Fantastic experience: I recently attended Semaphore Dental for a checkup and clean and was pleasantly surprised by my wonderful experience with Chelsea, a very thorough and professional Hygienist. Chelsea was methodical and meticulous in her approach yet also considered and compassionate. If you are looking for a Hygienist who will actually clean your teeth properly then please consider Chelsea whose work ethic is second to none. I highly recommend Chelsea!

The staff, including those who attend the reception desk, and in particular Dr Jason Eng, Dentist, his assistant (sorry I don’t recall her name) and Brooke Kinna, Dental Hygienist are incredibly friendly, professional, and above all, thoughtful. They take the time to listen, explain every step clearly, and ensure you're completely comfortable throughout your visit. What really sets them apart is their unwavering commitment to putting patients first. They’re not just focused on doing a great job (which they absolutely do!)—they truly care about your wellbeing and how you feel, both physically and emotionally, during your treatment. You never feel rushed or like "just another appointment"—they’re patient, attentive, and always go the extra mile. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated and compassionate. I genuinely look forward to my visits, which I never thought I’d say about going to the dentist! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this Dental Surgery over 12yrs now, & Brooke has also been our hygienist all that time, she is the best; too good that availability can often be difficult ✨ They all are!! All staff are always friendly, helpful & welcoming always talking you through everything so there’s nothing unknown & know anything coming up. Especially great with kids too We’ve always had a pleasant experience even when seeing other providers. Dr Vineel has his own YouTube videos that he’s referred kids to over the years & has also referred us on to ENT etc when his noticed things we’d otherwise be unaware of. They’re very thorough & and on routine that even the kids enjoy a visit to the dentist!! Highly recommended!

Positive experience: My wife, 2 kids and I have used semaphore dental for the last 2 years. Admin staff are always lovely and responsive via phone. They helped refer me to a health fund advisor which I was dubious about, but turned out to be a valuable move, saving me $50 a fortnight with better dental extras and comparable hospital cover. The 2 dentists we have seen are excellent with a good bedside manner, keeping the kids comfortable.ive seen 4 hygienists and overall positive experiences. Brook has a naturally caring demeanor and my kids loved the hygienist with the resident chiwawa that sat on their laps during their clean and loved receiving their belly rubs. What a fantastic idea for children, something they remember fondly. Semaphore dental overall has a great team, focussed on meeting consumer needs and offers a high quality service

Fantastic experience: Went to see the hygienist Nicole and her able assistant Ms Betty Margaret. Nicole is lovely very gentle, thorough and caring. Betty is a delight, she snuggles into your lap and then when your procedure ends she hops off ready to charm the next person.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Semaphore dental. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional and their facilities are immaculate . It doesn’t ever really feel like a dental appointment , particularly with my hygienist (Vy) as we chat like friends catching up during the entire session. My kids also use Semaphore dental and actually get excited about turning up for their appointment because the staff make it so much fun.

Positive experience: I was in a hairdressers when I overheard a lady talking well of semaphore dental. They have a therapy dog. I didn't need it. They make you feel very calm and relaxed I had a consultation that went really well and a clean and scale. A very thorough and good job on both services. I'm am very happy with the outcomes

Fantastic experience: Dentistry is always very thorough, and Brooke is an incredible hygienist! Lovely conversation and gets through the less comfy parts of cleaning very quickly, while giving you plenty of breaks to rest and relax during the process.

Fantastic experience: Recently (April 2025) had a front tooth implant with Dr Dustin. I am so thrilled with the whole experience. Dr Dustin's vast knowledge and experience in implants made me feel confident in the process. It has been life changing and would highly recommend using Sempahore dental for all dental work. Dr Dustin is a lovely person who is highly professional and shows extreme dedication to his work. He goes above and beyond for his patients and i thank him greatly for what he has done for me. Positive experience: Dental nurses and admin were lovely however, the experience I had with a new inexperienced dentist was terrible. A great deal of work was required by another in house Senior Dentist to rectify very poor work performed by the Junior Dentist who is no longer with the clinic. Lesson learnt, never accept dental care from an inexperienced dentist that requires a competent Senior Dentist.

