Our Medical Crows Nest is a well-regarded medical center in Australia, appreciated for its friendly and efficient staff. Many patients have expressed their satisfaction with the quality of care received, often highlighting the helpfulness and professionalism of specific doctors such as Dr. Ali Zahedi and Dr. Farahnaz Salehi Nia. Visitors frequently commend the clinic's bulk-billing policy, which makes healthcare accessible and affordable, especially during peak seasons like flu season.
Several clients have noted the convenience of the app to book appointments and access various services, including in-house pathology and radiology. The center also acts as a one-stop location for patients needing multiple services, enhancing the overall experience.
Key highlights of Our Medical Crows Nest include:
- Accessibility: The facility offers walk-in services, allowing patients to receive care without the need for prior appointments.
- User-friendly app: An easy-to-use app facilitates booking and tracking wait times.
- Bulk billing: A significant draw, as it accommodates patients with Medicare.
- Comprehensive services: Includes various specialist services, pathology, and dental care all under one roof.
Overall, Our Medical Crows Nest is highly recommended for those in search of dedicated medical care in a supportive environment.
Our Medical Crows Nest: Reviews
Fantastic experience: My experience in this clinic has been overwhelming positive. Sometimes the wait times are long, but you get what you pay for when seeking a GP clinic that bulk-bills. It's so difficult to find such clinics these days. I think many of the negative reviews here are unfair.
Negative experience: A lack of professionalism from staff and some doctors, as well as the reception and it’s always crowded. The quality of service is insidious. The only respectable Dr there is Dr Yu, but he is not always available. Dr Yu would be the only Dr I recommend.
Fantastic experience: My first time as walked in at this place. Festival the receptionist was helpful and she put me at the notice straight away as my health condition was bad, immediately I was sending to the observation room and the doctor came in to see me after a few minutes. Overall for me this place is great, close to home and the services are great.
Fantastic experience: I visited this clinic for the first time, and honestly, I was a bit hesitant because of the bad reviews. But I had to see a doctor urgently because my daughter had a cold. We walked in around 8:30 AM and were seen right away — no waiting at all! We saw Dr. Ali Zahedi (there are two Dr. Alis, so just to clarify). He was incredibly detailed and gentle during the consultation, both with me and my daughter. I really appreciated how he took his time and made us feel comfortable. It honestly felt like we met one of the best doctors we've ever seen. It was such a positive experience, and I’d definitely love to see him again in the future. Highly recommend Dr. Zahedi if you're looking for someone professional, kind, and thorough!
Positive experience: It is a cold and flu season. Flu shot and vaccination are good. Waiting for a doctor in the medical Center - for the safety of everyone would be good if there are free mask provide and offer to the patients who is coughing and sneezing.
Fantastic experience: Dr Farahnas Sakehi Nia was the best specialist I have ever seen . I had an excellent experience .she was incredibly helpful, thorough, and friendly throughout the entire process. Their attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made everything smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone so professional yet genuinely kind and approachable. I truly appreciated her support and would highly recommend working with them. Thank you again!
Negative experience: The app doesn't show the place in queue. I was waiting for 4:30 hours for a simple GP check up while just 7 people were before me. No respect for patients’ time!
Negative experience: I am not one to write a negative review, but after my recent experience I was completely shocked. After leaving the doctor's room, I came online to read reviews, only to find others' shared negative experiences with Dr Pulak Saha. I strongly suggest people avoid seeing Dr Saha. This is only the third time in my adult life that I have visited a doctor. It has taken me months to build the courage to go and months of others around me urging me to go, only to come out from my appointment with Dr Saha having not resolved or been given any clear guidance or support with the concerns I went in with. I had asked for recommendations as to what iron tablets should be taken for a suspected iron deficiency (1 of the 2 concerns I had gone in with). When I asked for a blood test referral, I was shouted at as to what the need for a blood test was if I knew I was iron deficient. After begrudgingly writing me the referral, I went to see the pathologist, who on the other hand, was very welcoming, helpful and informative. I returned and saw Dr Saiful Choudhury for my results. He was also very helpful and informative. My results returned a severe iron deficiency. I was told that my iron level was at 5 when it should have been at 50 and that the tablets I was taking wouldn't help and I would need an iron iffusion. Dr Saha has zero empathy. He is rude, abrupt and lacking in any professionalism. He has clearly lost his passion for his career (if he ever had any) and should retire before he dismisses the next person who is genuinely in need and may unknowingly have a serious illness.
