevent Dental Suite at Kallangur on numerous occasions but just couldn't so I Googled Dentists near me and after reading their reviews I finally made an appointment and can I say I am glad I did. I was super nervous but found everyone I spoke to or dealt with to be very caring, calming, reassuring and friendly and Dr Krish just fixed my problem tooth.... well it was the gentlest experience in a dentists I have ever had and I left with the feeling a huge weight had been lifted. I am not one to recommend anything but I definetly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: Been seeing Dr Krish for several months to rectify years of neglect. He is a fantastic dentist with expert knowledge and great care. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He was able to save a tooth another dentist said would either be a root canal or extraction. Will be back for all my future dental needs. Keep up the great work

Fantastic experience: No one likes going to the dentist. When I moved to the area I was nervous about finding a local dentist. The staff at Prevent Dental Suite were welcoming and friendly. Dr Krish was gentle, professional and explained each procedure as he worked on my teeth. I have since been back for other dental work and I’m happy with the results. The prices were reasonable and my anxiety about going to the dentist is no longer a problem.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mamatha and the team are true professionals, I took my mom who was in so much pain to prevent dental suite . They provide fantastic customer service and great treatment to ensure you get the best possible result at cheaper price compared to my previous dentist. I’m sure if it wasn’t for their excellent care and attention to detail. I wouldn’t have saved my mums teeth . She is so happy and pain free. I cannot praise them enough. Gald I now found my dentist for my family for rest of our lives. Highly recommended!!

Negative experience: Fastest check up and clean I’ve ever had. Friendly staff, but it felt like I was in and out way too quickly for a normal check up and clean. I had an x-ray which was included in the first time patient offer, they told me after reviewing the x-rays I needed two fillings which would’ve costed me $460. The prices were very high, so I looked for alternative options and found another place that quoted me $390 for the same procedure. I’ve just left the other dentist and they gave me x-rays to double check where I needed the fillings. It turns out I don’t need any fillings whatsoever, so I’ll never return to Prevent Dental Suite as I don’t trust the dentists there. Going elsewhere and double checking Prevent Dental Suites opinion saved me nearly $500, as I had no pain in the “affected” area.

Fantastic experience: Dr Krish pulled my tooth out at the Emergency dentist in Kallangur and I have to to say it is by far the best experience I have had. He was gentle and let me know what was going on every step of the way!!! Highly recommend!!!