Fantastic experience: I would give Semaphore Dental more stars if I could. The whole team are really nice, caring and helpful. They are great with ASD people without making us feel different. The payment plans they provide are affordable and available to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Have been going here for years. They are a friendly, professional team from the moment you walk in there. Great team at the front desk, the dentists and hygienists are very informative and willing to answer any questions/offer advice when requested. They always reassured my daughter when she was very young, and explained everything in a way she could understand, so she was never scared to go to the dentist. I currently see Brooke (Hygienist), and she's awesome. She's gentle, always checking that you're ok, plus she's friendly, and funny. Certainly helps getting your teeth cleaned an easier experience . Haven't ever had to wait long in the waiting room, and if there is ever a short wait they are always apologetic. We won't go anywhere else and I would absolutely recommend Semaphore Dental.

Fantastic experience: I make sure to attend every 6 months to keep on top of any future potential issues. Jason is such a good kind dentist. Explains everything clearly before proceeding. Brooke is absolutely fabulous. Such a lovely, happy person. Explains everything she is doing as she goes. They are also Bupa preferred! Such a lovely place. If you are nervous at all about seeing a dentist be sure to visit these two. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Wei and Vy! They are both kind and professional, always answering any questions with great patience and detail. Even when I had concerns about my son's teething, they took the time to explain everything thoroughly. The only downside is probably the parking situation.

Positive experience: I'm giving 4 stars as they are good however they are not for me. Felt judge everytime. Further they promise treatments that assist with pain however though I explained that even cleaning is quite painful, they rubbed a bit of gel on my gums. We're i go now give me numbing needle and not once have judged me. I was once told I could die of a heat attack if I don't get my teeth cleaned regularly. Great for my anxiety. Again there good and I am hypersensitive so they are just not for me hence the 4 stars. People like me should look elsewhere. I go to Dental Solutions at Woodville who are great

Fantastic experience: They booked me in with a last minute appointment. It really was the pinnacle of care, kindness, and professionalism. Following the appointment, they took the time to book me in with a specialist and provide me with literature specific to my needs. Dr Pham, sensing my trepidation with dentists, calmly explained everything and offered a bit a levity to abate my anxiety. Just outstanding.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Semaphore Dental for the last 7 years, they are always friendly and welcoming. Every staff member that I have dealt with have been great, but from day one Sarah at reception has always welcome me with a smile and as well as doing her best to accommodate any last-minute changes. Also, Nicole who does mine routine cleaning is great! She has great attention to detail and makes the process an easy one. Dr. Dustin is also great, we are working now on getting an implant done and he has been very clear and informative through the whole process. Thank, you team!

Fantastic experience: Dr Dustin Pham and Assistant were friendly, approachable, supportive and very quick during my 3x wisdom tooth extraction. I was anxious about the procedure due to my first wisdom tooth extraction at a different dentist, but I came out of the procedure happily surprised by how easy Dr Pham made it all seem. No pain due to Dr Pham checking and checking again that the numbing was working, and I can honestly say that I didn't feel the teeth being removed from my jaw. Thankyou for your expertise, skill and bedside manner Dr Pham and Assistant.

Fantastic experience: I’m a nervous patient at the dentist at the best of times. Semaphore Dental staff allocated a “same day” appointment today when I was in severe pain. The issue was quickly identified. A wisdom tooth required extraction. It was quick and painless. It’s healing well and the pain is gone. Great outcome.

My daughter is 10 and Autistic with considerable anxiety, and today we had a wobbly baby tooth that needed to be removed. The whole team were so helpful, and listened to our needs prior to the appointment. On the day of the appointment we received a courtesy call letting us know there was a bit of a wait and we could come a little later to avoid a long wait which was very appreciated. The whole process was smooth and considerate and Dr Wei was extremely efficient in offering to remove the wiggly tooth in the appointment to avoid needing another appointment. I am so relieved and thankful for the teams efforts! Thank you again!