Fantastic experience: Very happy with Dr Ali Zahedi he is the best and always cares about my family health.
Negative experience: This place just gets worse and worse. So disappointed. Walked into the dental clinic to discuss in person about a quote for treatment. Asked specific questions about pricing. Was then told to send in my proposed treatment plan from my most recent dentist at another practice in order to receive an accurate quote, which I did. Received the quote, which aligned with what I had been advised in person, and proceeded to book in on this basis. Turned up for my appointment, got in the chair, and the dentist very abruptly advised that there would be an additional consultation fee on top of the treatment price (when I had asked specifically about this before attending and had been told otherwise) and not only that but the treatment price was in fact double what had been quoted, noting "yeah they told you wrong in the email". Why would no one inform me of this prior to the appointment? Absolutely ridiculous. Such a disappointing and unprofessional experience with Dr Shevani Ramdin.
Negative experience: Rude receptionist. Have to add another unnecessary app to your phone and FORCED to agree with terms and conditions and privacy policy otherwise can go home. Words of the rude receptionist. You shouldn’t have to have a smartphone to see a doctor
Negative experience: Ridiculously overblown wait times with a virtual queue system that clearly doesn't work. Was told it was an hour wait when first arrived, that quickly blew out to 90mins before I was told I was fifth in queue. 20mins later I was assigned a doctor. I watched as plenty more than five people were called up around the office, before the 2.5hr mark struck. As I continued to wait for the doctor, people who had just joined the virtual queue were informed they had access to free telehealth calls that evening as the wait times were long. Would have loved to have been given that option 2.5hrs earlier. 2mins spent with the doctor for a test result, $9 parking fee, certainly makes you keen to visit again
Fantastic experience: Today we consulted an Endocrinologist at Our Medical (Dr Farahnaz Salehi Nia). She is by far the best medical practitioner we have ever seen in Australia. She was caring, and provided a large amount of information patiently. I will recommend her highly.
Negative experience: This medical center is getting worse. The waiting period of seeing the doctor is more than 2 1/2 hours. It was rediculous. I canceled as I have noticed the doctor wasn’t attending pt so I thought to change but the updates of having doctors from 5-10 pm kept changing as the doctors are not really around. People were waiting and frustrated! I should have brought my dinner as well whenever I get to see a doctor! So when I booked the second time because I realised the roster in the app was wrong to realise that the doctors were still the same so no one was really coming between from 5-10pm but they were on schedule but not seeing a patient. I worked as an assistant in nursing in the hospital, I worked hard diligently and respectfully but I’ve never been disrespected as this doctor named Dr Abdulbaset Elhassadi. I was trying to tell this doctor I have never known I was diagnosed with asthma, I told him I know my mother has an asthma back in the Philippines but not me. I know I have a low immune system but I have never been diagnosed as an asthmatic person so he showed me in the computer I was treated for asthma! So I realised that was probability 3 years ago that different doctor Dr Nguyen or a Vietnamese doctor who misdiagnosed me with asthma that he did wrote a prescription for me and asked me to try that medicine which did not work. So this doctor from yesterday, told me to try this out and said maybe it triggered my asthma when I got viral infection! I did agree maybe that would help me with lingering cough but that pissed me as I walked out because I know myself I don’t have an asthma! Yes I did have adenovirus and covid 19 surprisingly when I get tested the day before but surely this Dr Abdul is insensitive to show me his gesture and moved far from me as I looked at the computer if I was really diagnosed back then with asthma. I was already upset to wait for more than 2 1/2 to see a doctor and then I got mistreated that way. I would never see that doctor again! I hope this medical center would improve to manage time efficiently with their patients and hire more doctors with good ethics. By the way, Dr Kim already confirmed me that I don’t have an asthma even me knowing myself all my life, I don’t have an asthma! Please diagnose your patients right. I normally don’t do reviews but this time I will do it.
Fantastic experience: The entire practice is welcoming, efficient, and genuinely accommodating. The space itself feels calm and comforting, and every staff member I’ve encountered has been kind and professional. Dr Nasim Judaiki is a wonderful practitioner—thorough, reassuring, and someone I truly trust with my care. I’ve also had consistently positive experiences with the pathology team, who are gentle and attentive. Booking appointments is straightforward, and communication—whether by phone or in person—is always smooth. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and well-run medical environment.
