Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with Dr Kinnar. I received Invisalign and four veneers over the course of 6 months and could not be happier with the final result. The process was very efficient and the Smile Concepts team were very polished making the whole process extremely easy - pricing was also very reasonable and all inclusive which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend the Kinnar and the team.

Fantastic experience: The people here have been so great to me, caring and compassionate when I came to them after a traumatic event, and continuing to be so, while I had struggles with PTSD I still felt safe coming to them. Being of a low income background and not always maintaining the best dental hygiene, I never felt they looked down or judged or thought less of me. Same even for some of my rough looking friends when they came to support me. My consultations and treatments here have always been done with gentleness, sensitivity and support, and when referring me to other practitioners they've ensured the same level of care. I've had braces done here, which went great I love my smile now - and wisdom teeth removed, which was done so well there was no bleeding or pain afterwards - I highly recommend twilight dentistry! Next is implants, and I feel much more comfortable and confident having that done here than anywhere else. Special thanks to Manish , Sylvia and I can't remember other names but everyone who saw me.

Fantastic experience: I was in a hurry to book an appointment over the phone when the clinic was about to close. The receptionist was very helpful in scheduling my appointment to remove the floss that got stuck in my teeth. The dentist was polite and had a gentle touch as she carefully removed the floss. It was a great service.thank you!

Negative experience: I had a deeply concerning experience at Smile Concepts. A few weeks before my last visit, a nurse struggled for nearly 30 minutes to take my X-rays, repeatedly adjusting the machine and causing extreme discomfort. After multiple failed attempts, another nurse had to step in and completed the X-ray in under two minutes. That same (initial) nurse later attempted to remove my Invisalign attachments but failed to do so properly, leaving my teeth feeling even more sensitive and residue attachments behind, which are still there now! At my follow-up appointment, I pointed out the leftover attachments. The nurse first denied any issue but then admitted they were still there. I still had hypersensitivity from my last visit, which I flagged with the nurse. As the same nurse attempted to remove them, she hit a nerve, causing intense pain. At that point, I decided not to proceed and had to leave. Shortly after, the nurse—visibly upset—ran to Dr. Manish Shah. Moments later, he entered the waiting area, stood over me in an aggressive manner, and refused to take on board any of my concerns he then went on to say, “Don’t mess with me.” When I tried to explain what had happened, he completely dismissed my concerns and refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing. When I called him out on his behavior, he went even further, saying, “I’ll take care of you—don’t mess with me.” His tone and stance were clearly meant to intimidate me, making me feel unsafe. A staff member, Sylvia, witnessed the incident but later denied everything and twisted events to defend Dr. Shah. Instead of taking accountability, they dismissed my concerns and tried to discredit me. Because of their blatant denial, I had to engage with experts to extract a transcript using AI, which captured the threats and intimidation that took place during the interaction. This further proves the unprofessional behaviour I experienced. To be fair, Dr. Kinna (my original doctor, who was not present at the time) has always been reasonable, but my experience with Dr. Shah and Sylvia was deeply unprofessional. This clinic struggles to own up to poor work and mistakes, and after what I went through, I have reported the incident to the appropriate authorities. Patients deserve care that is professional, safe, and honest—which I did not receive at Smile Concepts.

Fantastic experience: What a fabulous dentist. I needed to find one specialising in grinding, and I can’t recommend Smile Concepts enough. I’ve now had a small filling there, seen Dr Manish Shah for grinding and been to the dental hygienist. So I’ve meet quite a few of the team and they are all incredibly professional, kind and caring. Dr Archi Shah was great with my needle worries for the filling too! They can be a bit more expensive than some dentists, but they are a city practice and the standard of care is so high that I’m more than happy to pay.

Fantastic experience: I was looking to replace a crown and generally tweak my smile to make it more even and full. After seeing a different dentist who quoted me $17k for a full set of veneers, I looked for a second opinion and I am so glad I spoke to Dr Kinnar, who actually asked what I was trying to achieve instead of automatically jumping to veneers. He designed a treatment plan that only included one veneer in place of my crown and a course of invisalign, a gum laser recontouring and whitening which was much healthier for my younger teeth (and non permanent) and about half the cost. The dental and reception staff are also super nice, and very helpful. I now have an amazing smile, thanks so much to Dr Kinnar and the whole Smile Concepts CBD team ❤️
