Fantastic experience: Took my 3 year old daughter here today after 2 previous failed attempts at a check up/clean. We saw Dr. Usaamah who was so friendly, warm and welcoming and made my daughter feel safe and at ease. Both him and his assistant (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name) were amazing and gave off such a good energy; my daughter was compliant and listened and took instructions for a standing x-ray. She let him examine all her teeth, clean them and she told him about the pain she had in her teeth. I couldn’t be happier with how this experience went and it makes me so happy to know my daughter feels safe and comfortable with a dentist. I’m so thankful for how he carried himself with her appointment today because I wasn’t sure she would be co-operative. Thank you for such a positive experience! My daughter has already asked to go back again! Also, a huge thank you to his assistant for going above and beyond and making it special with the bravery award. She is so proud of herself for getting this. It really made her day!

Negative experience: I have been a customer of My dental team at Shellharbour for quite sometime. I attended with my 2 children recently. The treatment of my 2 (aged 11 and 8) children was nothing short of appalling. The way they were treated and spoken to was disgraceful, my children are extremely well behaved but ask questions on, “what’s that for ?” , “how does that work?” The dentist was condescending and the dental assistant was the worst of the two ! Rude, miserable and couldn’t manage a basic conversation. I explained to reception my utter disappointment from dental staff , my children were visibly upset. No contact from management to even apologise. Will never return !!

Fantastic experience: I see Dr Usaamah Patel at My Dental Team and he is amazing. I had been putting care off for far too long and things had gotten quite dodgy by the time I booked in to see Usaamah. He has been amazing, helped me get my issues sorted and won me over to loving my teeth again. He's non judgemental, careful and has a sincere interest in giving a pain free experience wherever possible. I've had 6 appointments now with some major work and had about 15 seconds of pain in that whole time. Plus the front desk team are exceptional. Always an expert available to help out with weird admin questions. 100% recommend this dentist.

Fantastic experience: I booked my daughter in to see Dr Winston Wong and I was so happy with the service he provided. He was friendly and professional. I would also like to thank Dr Wong for including my daughter in the conversation, informing her on the whole process along the way and just giving her the space to be able to ask any questions that she had. She felt anxious going to the dentist, but walked out feeling great with 'nice fresh teeth'. Very happy with our visit to My Dental and will definitely be booking any future appointments for my kids here with Dr Wong.

Fantastic experience: We love my dental team Shellharbour, have been going for quite a few years now and has been the only time I have consistently kept up with dental appointments. The team are all lovely, Dr Neisha in particular is a wonderful dentist. Everything is explained at every stage and for any further work needed always given several options and quotes for each option given. The after care is also great after having a filling etc done, with either a call or text to see how you are going. I have converted my in laws and best friend to the practice and they are also impressed too!

Negative experience: Absolutely horrified with the service that my mum recieved from this dentist not only was their bedside manner an absolute disgrace but they left her very sore and ended up with a dislocated law that she now has to go under to get put back in place: absolutely sickening

Fantastic experience: I came to Dr Pramesh with a bad toothache, expecting the worst. He took 3 X-rays, asked me extensive questions, examined me, poked and prodded very carefully and then told me he thought my teeth were fine. I was so surprised as I had toothache!! He then asked if I had had a cold recently. "Yes", but I was over it now. He then suggested I had sinus problems that might account for the pain and I should try sinus tablets from the chemist before doing anything drastic. I agreed to try, but honestly, I had no faith in his diagnosis as I have not experienced sinus problems in my life. He gave me referrals if he was wrong. He gave me instructions as to what to do if it didn't improve and how to proceed. I left and did as instructed. After only two tablets, the pain eased and after three I had no more pain!!! He has saved me money, time, pain and I am amazed. Each time I come to this surgery, I feel I am listened to and dealt with very carefully and respectfully. It never feels as if I am being ripped off, in fact, quite the opposite. I can only give heart felt praise to Dr Pramesh and the other staff there.