Negative experience: Waited 2 hours to get a script, went to fill script at chemist, they said it was voided. Called and went in to speak to them, they said come wait another two hours for the same script. Going elsewhere in future.
Fantastic experience: Very handy app to book in and see if your preferred Dr. is in on the day/time. Pathology in site. WalkIN system. I always come back to the same doctor. He is patient and professional.
Negative experience: Doctor being deliberately obtuse. Wouldn't give a straight answer to a simple question. Really these bottom of the barrel quacks are really only good for getting new scripts. The MacDonalds of the medicine world.
Fantastic experience: The app is easy to use and the doctor is kind and approachable
Fantastic experience: Dr Mehri azghandi is the best, very professional, knowledgable and through. I will never go to other Doctor. Highly recommended. She is active listener, empathetic , efficient
Fantastic experience: Easy parking Variety of Doctors with different languages. All the facilities X-ray Dental Pathology Specialists etc Bulk Billing
Fantastic experience: Really good service to the lower North community. Everything at my fingertips through their app, test results, referrals, exams requests. Highly recommended!
Fantastic experience: Dr Kim was exceptionally thorough while having a fantastic bedside manner demonstrating him as one of the best doctors I ever seen
Fantastic experience: Friendly & helpful team at the reception. Dr Ali Zahedi’s professional and efficient approach is much appreciated.
Fantastic experience: Saw Dr Farahnaz today and she was amazing, very friendly, and easy to talk too. Highly recommended for anyone needing to see an Endocrinologist.
Negative experience: Dr Saha reminds me of my abusive father. Midway through my appointment, he looked at me and screamed “it takes 25 minutes” even though I said nothing to provoke this. He helped with one of my concerns and then tried to turn me away when I asked for a referral and screamed “it’s been 30 minutes”. I recommend seeing this doctor for a free dose of tinnitus and trauma.
Fantastic experience: The reception staff & Dr's are always very quick, friendly and helpful. There was a queue of 32 patients ahead of me when checking in on Monday evening, the receptionist offered a telehealth consult instead so I could go back home and rest. Within 20 minutes the call from the dr & medical certificate etc was done. Made all the difference
Negative experience: If you require people to use an app to book and see a doctor then make sure the app works. The app does not show you where you are in the queue or how long the doctor will be. A complete waste of time
Fantastic experience: Dr Abdulbaset is very patient, helpful, he brought me a very strong positive energy. Sometimes human get sick not only because of sickness. It can also come from our low energy or stress, dr Abdulbaset treated my heart, my mind, he makes me feel strong.
Negative experience: Lost my day at work and wasted my all day. Even that have booked the consultation in advance and sending all documents required was only communicated to me that I wouldn’t be able to realise the exam that was booked for. Terrible customer service. Should check before booking all the documentation.
Fantastic experience: Attentiveness and care. The doctor, Dr Minoo Ebrahimi, really listened and provided a clear and comforting health care plan.
Negative experience: Monday afternoon. Only 3 doctors available. 3 hour wait to be able to see a doctor. I think 1 star is generous
Negative experience: First and last time I will come to this medical centre. Reception staff don’t communicate with their patients, wait times are horrendous, they have strange ways of running the place and it’s like a morgue there.
Negative experience: Absolutely appalling experience. We visited this centre when we didn't yet have Medicare — it was a late Friday evening, and our young daughter was suffering from severe neck pain. We saw Dr Abdulbaset Elhassadi, who referred us for an x-ray. It took them five attempts to get it right. Five. For a child in pain. Dr Elhassadi assured us he'd call the next day to tell us whether everything was okay or if we needed to go to the emergency room. We paid for the x-ray and the consultation and went home — worried, but hopeful we'd get proper follow-up. He never called. By late night the next day, still anxious and with no news, I went back to the centre. The receptionist told me there would be no additional payment, and I saw the doctor again. He said everything looked fine and recommended physio if the pain persisted. When I asked for the x-ray images, he refused to print or email them, even though he had access. Instead, he went on a bizarre rant about where he's from and how much he admires Vladimir Putin. Absolutely inappropriate and surreal. And then came the real shock. Two days later, we received a message asking for payment. We assumed it was related to the initial visit. Wrong. A month and a half later, another message arrived — this time we checked the details. They were charging us A$100 for an "After Hours Surgery Consultation." Are you serious?! A consultation?! You mean the one where I had to chase the doctor myself, and he talked about Putin? And "after hours"? Only because he didn’t do what he promised — call us back! My wife called the number provided, explained everything, and was told someone would get back to us. Guess what? No one did. Again. Instead, a week later, we received another message threatening to send the case to debt collectors. This place is an absolute disgrace. Unprofessional, careless, and borderline unethical. Hippocrates would be ashamed!
