Positive experience: The staff at reception were very sweet and polite. The dentists were also very nice to talk to, and gave me breaks when cleaning my teeth so it wouldn’t hurt too much. It would also have been great if there was something other than ads playing in the room where I got my teeth cleaned. Overall, a very satisfactory experience.

Fantastic experience: I first saw Doctor Gilbert in January 2016. I have never had a bad experience and the Doctors are all very caring. I always get fast emergency care when needed and the fees are very reasonable by comparison to places I have been before. I will never go anywhere else again.

Fantastic experience: Came here for the first time after a friend recommended Dr. Pearlyn Ong…I had a large filling that didn’t go well at other clinics. The clinic felt professional yet warm and welcoming. Dr. Pearlyn was really genuine, she explained everything clearly and didn’t push for any unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. I also got a cleaning done during the same visit. I was attended to earlier than my appointment time which is a huge plus point… Parking right at the clinic was a bit tight, but there’s a huge car park just beside it, which made things much easier. Overall, very happy with the experience. Left with a happy tooth and an even happier me!

Fantastic experience: After calling every dentist in town for an emergency appointment on a Saturday Tammy was the only one willing to try and get me seen. Her time and comfort on the phone made walking into the office easy. As a dentist anxious person I felt at ease from the time I made the phone call to the time I left. Dr Cindy took extra time on her Saturday to consult and advise on my situation and booked me back in for further consultation the following week. For me who normally needs to take Valium to even walk into the dr surgery this was an extremely positive experience. Here’s hoping for better experiences with knowledgeable dentists.. Again a massive thank you to Tammy and Dr Cindy for seeing me on a Saturday after hours and making it a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a badly fractured tooth causing bad toothache & required a complex extraction. Dr Claire was extremely patient & updated me on every step of the process. The tooth had to be removed in several pieces including some bone. Apart from 2 or 3 tiny stings from the injection, I never felt any pain whatsoever. All of the staff are very friendly & make sure you are relaxed & at ease. What would usually be a daunting experience for me was the complete opposite. I am so glad I chose to go to Dana St Dental, absolutely first class treatment. Well done Dr Claire & team!

Fantastic experience: We are new to Ballarat and chose Dana Street Dental because of the reviews we read. After a visit to Derrick and nurse Tasmin we were not disappointed. They certainly lived up to the reviews. Derrick is very friendly, thorough and has an excellent knowledge. His happy disposition puts you at ease immediately. His explanation of what he is doing is easy to understand and the procedure is pain free. I would definitely recommend Derrick to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Dr Shree at Dana Street Dental is the best dentist I have ever had. She listens and makes sure that I'm comfortable. I am anaesthetic resistant and she always gives me the right amount. She took out two of my wisdom teeth in the chair - a procedure I always imagined getting done under general anaesthetic in hospital - and she made it so easy to the fact that I was shocked when the first tooth came out. She even made sure to prioritise my procedure when a cancellation came up. As long as I live in Ballarat, I will be going to Dr Shree and Dana Street Dental.

Shree performed a procedure on me and I was a little scared but I was blown away by her skill set and efficiency and also her professionalism and very caring nature . All the staff here are wonderful ! I am also getting work done with Claire , so I feel it doesn’t matter who you go to here as they are all very wonderful, but my favourites are definitely Shree and Claire

Now I love attending my appointments, From my initial appointment with Dennis in 2019, my nerves were instantly eased. Dana Street Dental has a wonderfully calm environment and all staff are friendly and welcoming. I’ve completed my Aligner treatment with Dr Wendy the past two years, and I will be recommending them to everyone I speak to. The whole experience was amazing and I’m so impressed with the end result, the best decision I’ve ever made. I now take my children for their regular check ups and the staff are always welcoming and accommodating to them as well.

Fantastic experience: No matter who you see at Dana Street Dental you are treated as number one! I've been a patient since day one!! My aged cap was scratchy and was annoying me, and visibly worn.. DR Shree guided me through options and explained processes so well. Her DA and herself replaced my 32 year old cap and I'm booked in next week for a night guard. Seriously, it does not matter IF you cannot see someone you are used to, Dr Gilbert and Dr Wendy have selected exceptional, proffessional and dedicated staff. And Amazing, as always!

Fantastic experience: Dana St Dental is the first dental clinic I’ve been to in 15 years due to difficult childhood experiences and resulting severe dental phobia. I had a broken tooth and was very anxious about coming in. The receptionist I spoke to, named Tiffany, was very caring and helped me set up an appointment quickly. Doctor Mariz was the dentist I saw and despite my high anxiety she helped me feel at ease. She and Stacia, were very kind and patient and made me feel heard and validated and supported through the whole procedure. It was great to be able to take breaks when I needed and to distract myself through watching movies on Netflix as well. Thank you Dana St Dental for helping my return to dental care go smoothly. I’ll be coming back to you guys in the future.

