Flicked through google and happened upon Smile Dental Clinic I submitted their online questionnaire at about 7:30pm with the plan to call them the next morning. I was absolutely delighted to receive a phone call from Smile Dental at 8am the next morning with the result of being squeezed into their hectic pre-christmas schedule. Fantastic experience: I used to go to GMF until the dentist changed staff. Now, i attend Smile Dental, where Dr Desmond is actually situated and only works part-time time at GMF. I was very impressed by how gental and friendly he is and then i wanted to be done by Dr Desmond all the time. Mimi is also the other dentist, and she is so caring just like her husband and such a beautiful person. I have now transferred my husband over to smile as well. The best dental clinic I've ever attended since 1994. Would recommend these lovely people to anyone. Keep up the great work KiriWA

Fantastic experience: Lovely staff - I saw Dr Mimi, she talked me through everything, explained all of my options and allowed me to chose which option I wanted to take. She then set up my next appointment and set up my dental plan :) The dental assistant was also very friendly and gave very clear directions for what they would be doing or needed me to do during the appointment The front receptionist is also so pleasant and very efficient at her job! She had my dental plan waiting for me at reception after my appointment and was also able to tell me what my "gap" (out of pocket expense) would be for my future appointments. She then also booked my daughter for her check up and clean on request, and asked if I knew if she was covered by the government scheme for children (which I'm not sure of) and assured me on the day we'll find out if we can have this covered by Medicare rather than private health. She is very knowledgeable and an asset to the clinic Normally, i have a lot of anxiety seeing a dentisit but, I have never felt so at ease going into a dental appointment and confident that I would be in good hands afterwards :) Thank you Smile Dental Clinic!

Fantastic experience: The dentist determined my daughter had 4X wisdom teeth that were coming out causing her discomfort. Dentist was friendly and explained the diagnosis to us. He advised therapeutic interventions that i could try along with OTC analgesia. He also advised i return bring her back if non of these measures were effective. My daughter is fine now. Fantastic experience: First time to dentist for years, absolutely perfect experience , everything explained and all care possible taken to make it a really good.

Positive experience: Patient care was very good, eg numbing gel applied and given time to work before an injection was administered is in my view good care, explaining the process is good communication. And then the work process was to a high standard. Could've used lip balm for an excellent review. Only one has done this but she is now in Perth, Dr Jessica Chu.