Negative experience: They need to change this app and allow people to make bookings, been here for almost 2 hours, and there is still 19 in front of me. It will be 3 hours to see a doctor just to check my results. Sorry, but I won't be coming back to this place if you dont allow us to book appointments.
Negative experience: States they take walk ins, came in at 8pm with 2 hours to spare on a Saturday night and they would accept any further walk ins. Tried calling before making the 30min drive and they do not accept calls after 5pm. Absolute joke of a place
Fantastic experience: I'm very grateful to Dr. Kallan for consistently providing compassionate, caring, and professional medical advice. Her attentive approach and dedication to patient care is truly appreciated.
Fantastic experience: Visited multiply times and used different gps. Never had any issues fats effect practice with helpful gps
Negative experience: Waiting 2 hours to see a doctor for a recurring prescription so that I can get my meds is ridiculous. Not acceptable. Either put on more doctors during peak hours or let people know that it will take 2 hours. Alternatively, don’t accept more patients until your backlog is cleared. At this moment I think that even your 3.1 rating is too high. Terrible.
Fantastic experience: Great service but there needs to be daily updates as to whether there are any flu vaccines available on the day. I travelled from a distance to find there weren’t any available till the following week. So had to travel all the way back. L
Negative experience: The booking process and wait times are indeed great, but quality of care is terrible. We went there with my husband 4 times. We were not happy with any of those visits! 1. My husband and I got referrals for tests- that was the most pleasant visit 2. We went to pick up results: I was misdiagnosed and got antibiotics for viral infection and when I raised that it doesn't sound right, doctor said: well, ok, don't take antibiotics then. My husband on the other hand has been by dr Saha and sent to RNSH Emergency as apparently his CT scan was so bad that required immediate intervention: we spent 6 hours WAITING on Emergency just be discharge with referral for MRI...this was obviously not a case requiring emergency! 3. I went for quick visit to collect referrals for blood work. I was impressed how lovely the doctor was, untill... The next day I went for the blood test just to discover that she ticked "private" not "bulk bill" for whatever reason, even though I have Medicare a d should be covered! Douglas Pathology wanted to charge me $200!!!! I called the clinic but this doctor wasn't at work, so I was adviced to come in and let other doctor fix it.... 4. So I came! With very simple request: please re-generate same referral for bloods and just tick "bulk bill" instead of "Private" - that's all. This doctor- dr Saha- the most unprofessional so called doctor- just sent me back to pathology with same referral without changing anything! I said, I'm not doing the bloods now as I'm not fasting (it was 6:30pm and I came after work). All I wanted eas for him to amend the error made by other doctor the week prior and just change the billing - he couldn't get what my resuest was!!!! Lovely lady from pathology came with me to translate English to English plus I literally shouted out of frustration. He finally got it! So so so frustrating the whole unnecessary stress!!! Please dr Saha change the profession!!!
Positive experience: While the practice set up, app and receptionists was great and efficient and pleasant, the first doctor assigned to my daughter (Dr Saha) was bordering on misogynistic as he refused to issue a medical certificate to my sixteen year old who skipped school as she was struggling with bad menstrual cramps. Receptionists, however, were great with helping her to arrange to see a more understanding doctor immediately to get her documentation for school sorted.
Fantastic experience: Dr Amy Ho is very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. I have seen her since 1992.
Negative experience: The nurses here change frequently. We just went for our influenza jabs with our 2 yo this morning. The nurse was very impatient and didn’t advise us on how to securely hold a child down prior to his jab. Our 2 yo moved when the needle went in. However, doctors here are great.
