Fantastic experience: Justin and the team are amazing: Very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I never felt like I was being over charged and wasn't charged for any additional follow-ups needed after the initial procedure. I switched over because my regular dentist couldn't complete the work required. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: I've been with Dr Jonathan Lo for several years and he is the best dentist I've ever had. He is patient, gentle, skilled and very professional. My recovery from wisdom tooth removal was fantastic and had no complications. Whether it be for surgery or general check-ups, I would highly recommend Dr Jonathan Lo for any and all dental treatments.
Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with Maylands Dental! Dr. Lo was my dentist and he was amazing throughout the whole procedure (I chipped my tooth). Fantastic experience: Jackie was so kind and understanding, I’m so glad I found her. I’m a very nervous dental patient but she kept me informed of everything she was doing and how long it would take and what I would feel. It was so helpful, she gave me plenty of time to stop and breath… they even gave me the squishy tomato thing to squeeze during my treatment (even tho I felt no pain at all) it helped me so much. Fantastic experience: I was extremely nervous and hesitant to go to the dentist, I hadn’t been in over three years. First time going to Maylands dental and I booked an appointment with Dr Joe, when booking there was the option to leave a comment so I was able to mention my personal reasons to why I was quite hesitant to visit the Dentist. Which was great to be able to let them know beforehand, from the moment I met Dr Jo he was kind, warm, and he didn’t make me feel judged at all even when I explained it had been around three years since I had last been to the dentist. I was so nervous when I came my hands were shaking and I teared up but he put me completely at ease. He was empathetic, caring and validated my feelings He talked me through everything that he was doing and was incredibly gentle. I can’t thank Dr Jo enough and recommend anyone that’s highly anxious to go to the dentist or that’s been putting it off to go see Maylands Dental Centre.

She recently made my splint for clenching over a month ago, and the results have been life-changing—I no longer have any discomfort in my jaw and sleep so much better. Fantastic experience: I have had a massive fear of the dentist going back to childhood and the school dentist who had a zero care factor. I’ve only seen a dentist when it’s been absolutely necessary which has totalled 4 times in 40 years. I made an appointment after having this practice recommended to me by an industry professional and thanks to Dr Anh and her care and compassion I am finally getting the treatment my teeth need. I could not recommend this practice and Dr Anh any higher, it has been a truly life altering experience.

Fantastic experience: The team at Maylands Dental Centre are all so wonderful and do amazing work! I moved to Perth a few years ago, was looking for a dentist and Maylands Dental Centre got recommended me by a few different people. I’ve had all four of my wisdom teeth removed, had Invisalign done, dental bonding, cleans, scans, etc over the years, and have had a truly enjoyable experience every time & have been really happy with my results. Honestly don’t want to go anywhere else in Perth! I have been mostly seeing Dr Ida, as well as Dr Soon and Dr Lo for my work done to date. The front desk team are always lovely and extremely helpful as well!

Fantastic experience: I was Very Lucky to get a quick appointment . They replaced my lost Filling in maybe 15 minutes . & once again I was Very Lucky I didn’t need any anaesthetic . I couldn’t believe the Filling Set Dry in 5 minutes . Oh well I Suppose This is 2025. .

I have had multiple dental work done from a root canal and crown implant to countless fillings and minor surgery for a tooth extraction. Fantastic experience: A great clinic for "spoonies". I visited for the first time this week, and highly recommend Dr. Jackie and their technician (apologies for not remembering their name). Doctors and staff willing to learn or even just be receptive to discussing information around complex chronic illnesses and/or disablity/neurodivergence in an affirming was is rare in WA unfortunately. They were friendly, supportive and fostered a safe environment for me which was important after experiencing some problematic allied health appointments over the years. The reception staff were friendly and prompt to respond when I had to reschedule.

Fantastic experience: My two children, 5 and 9 years old, love going to the dentist thanks to Dr. Anh Nguyen. Even my partner, who usually avoids dental visits, now feels comfortable booking appointments because Dr. Nguyen is incredibly gentle and thorough. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr Ashanth Philips for about a year, he is so warm and welcoming and positive. I had only been to the dentist once in 13 years and was apprehensive about getting on top of my dental health again and he has made the whole experience lovely. I’ve gone through him for my Invisalign and couldn’t recommend him enough. He was happy to work out every little detail of what I wanted changed every step along the way. Fantastic experience: Every dentist who I’ve seen at Maylands Dental has been so gentle and understanding with their help and suggestions. They always have my best interest of my teeth in mind, and they’re always willing to explain things in a non-judgmental and easy to understand way. Fantastic experience: Receptionist Narin is one of the friendliest and most polite I have ever met. She always makes me feel welcome and has a big smile on her face. Explains everything in detail and is always very accomodating. The dentist, Dr Alex is out of this world. Whatever you have going on, he’s seen it before no doubt. Fantastic experience: I visited Maylands dental today for inchair teeth whitening. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The lovely therapist Chika was so kind and explained the process to me so I would know exactly what to expect during the whole process. Negative experience: Had Dr. Philips I think. He checked for sensitivity by placing an ice cold metal dental tool on my tooth causing extreme pain. He then took an xray and I said I needed a filling. I've never had a dentist do that before. He could of just done the xray in my opinion. Needless to say after that I did not feel comfortable having the filling so I left. I booked this place because of the 5 star rating, left disappointed and will not return

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentists. I think they are all good until I have been to Mayland Dental. They have a family like and a friendly culture that appeals to people of all ages including a play area for kids. Each team are closely bonded during consultation and every time I visited they will greet me no matter whether I am seeing them for the purpose of my visit or not making me feeling welcome even for the short waiting time at the reception.

Fantastic experience: Amazing service as usual. I’m Justin’s patient since around 2010 and his dedication and professionalism is remarkable. Friendly staff and very clean practice. Highly recommended! And if you are scared of pain or going to the dentist ask for Justin! He is the one as you won’t feel any pain! For sure other practitioners at the same practice are also profesional as him as they are always busy.

Fantastic experience: I brought my two Sons for a checkup with Dr.Ash today. One needed a mouth guard for basketball which Dr.Ash did on a 3D Scanner which was impressive. Dr.Ash gave good feedback on my kids teeth and advise on how to look after them. The kids were at ease and went through the checkup without a hum!!!

I am from Seattle, Washington State and recently was teaching at the University of Western Australia. I became ill with a deeply infected tooth - Dr. Lo immediately went into action for me providing rapid care and insights that help to alleviate the pain and at this point, actually save the tooth from extraction.