It was my first return postpartum and I had to bring my baby along with me to my appointment which I felt quite anxious about. Kendall was so accommodating to this and with her kind, caring and bubbly personality made myself and my baby feel so welcome and at ease. Her wealth of knowledge and advice on oral health and hygiene for both adults and children was outstanding. My clean and check up was thorough, yet very gentle. The children's dentist Tanya is incredible and takes any anxiety away and make the children's visits to the dentist an enjoyable experience (even when they may need a tooth "wiggled out") My daughter has also been through orthodontist care , and now has beautiful straight teeth in what was an over crowded mouth . But most importantly I want to give special mention for the care and support my family have received this week . My father was recently diagnosed with cancer , and before being able to receive life saving treatment , he needed to have all his teeth removed . He was struggling to find someone locally that could do this quickly . I was able get my father booked in at Dana Street quickly and within a week he had all his teeth removed . The dentist my dad had, gave incredible care and knowledge of my father's condition and made the time to take his teeth out as soon as possible, even giving us a discount. So on behalf of the Walkingshaw family we wanted to just say a BIG thank you to all the staff including the admin team for this incredible (life saving) service you provided our family and my dad . 5 stars

Fantastic experience: I had been putting up with tooth ache on and off for five years because of previous trauma with a dentist, taking antibiotics and pain relief every four months or so. I really didn't want to get the tooth out because of my fear. My daughter recommended Dana Street Dental. She said that they are very caring, and I can attest that this is true. The patience and care shown by Cindy was exceptional, as I have a problem getting the tooth numb. She took her time, made me comfortable - there was very little discomfort with pain etc, and she talked me through the whole process and kept me calm even though I was nervous and scared to get the work done. I am so glad I chose Dana Street Dental, and would recommend Cindy to anyone who is a bit nervous about going to the dentist.

With these very professional ladie's working @The"Dana St Dental practice" Such kind'general'caring' professional people helped me organize a payment plan! My dentist Clair manged to saved my front teeth they were so.. badly decayed. She cleaned my gum's which (didn't even hurt) either did any of many injection's. Clair then decussed my option's. I now have no decay in either of my front teeth and a new perfect Crown. I am absolutely thrilled to bit's .A very big! She guided me the process to be followed and explained me the next steps on the procedures to be done. Dr. Shree and her staff were extremely professional. The office also has a completely new look and it looks fabulous.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Roopa did a brilliant job of a-laying my fears (after a bad experience with a Warnambool dentist) and she fixed the problems for me, and with me. I was part of the decision making process which really helped me feel safe. Everything was explained very clearly and she regularly checked to see if I was ok. Her kind and caring approach to dentistry, something that a lot of people fear, was flawless. The girls on reception did a brilliant job of making me feel welcome and in recommending Dr. Roopa. Fantastic experience: I have MASSIVE dentist anxiety, to the point where I shake and cry at the very THOUGHT of getting in that chair. But weeks of putting up with intense pain finally drove me to Dana St Dental… and I’m kicking myself for not having gone sooner. My dentist - Dennis - was beyond brilliant. His chair-side manner is second to none: he calmly and clearly explained everything that I could expect, listened to my panicky ramble, answered my delirious questions. When it came time for my procedure (a root canal: two ordinarily terrifying words!), he and the equally brilliant dental nurses ensured I was comfortable and properly sedated (nitrous oxide) before beginning. With laughing gas in my system and a great Netflix docco playing on the ceiling, I barely noticed the dental work going on AT ALL! That’s saying a LOT for the person who usually cries just from having their teeth professionally cleaned. If you too are the type to NOPE at the thought of going to the dentist, I hugely recommend giving Dana St Dental a go. Everyone there - from reception to nurses to dentist - is professional, kind, understanding and thorough. Thanks so much, folks!

Explained things very well and was very gentle and caring through out the appointment. The dental assistant was also excellent. Fantastic experience: I went to have a troublesome molar looked at…could not have had a worse challenge to offer the dentist. The team looked after me extremely well. Everything was explained to me clearly, I was paid attention to every step of the way. A big thanks to Dr Roopa. I’m familiar and at easy with dentists but this extraction had me sweating with anxiety, it’s the small details that make it better eg:offered two stress balls to keep me relaxed. Both of the girls made sure I was comfortable and pain free during a recent filling. From having bad experiences in the past at other clinics, I could not recommend Mariz and Alarah enough !
