Dr Pavithra Shetty was so lovely and made me feel very relaxed for the treatment which was very thorough. I was extremely happy with the results and I will definitely return in future.

Fantastic experience: Dr Alisha Jason at no Gaps Dental in Chatswood is the most gentle, caring and best dentist that I have ever met. I actually have phobia about dental work, due to frightening experiences as a child that I did not tell her. She is flawless in all aspect. She spotted my hidden dental caries and she kept explaining the procedure when she was preforming my filling. It was virtually painless ( just a little uncomfortable)! Negative experience: Rushed job on filling. I used to go regularly for cleans. This was my first time for a filling at the chatswood site and had to get it redone. The job was rushed and the colour was completely different to my tooth colour. Like a bright white circle in the tooth. I used to go to the dentist a lot growing up and so had experience with fillings and usually the colour is either matched or slightly different. I didn't realise till I got home as the dentist didn't show me what the filling looked like. Also, I never had numbing cream used for a clean and the dentist dr pavithra was quite rough and got numbing cream on my lips. Even with that the cleaning tools (the water pick) was painful as the setting was quite high. I've had cleans without numbing cream and it not being painful. Overall the clean was rushed with probably 7 min spent on it. I realised the next day they had spent like 15 min in total on the filling and clean. Which is probably why she had spent no time to match the colour. I ended up having to go back and initially they agreed to redo at it. But when I arrived they kind of said they couldn't do it and I had to go over why I was unhappy again. Essentially making it out I was making a big deal for nothing. Overall I probably wouldn't go back to this no gaps. I will say the one in wynyard is pretty good.

Fantastic experience: Marcia is the best dentist I have seen. She does our whole family and is so fantastic with our young kids also. We moved states and could never find anyone who was as good so we schedule all our dental visits when we are in Sydney visiting family.

Fantastic experience: i've visited No Gaps Dental at various locations, and the dentists and other staff are all very good. For people with private dental coverage, the 'no gap' coverage for all the routine services incl fillings, xrays are a huge saving. Even for things such as crown which aren't 'no gap', a friend had the work done there after being quoted a much higher price at another dental centre.

Negative experience: Incredibly disappointed with the service. They took $1000s of dollars off my private health cover month by month and put in a fund to pay for a major treatment and then when the dentist left the money disappeared with him. I turned up this Morning for an appointment to be told I had a cancellation fee from over 6 months ago that I had had no communication about ahead of my appointment today. I explained that the fee was not valid so I would not be paying it and they refused to see me! Incredibly bad service.

Fantastic experience: Dr Pavithra Shetty is incredible. I have had terrible dental experiences in the past that left me hesitant to see a dentist again. Dr Pavi is a dream, she's empathetic, transparent and cares about paitent comfort, understanding and is non-judgemental about one's dental hygiene. She's so gentle and you can tell her heart is in it. I am genuinely looking forward to seeing her again.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alisha Jason and her staff are so welcoming and professional. My two toddlers and I see her for our general dentistry. For the kids she puts on a tv show they like, then she playfully and gently explains what she’s going to do before she does it. They’re lying on top of us so that they’re feeling secure. For the suction, she showed it to my sons on their little hands before putting it in their mouths so that they weren’t shocked. They got these adorable certificates after their first appointments. She focuses on prevention over unnecessary intervention, but has excellent care when there are issues. You won’t feel judged if you’re bad at flossing, but will understand why you should try to take better care. She has a very calm and kind demeanour which would be great for anxious people of any age. There aren’t any extra fees above insurance for regular checkups and cleans (hence the name of the practice), and she doesn’t push unneeded expenses on you. The place is very clean and tidy. There’s also parking underneath which is so convenient. Highly recommend!