They are great with explaining what my son needed. my son used to hate going to the dentist but because of Dr Alex and he's team my son is excited to go to every visit as they are very kind, gentle and patient. Negative experience: been before getting braces and whilst having braces and will never return, was spoken so rudely by the dentist and the assistant giggled when she made a comment about something caught in between my brackets, i had cancelled my appt 48 hrs before hand and they called me saying if i need to rebook they would need my bank details over the phone , asking a 16 year old at the time for that was ridiculous and when i said no and i’d find somewhere else they called me repeatedly the first time i went here i loved it but after the 2nd visit never again

Fantastic experience: Rang trying to get in as I had a very sore wisdom tooth. Was squeezed in at 4.50 with Dr Neisha, she was wonderful, advised all the time on what she was doing. I had the tooth removed. This morning I have no pain at all, it was a wisdom tooth too! I have not needed any pain killers this morning. The dark shadows of pain are no longer in my face, I feel fab! I have always had an horrendous phobia which is caused me to pass out, landed me in hospital and more, but this dentist was so honest and kind and gentle, we were eventually able to do work in the chair! Not in day surgery!!! This is HUGE for me! And it was a tooth extraction too! So impressed! 12/10

Fantastic experience: Being a tourist that just happened to be passing through Shellharbour, I had the unfortunate experience of having part of one of my molars breaking while eating. I got recommended to this clinic by the hotel staff, and would definitely highly recommend this place for getting any type of dental work done. I was really thankful to the reception staff for making it easy to get an urgent appointment. As soon as I got there the warm welcome by all the staff made it pleasant and I already felt more relaxed (usually more anxious visiting the dentist). My treating dentist was Dr Jennifer and I was really impressed by her professionalism and all the time she took to go through all the options I had to replace the broken tooth. I decided to go for a dental 'crown' as I had quite a significant chunk of tooth that broke and was explained that this was the best option to protect the remaining fragile tooth structure. The facilities at the clinic are state of the art - I remember having a crown done on one of my other teeth a few years back and having uncomfortable materials being put in my mouth to take moulds. Not here... they took the tooth moulds digitally with a camera/scanner which was much more pleasant. Even more surprising - once they finished that they told me my crown would be ready in 45minutes. I remember having to wait 2 weeks for my last one but this clinic has an incredible machine called 'CEREC' and they literally milled my crown from a block of ceramic (same colour as my tooth, metal-free) and I managed to watch my crown being made in the waiting room (see pic). After that Dr Jennifer and her assistants took great care to fit the crown in and I was able to go home and eat immediately. Overall this is the best dental care I have ever received and would highly recommend this place, especially for Dr Jennifer as she went through great lengths to make sure my anxiety with dental treatment was addressed through her gentle approach and warm personality, along with all the staff there that make sure everything goes smoothly. Regarding the crown it has been 2 weeks now and it feels so natural and inconspicuous as it blends in so well colour wise with my teeth. Sincere gratitude to all the staff in this place for their efforts. Keep it up :)

Fantastic experience: I presented to Dr Pulina and My Dental Team assisting staff for examination, diagnosis and subsequent treatments that required me to have a poor tooth removed and other fillings examined and repaired. All costings and outcomes long and short term were explained to me before any treatment was planned or initiated. The work done was quite extensive with always the utmost care and modern up to date practices in place with dental professionalism afforded through all stages of the Dental treatment by Dr Pulina and assisting staff at My Dental Team ending in good long term results for me. I was also examined for other more complex treatments I require regarding root canal treatments and given a full examination with a comprehensive honest diagnosis explaining all the options available to me especially with regard to long and short term viability of any further treatments I would choose to have repaired. All treatments outcomes and the costs involved were presented with nothing hidden and in all honesty my health and well being appeared to be always first in the Teams list of priorities for my care. Very unhurried. Dr Pulina a knowlegable very gentle caring unhurried professional dentist whom I would not hesitate to give my highest recommendation for he and his staffs honesty, caring proffesionalism prior,during and after my recent visits to My Dental Team. I recently returned to Dr Pulina at My Dental Team September October 2023 for some filling restoration work I was in need of and again was afforded the same great care, humility, understanding and of course treatment. Dr Pulina and his team giving their utmost in helping me to maintain my oral health with knowledge of how better to look afyer my teeth and again providing updated information on my teeth and gum situation for niw and into the distant future, all very relaxed and calming all the while being truthful and honest about my present and or future treatment and all options for costs and time frame. Fantastic experience: Excellent front desk staff and doctors. I booked an appointment with Dr. Pramesh, who is very knowledgeable and professional. The front desk staff regularly followed up with me from the time I booked my appointment until after my treatment. They were always polite and patient in answering my questions. Dr. Pramesh took the time to explain my dental condition in detail and to answer my questions about my wisdom teeth. I especially appreciated his recommendations for how to improve my oral health.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jennifer was fantastic. Very knowledgeable & takes the time to explain everything that is happening while you’re getting work done to your teeth. Not a big fan of going to the dentist but this dentist makes you feel comfortable & welcoming. Defiantly heading back for the next dental clean.