Fantastic experience: I’ve visited Our Medical Crows Nest multiple times. It’s a large medical centre where you can have your x-rays, blood tests, dental … all done in one place. Also found my favorite GP there, not mentioning his name, as waiting time to see this doctor has been increasing lol. They have an App where you can book your appointments, choose between bulk billed or private. Great medical centre!
Positive experience: I had a pleasant experience here. They had lots of ultrasound appointments available, and it’s bulk-billing which is great. I was seen quickly when I arrived for my appointment, and the ultrasound report was sent to the GP promptly.
Fantastic experience: Doctors were thorough, friendly, welcoming and did not rush you out.
Negative experience: Process of checking in on the app was easy. However the doctor I saw, Dr Saha, was the most unhelpful doctor I’ve ever seen. He told me I need to monitor when symptoms occur and when I showed him I had been monitoring, he told me he there was nothing he could do as I was a new patient. I asked if there was anything at all that could help and he just told me “no”. Don’t waste your time here.
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Emily Kuan. She is very friendly, attentive to the root of the problem, and explains everything clearly. The clinic also has a clean and professional atmosphere.
Fantastic experience: As always Dr Barkowski is always on point however there is an issue with people placing themselves in the queue when they are clearly not in the medical centre waiting area or outside room
Negative experience: Really hit and miss here. Visited 3 times. First doctor was great. Very thorough and knowledgable and genuinely cared - which is why I came back. The last 2 doctors I have seen were terrible. Especially the last one where I ended up filing a formal complaint with the Practice Manager only to have them tell me that they have no quality assurance process as each doctor is an independent contractor who simply hires out the rooms, implying there is no practice oversight at this clinic. I have a heart condition and have been seeking out a new treating doctor closer to home — all I can say is if you are serious about your health be selective in who you choose amongst their list. Or just choose somewhere else.
Negative experience: I had a doctor appointment here tonight. Waited more than 2 hours just to see a useless doctor ever (Dr. Pulak Saha). He told me that i need to go to emergency after 2 hours of waiting and didn't help me with giving a proper antibiotics that could work for my problem, only gave amoxicillin (seriously???with my condition?). Would not recommend this Doctor to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Was a 2 hours + wait time to see a doctor which was very unfortunate but the doctor I had - Mark was very helpful, assisting my recovery.
Negative experience: I usually don’t write reviews, but I was disappointed with my experience with Dr. Pulak Saha. His attitude was dismissive, and his approach felt unhelpful. I requested a medical certificate for the following day, as I wasn’t physically able to work, but he only issued one for the day I visited after I had already finished work, making it pointless. When I asked for one covering the next day, he told me I’d have to return to the medical center again. Given that wait times can be over an hour, with many other patients needing medical attention, this felt unnecessary. Additionally, he printed a pathology form for a urine test but didn’t provide any instructions or a sample container until I specifically asked. It seemed like he expected patients to already know the process. This review reflects my experience with this doctor, not the entire medical center or its staff.
Negative experience: I have been here several times and with the exception of the more mature Asian lady at front desk, the customer service staff appear lethargic and unhelpful. The app failed to work to schedule my appointment, as was the case with the lady in front of me, very reluctantly did the young man manually book the appointment. While waiting, another woman enquired several times where pathology is and he no idea, despite there being a sign pointing to the rear of the practice. This man has been he long enough to know better. Also, people attending a GP practice are often elderly and not tech savvy. They should be met with someone who is warm and willing to assist. More training, more front office staff with computers, and a culture of assistance, not resistance is needed.
Fantastic experience: Admin process was frictionless. Cost can't be beat (bulk billed). Terrific visit with Doctor Ferrier.
Fantastic experience: Without being hyperbolic, Dr Judaki's attention to detail has most likely saved my wife's life. I don't know if this is something I'll either forget or be able to repay. I will live in her debt forever.
Negative experience: I would not recommend this medical centre. It is impossible to have your call answered. I had a Telehealth appointment and waited 1.5 hours for the call.
Negative experience: They don't answer the phone on weekends so the only way to try to get in is to turn up. Turned up just before 9pm and they weren't taking patients.
Positive experience: The walk in experience is easy but as Andre Bee mentioned they do not answer calls. I have been trying all day with both Pathology and general enquiries.
