Fantastic experience: Very nappy with the service, Dr Pratik was very informative and great with our child.

Negative experience: The so called care co-ordinator, Jing Zhu would come into the room before the dentist even started, literally shoving an Eftpos machine in my mothers face and asking "who's paying" and pressuring us to pay before the procedure even happened I wanted (actually, needed) to do a pay in 4 because I am unfortunately on Centrelink right now. Because of the pressure she put on me and my mum, we had to pay upfront and now I'm going to be struggling to pay for groceries and bills because of that disgraceful woman. She should be ashamed of herself. 879 dollars isn't something I just have lying around and I never expected it to cost close to that much, and the option for after pay was the reason I wanted to go to this practice. But that wasn't an option after the pressure she put on us. I rarely leave reviews but I am fuming because of her behaviour, her disrespect to my mother kind enough to be there while getting the treatment, and now in a bad place financially because of it Dr Soni and the hygienist Penny were wonderful, however, which is why I'm giving a 2 star rating instead of just 1 star. They were very patient, kind, and considerate with me throughout the procedure and make it a much more pleasant experience. I couldn't thank them enough and am very grateful for their care. Also, considering a wisdom tooth was extracted, I'm not in too much pain which I think is a testament to the doctor, who must be a very good dentist to have made it so seamless.

Fantastic experience: Had an appt with Dr Pratik Kapoor to have a tooth extracted, Not only did he fit me in within 24 hours, The Dr was friendly explaining everything that was going to occur. The procedure went perfectly i felt no pain was supported throughout. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pratik and will be returning to begin the process for partial plates.

Negative experience: Went in for a check up. Got told I needed 2 new fillings, one for an old filling, that they wanted to extract and another tooth I didnt have a filling in. Got my fillings done, was in pain immediately after the numbing wore off, went back to get the fillings cut down as I couldnt chew. They told me they had to remove one filling and add some antibiotic cream which cost about $300. They put a new filling and Im still in pain. Got asked to come in and get a crown at a lowered cost, proving they can lower costs at their own leisure. Not happy with this dental surgery, just causing more pain for more money. Out of pocket of about $2000 with 2 teeth that are now more painful than when I went in.

Negative experience: Missed a large absence so I had to stay in hospital for 6 days. I gave it 1 start because no thanks to them I am alive today. No way I would go back there even if you paid me lots of money. I thought death is a bad thing not too this dentist.

My new dentist at Mandurah Dental Surgery is a young man called Dr Anand..if you have fears of visiting a dentist, consider this young Dr, he's amaizingly gentle and answers honestly and compassionately questions you may have about your anxietys or possible ongoing treatments . Negative experience: When I called to make an appointment for today I specifically asked if they do concession card and private health card and I was told yes on the phone… Arrived for my appointment and filled out the paperwork that was needed. Had my appointment with the dentist then it was time to pay!!!! They told me they were not doing concession card rebates at the moment!!! Was not happy as I was told over the phone that they accept concession cards :( I couldn’t afford my bill and had to put it on Afterpay. Left humiliated and very un happy :(

Negative experience: Posting on behalf of my girlfriend. I attended this clinic as my normal dentist wasn’t open over the Easter weekend. I’d had jaw pain that was worsening over the previous 3 days with no relief from over the counter pain relief and was comprising my ability to eat or drink. I have braces which have been on for 6 weeks and braces previously years ago but this pain was in my jaw not teeth and nothing I’d experienced before. I had ulcers in similar location to jaw pain but able to differentiate the pain between two. I gave all this information to who was treating me. I was given numbing gel, the gel was thrown into my mouth without looking and some ended up in the back of my throat which resulted in trouble swallowing and gagging for next 30minutes with an X-ray, then was recommended a clean. This was the quickest and most painful clean I’ve experienced to the point of being offered injection due to the pain. After all this I was recommended that the pain I was experiencing was braces pain and the ulcers were caused by my braces despite it being on my lower gum approximately 3cm away from my braces with no way for brackets or wires to touch and told to take over the counter pain relief….. $535….. left in more pain and with no answers.

Negative experience: Super overpriced $90 for a consultation not quite sure what the consult was for as I booked for a scale and clean, I also wanted to chat about a gap fill and she told me that the consult I booked wasn't long enough. $25 dollars for the numbing gel (you can get the full blown numb needles for free elsewhere) $190 for a clean that took about ten minutes, never in my life has a clean been so fast and painful. Then they tried to get me to do a full mouth xray after I repeatedly told them I have extensive orthodontic and gum specialist documentation from January this year that I can instantly send them. I had to basically run out the door to escape the unesesary $100 dollar xray. I have never felt so rushed and ripped off. Apart from when I was waiting for my appointment 30 minutes late with no communication. I only went as my dentist was fully booked, please go elsewhere in mandurah DB dental and my affordable dentist are very very good. Sheesh never again.