Fantastic experience: Very convenient! I didn’t need to leave my house when I was feeling sick to get a doctors assistance
Fantastic experience: An amazing practice with amazing patients and very helpful reception staff who go out of the way to help dr. Amy ho is very nice
Fantastic experience: The young man at the service desk was so helpful with using the app to login and the wait time was less than 30 minutes
Fantastic experience: “I had an amazing experience at Our Medical Center, thanks to Shiv at reception. From the moment I walked in, he was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. He handled everything efficiently, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. His friendly demeanor and attention to detail truly made a difference. Exceptional service like this is rare, and I really appreciate it. Thank you, Shiv!”
Fantastic experience: Twas an anazing experience at the crows nest practice, doctor was very patient and knowledgable, well trained staff and amazing receptionists with quick and efficent service, specially the doctor in room 18 and the male receptionist
Negative experience: Avoid *Dr Saha*. I went in for a routine GP appointment and asked him to check 3 ailments. He said he would only check the 1 that I was most concerned about. There could be a difference between what I'm most concerned about and what requires the most attention from a medical professional's perspective... One would have thought it's better for a doctor to fully evaluate their patient and then make a call. Dr Saha said I would need to make another GP appointment to get the other 2 ailments checked. How rediculous? This doctor clearly doesn't care for his patients. It's quite disconcerting and disappointing.
Negative experience: Don't bother calling this medical centre for any type of inquiries and waste your precious time because no one would ever answer your call even though the recorded answering service tells you that they answer calls between the working hours (I pressed option No. 7). Then after 20 minutes or so, the call gets disconnected. Yesterday, I was at a government department with my doctor's documentation and I could not get the job done because the doctor's Provider Number was incorrect! What kind of doctor does not know her own Provider Number! This is not professional whatsoever. I wonder what other kind of mistakes they make with their patients! I called the medical centre between 3PM and 5PM five (5) times - while I was at a government department - to obtain the correct Provider Number of the doctor but each time the call was disconnected after listening to a boring recorded message and annoying music. So, today, to get the job done, I was forced to take time off from work so that I could go to the medical centre in person to sort out this unacceptable issue. When I arrived, I informed the receptionist of this matter and asked her if she could pass on my message / complaint to the management to rectify this matter. She replied to me that if I do not like it, I can go somewhere else, and refused to serve me! She actually walked away from her desk! What a great professional attitude and response to a patient who wants to provide feedback to the management of the medical centre! What a customer service!
Negative experience: It's like a meat factory. The staff have no care factor they just want to churn you through. Their policies and procedures are rigid, don't prioritise patients and are designed to benefit themselves. Mass production healthcare at its best. The positive thing they offer is the ability to access appointments on a walk in basis at a wide range of times. The only staff there that I would recommend are their medical imaging practitioners.
Positive experience: I have been coming to this clinic for a few years and the doctors have all been great, along with the physio, Aiden (couldn't recommend him more). The one short fall of the clinic is the receptionist, one in particular as I know there are a few. Every time I have been here waiting (and she has been on) she speaks rudely to people including a “what” just earlier this week as a way of addressing someone who approached the desk, isn’t helpful when you ask questions, and is on her person phone looking down ignoring people when they approach the desk. I feel like management should be aware of this and I am unsure how to let them know other than to leave this review.
Negative experience: Came in as a walk in, and went straight in (wild, because it’s usually a 2-3 hour wait), YAY- nek minnut... I asked for a refill of my routine meds, and was told ‘wow, you have many issues dont you’, (guess I’m not asking for a mental health care plan this appointment!).. it got worse from there. I asked for insight into any low cost dermatologist options, they laughed and said ‘I don’t know’. The cherry on top? They’re the skin specialist GP. Straight forward ‘I have skin patterning on arm and upper back’ took 5 turns of ‘no, not my legs’. Avoid unless you already know exactly what you want, or are ready for a laugh.
Fantastic experience: The facilities were great and clean, the process very efficient and Dr Gonabadi was absolutely amazing.
Negative experience: Don’t answer phone, must download app and go through crazy confusing process to register app. What a world! Oh and you need to join their silly membership. And it’s $90 an appointment but it’s not disclosed anywhere and they say they bulk bill? Worst doctor in Australia???