They’re also amazing with kids—always friendly, fun, and making sure they feel completely comfortable. But it’s not just the kids—they make me feel at ease too, which is so important! The reception staff are just as wonderful—so warm, polite, and welcoming. My kids absolutely love them! They always have something to keep little ones entertained, from drawings to do while waiting to a special treat at the end of their visit. The whole atmosphere of this clinic is so inviting and reassuring. It’s rare to find a place where both kids and adults feel this comfortable, and I’m so grateful for the care they provide. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience there. My 3 year old daughter was made to feel comfortable and all the staff there was extremely patient with her and guided her through the procedure. I definitely recommend for younger children and kids. The receptionists were also very kind and welcoming and booked me in very quickly as we needed urgent care.

Fantastic experience: Dr soni I have no words for you absolutely incredible! I have such a huge fear of the dentist and now I can say I’m finally im not scared anymore and have found a dentist that is amazing! So so caring aswell as the beautiful nurse! She talked me through the entire extraction and made sure I was okay every so often! The clinic is nice and clean and the reception staff are extremely helpful and welcoming!

Fantastic experience: Took my two year old in for his first dental appointment due to him chipping a tooth. Booking in on short notice was easy & straightforward. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. On the day, a very nice lady bought my son some crayons and coloring paper pretty much right away without me asking. This was such a thoughtful gesture and so helpful. Facilities were simple & clean. The dentist & dental nurse were kind to my son, patient and softly spoken. Overall a smooth & pleasant experience. I’ll be coming back next time we need dental care

Negative experience: Never again and will not recommend. The information given when in the chair was misleading the bill hurt as did the work. My husband spent ages arguing the price. With a reduction in the price I still would not recommend.

Negative experience: Only good thing was the availability and now we understand why. Took my partner in to get a achey tooth taken out and it was the most unprofessional and unhygienic experience i have EVER witnessed. The assistant would leave the room with gloves on and come back in and put the dirty gloves into his mouth. The actual dentist made the extraction painful as could be. Used a pair of surgical pliars and was yanking with all her strength to get it out. Didn’t even loosen the gums or cut them a bit to make it slip out easily. Just straight up pulled. Worse. Experience. Ever.

Negative experience: Initially went in for a yearly clean in April. Was told that I required extensive work and needed fillings in all my teeth. From April until October I had 9 appointments after my fillings were completed one fell out and I went back to get it refilled. I was told I needed a crown due to the damage. Went in for the crown and they said they were doing 2 crowns - 1 preventative. During the appointment for my crown prep I was given to a dentist I hadn't had before besides a clean. I was in pain the whole appointment and left crying. When I had the crowns put on I knew something was wrong. I was in 10/10 pain and called to come back and I wanted my old dentist. He dismissed me and said the pain would get better over time. I went to see a new dentist who told me the crowns were way too high and I had inflamed nerves from this mess up. I ended up having a root canal which helped but I'm still in pain and have been for months now. I am so scared of ever going to a dentist again.

Fantastic experience: I brought my 7 year old in for a clean and fillings, On arrival we were greeted in A professional manner from the Lovely Receptionists, very thorough and efficient. Not to mention Dr. Anil offered exceptionally great service along with his lovely Dental assistant, all were great with my daughter. Highly recommended 100% We will definitely be returning.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing experiece at Mandurah Dental Surgery, I recently brought my 7 year old sister in and she was offered stickers, colouring in, a hair clip, and an eraser. She was very scared but the dentist took amazing care of her and she left with a smile. Will definetly be coming back and I would recommend to any body thinking of going !

Negative experience: Had bad gum/tooth pain was able to get an appointment, then had to get an xray , then they thought maybe the pain was from my wisdom tooth or maybe I needed a filling or maybe just a clean and antibiotics then see you in 2 weeks. I had a clean and it was the worst experience I've ever had i had water coming out the side of my mouth the lady doing the suction wasn't getting enough water, I had to get them to stop because I was choking on water 2 times the last time I just told them to stop. Will not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I went in because of an infection in my gum and a broken molar. Dr Sanam was very thorough and she explained everything very well. I ended up having the tooth taken out, the procedure went perfectly, I did not feel a thing after the anaesthetic needles and the Dr and nurse did well to keep me calm. It cost $140 for the first consult and xray, then $559 to remove the tooth with no private health. The receptionists were very kind and friendly too. 10/10

Negative experience: Rough as guts, dentist whilst grinding cut my lip, tongue, roof of my mouth and replied with oops, he quoted $800 for the work done and ended up charging me $1200. May be good for emergency appointments but i would not recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Anand is the goat, he eased my tensions about coming into the dentist and made me feel comfortable quickly and went over all the issues I had with my teeth and how we could fix them. Everyone including the receptionists and the assistants were also verh kind. Dr Anand was also adept at cleaning my teeth and I felt no discomfort or pain during my procedure, highly recommend this place fr fr ️

Fantastic experience: For someone who avoids the dentist like the plague, this was the best experience I've ever had. Kind, non judgemental and very skilled dentist. I had two difficult extractions. She was so patient and understanding. I was very well informed. Everything was explained extremely well and it's the first time in years I feel confident to go back. Dr Sanam Phuyal Dhungana is a kind, compassionate person and the reception staff are very professional and lovely people too. Even the follow up call to see how I was feeling. Great people. Highly recommend

Negative experience: Broke a piece off my back molar and was amazed I was able to get in within a couple of hours. The dentist tried to tell me I needed more work than I originally went there for. Took an x-ray and eventually did the filing I asked to be rebuilt. Wrote out a script for penicillin, charged me $15 for the script! I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and wouldn't have been charged for a script. Total bill $562 before HBF paid about a third!! Needed it done as I was in pain. No discount for pensioner! Told to come back for a free check up for the filling in 6 weeks, uumm if it was done properly why would they need to check it. He talked incessantly about my job, home holidays hobbies, all I wanted was a filling. I'm sorry I'll be going elsewhere in future

Fantastic experience: 100% recommend, my daughter needed an emergency app. Being a Saturday I didn’t think I’d have much luck getting an appointment but the girls at reception were so helpful and lovely. (Over the phone and face-to-face). My daughter seen Dr Sanom, who was so wonderful, and made my girl so comfortable. Great dentist and service, great with kids too.

Negative experience: Wanted a simple clean and scale. Instead was made to feel extremely uncomfortable by Dentist Anil Bhattiprolu. Asked me to get an x ray to which I agreed to - realise now wasn’t really necessary when all I wanted was a general clean. Wanted to sell me an electric toothbrush which I seen in Coles on clearance for $60 Said I needed a deep clean and then gave me a quote for $700 with a portion covered by private health however out of pocket cost was still going to cost almost $400. When I said I wasn’t prepared to pay all that when all I wanted was a clean his demeanour changed rather quickly and was literally just staring at me as if to say what are you still doing here then. I left the practice feeling very uncomfortable and very annoyed. Will never go back there again and will never recommend this dental clinic. The admin girls were very lovely they were the only nice part about the experience. Would’ve have even given one star. I did think it was strange that they were so easy to get into as we all know it’s not easy to get into a good dentist but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Next time I will listen to my instincts.

Negative experience: Pressured me to make a decision for the small surgery. Made it sound like it was going to be a big surgery job on how I needed to get my tooth removed asap and it was not possible to save my tooth. Overall felt pressured and it sounded like they were trying to convince me to make a decision on the spot. My son’s girlfriend had a similar experience. Wanted to charge her $800 for 3 fillings. She felt pressured and rushed and were wanting her to make a quick decision. Just sounds money hungry and unprofessional. Overall went somewhere else and she ended up spending $280 elsewhere and her teeth are perfectly fine and I went elsewhere and they fixed my problem and still have my tooth with no issues. Not really the one to ever write a bad review but I just felt like I needed to on this one. Lol

Fantastic experience: Can't think of much worse than experiencing unexpectedly bad tooth pain while travelling. Telephoned in the hope of snagging an appointment, and found myself in the chair, x-rayed and diagnosed with a root canal infection that afternoon! That's service. It gets better...I was back in the chair next morning for root canal surgery. No, not something I wanted, and the exceptional service not what I expected, yet here I, am 35 hours after the infernal pain started, fixed up and able to continue touring. Just amazing. As for the team at the surgery, they cannot be faulted......the reception staff are capable and private in our communication, and my dentist and his assistant first class. I was at ease throughout the experience; having root canal surgery is not high on my list of life's must do's; and cannot fault their reassuring manner and ability. Thanks to all. In my book, you are golden........

Positive experience: I have been here a few times, i think the prices are fair, probably not the cheapest in town but they do a pretty thorough job. My biggest gripe with the place is almost every time without fail I sit around for 30 mins waiting for my appointment and then get rushed through. They give out plenty of texts/phone calls to make sure you are coming, but cannot message you and let you know someone came in for some emergency and they have had to push all the appointments back 30 mins. 3.5/5

Fantastic experience: Have just had some emergency dental work done by Dr Anand Byatt and was very impressed with his work. Always asking how things were and nothing was to much trouble when asking questions. As a full time traveler from the East side of the country I highly recommend this dental practise.

Negative experience: Edit: not impressed. Would not recommend. They constantly harassed by unsolicited phone calls to make an appointment with them. Booked an appointment. Wait he’s 40 mins only to be told it would only be another 10 minutes. Poor service. Nil communication or preparation as to why the wait. What’s the point of making an appointment time if you’re not going to stick to it.

Negative experience: Made appointment for my husband who had a loose back tooth. Asked how much this would cost & was told it would be $45 for the consultation & she couldn’t tell me how much the extraction would cost. My husband sat in the chair, was told he would need an X-ray which would cost $100 plus $553 for the Extraction. My husband refused the X-ray as the tooth was already loose. He was then approached by the receptionist who told him he needs to pay before. He had to get out the chair, Pay $598 Tooth came out with one pull. I was absolutely gobsmacked how expensive it cost to have a loose tooth taken out. Please be warned, this place is all about the money, not the patient. They knew darn well how much they charge for an extraction & wait till ur vulnerable & sitting in the chair. Shame on you!!! Would give 0 stars if I could.