Negative experience: I paid $100 for a medical appointment and test. They told me I could call for the results after 48 hours, and they would connect me with a doctor who would advise me on the next steps since I am leaving the country. However, I have already spent two hours on hold, and no one is answering the phone. This has been incredibly frustrating and has affected my mental well-being. I will be requesting a refund. I do not recommend this medical center—go somewhere that values its customers and treats them with respect.
Negative experience: Worst experience. Rude doctors that don't seem to care at all (can't tell if they're just lazy or inexperienced). Would only come here for prescription refills
Fantastic experience: Dr. John Kim always takes care of me and my wife with the utmost care and effort. I truly appreciate his dedication and professionalism!
Fantastic experience: LOVE the efficiency! I literally downloaded the app and was allocated a seat and was in within 5min. Doctor was fast and effective, got my blood test straight away at the same place and they booked me in for ultra sound. The next day was also exactly on time no waiting. Everyone was super professional, fast and efficient. Will be coming here again! Thank you for this experience!
Negative experience: This time waiting was very short, instead of the usual 1 and 1/2 hours. Told the receptionist and got put next in the queue with that same doctor. So far so good, but then he would not prescribe me the script blackmailing me to do blood test and only after that tomorrow would give me the script. I have been taking this medicine a very long time, and this action looks to me more a blackmail, to charge an exam more to medicare, than something needed. I am never again going in that medical center, if we can call it so, and hope it closes soon. Very unprofessional and money oriented. I will go to another place even better paying if i have to. Don t like them any at all. Its like they remember of you and they punish you if you dont do what they say.
Negative experience: Saw Dr Pulak Saha. Needed treatment for removal of cyst infected. Told to find somewhere to get it removed. Call up dermatologist to request immediate removal but all booked and was advised to see a GP, they should be able to do it. Waste of time..
Negative experience: Trying to get my 4-month-old vaccinated as per the vaccination schedule. This involves a walk-in with an indefinite wait for a GP (the baby must attend, apparently, despite no care being required on the part of the GP - they just send her to the nurse), followed by an indefinite wait for a nurse to administer the shot. Potentially hours in waiting rooms. Joke of a system, which messes around parents and babies for seemingly no reason (or more likely a ridiculous, administrative, bureaucratic decision with no consideration for the patient at all). Please figure out a way to make it better.
Negative experience: Great if you need a prescription fast. That’s about it. They just churn out as many patients as possible in the shortest amount of time. Dr Saha offered me no advice after tests came back inconclusive despite still being in pain. Did not ask me any questions or offer any expertise. Just said come back in 3 days or go to hospital if it got worse. Zero empathy, zero professionalism, zero communication.
Fantastic experience: Fabulous centre, GPs are available 7 days to 10pm, download the app to check in. Pathology and X-rays are here too.
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff with a great sense of humor greet you. Short wait time during my visit. The medical staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable.
Negative experience: I gone there due to some insect bite rashes, unfortunately it was not a pleasant experience. I just told the doctor that I am not sure its mosquito bite however I had an antihistamine due to itching but his reply was really awkward like you are not sure that's why you are here, I am a doctor I am sure about it, you are not sure that's why you have to listen. I am giving you some antibiotics and antifungal medications it should be reduce by 2 days if not you should go to ED. if you are not sure and don't trust me also you can go to ED. well, thank you for the medications but you are not a good doctor you don't know how to listen and speak with your patient, try to behave kindly and professionally. patients are coming there because they have some medical issues try to understand that next time. I am not mad that I will come there just for fun at 9pm. I am not sure whether its a mosquito bite or any other insect bite I just mentioned that but I don't think the way you communicated was good, most important thing which I didn't tell you at that time is I am also a NURSE. How come you are sure which insect bite me? Did you seen that? NO. you are also a human being right. if you are sick and some other medical staff will speak like this.. how you will react?
Positive experience: The process runs smoothly seeing a GP, always a queue but you get through reasonably quickly. I waited 25 minutes to get an x ray despite being the first person in the queue. Radiologist walked in at 8.15am for a 8am appointment with no one else before me. Is this what they teach in medical school?
Negative experience: This place has become a joke. Terrible communication and doctors seem to just sit in their office asleep while we all wait - with no information on when we’re likely to be seen. Never again
Negative experience: Its a miracle if they answer the phone. Been chasing up test results for over 2 weeks Rude inpatient aggront receptionist Avoid this place unless you just need a drs note
Negative experience: Think before you wanna go here as they are not considerate. My husband and I were there today at 9:25 and they close at 10pm with just one doctor available and 2 patients still to be seen. The receptionist informed us the doctor may not be able to see you but didn’t bother to inform the doctor that there is a patient waiting. We did inform him that I am 8 months pregnant and if we end up going to the emergency room we would have to wait longer and it’s not easy for me to wait there with my husband for that long so please inform the doctor and we won’t take too long as we just want to see if my husbands rash is contagious or not. The receptionist after constantly being asked by us to inform toe doctor agrees to inform the doctor at 9:45 and the doctor who wasn’t ready to see us said I am sorry but I can’t without realising the urgency of the situation and we did request we just need 2mins so that my husband and I know our baby is safe. So please think before you go here. As people don’t really care if the child is safe or not.
Fantastic experience: Very convenient and efficient. Saw a good doctor on weekend holiday period. We were able to get a CT scan done in-house there right after and came back for the results later that day.
Negative experience: The worst medical centre and customer service. They left me waiting for 2 hours without bothering to say that the doctor already left! Reception staff are like robots and refuse to admit they are wrong. What a waste of time!
Positive experience: No booking, walk in and GP check in on their app, everything was fast and smooth. So you can meet a GP here then go to pathology in 30mins time. Unfortunatley, their ultrasound has no female staff.
Fantastic experience: These people are amazing all customer care, radiologist and doctors. They help people in the community with respect even when you are walking in without an appointment. I was consulted by a doc, done X-ray in 45 min for an emergency walked out with everything bulk billed. Yes it was $0 gap. They are like a mini hospital. Thank you for being there for us.
Negative experience: waited for 2 hours on the phone for Telehealth booking. Once Telehealth booking was finally done, the doctor failed to call me. Using the help function on the app is useless. I'll never come back here again for its inefficiency.
Fantastic experience: Walked in without an appointment (well they don’t take appointments anyway) and saw a GP and radiologist right away, all fully bulk billed. The longest wait was figuring out the check in app. This is a hard act to follow!
Fantastic experience: Excellent doctor, everything perfect, I absolutely recommend. Puts the patient at ease. Very attentive to perceiving the problem and understanding how to talk to the patient, very professional and very simple explanation that makes the problem understand very well. serious and very welcoming studio.
Fantastic experience: Grateful to have a local doctor that is bulk billed with Medicare it’s so hard to find nowadays. Doctors are professional and caring and clean. They have a good dental deal too at the moment
Positive experience: Update: well it was good until it wasn't. I just heard by chance that Dr Ingram has left the Medical Center without any communication to his patients. Changing specialists is usually a long and costly process, and likely even moreso in the xmas/new year period. === previous 5 star review === It's pretty extraordinary to be able to get a walk in bulk billed GP visit after 9pm on a Sunday. The waits vary and are definitely longer in the evening because the only other option is the hospital - where you're likely to wait much longer. If it's not an emergency, you can avoid long waits by visiting after lunchtime on weekdays. Special mention to Dr Ingram. He has a relatively short wait time for appointments and he doesn't run behind schedule. He'll also go above and beyond to assist his patients in exceptional circumstances.
Negative experience: Humiliating and disappointing experience received from a consultation with Dr George Berkowski - basically sends the message that as a doctor I don’t care how you as a patient could fall sick/ your well being is not of my concern, I’m here to do a job which is to get through this consultation and get paid. I respect doctors a lot, it’s a profession of high regard and great honour, I look up to people who can heal and take care of others’ well being. This consultation experience is an eye opening education. Will aim to work hard and contribute more funding into our medical system, so hopefully you and I will all have genuine and great doctors that takes good care of our loved ones and nobody will have to go through bad consultation experience again.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic service friendly and helpful doctors. Best part of it it's organised so don't have to wait too long to see a doctor. I would highly recommend this medical centre.
Fantastic experience: Amazing doctors who actually care about their patient. They go above and beyond! Service is quick and very thorough. Thank you for an amazing medical centre!
Fantastic experience: I feel very lucky to have found Dr Nasim Judaki! She is patient with me and very knowledgeable about women's health. I feel like I'm in very good hands. Thanks, Dr Judaki :)
