Fantastic experience: It is hard to overstate the level of service and professionalism at St Lucia. From my very first appointment nearly a year ago until now, every single element has been so well handled, managed, and run. My dentist, Dr. Jan, is kind, caring, considerate, and absolutely at the top of her game. She offers constant advice and various options for all my care and procedures, sympathises with all the little details within each choice, and is a delight every time I walk into the room. Dr. Jan even noticed a small chip or crack in a tooth while performing another procedure that I had completely forgotten about since my previous visit only a few weeks earlier. She performed a very complex wisdom tooth extraction with great expertise and, as always, offered detailed advice for aftercare. The support team on reception are always wonderful to deal with. In person, they are kind and friendly, and they call before and after each appointment to confirm that all is okay and that, post-procedure, everything is going as expected. The facility itself is always immaculately clean with modern, well-maintained equipment. End to end, this practice is about as good as you could hope for, and it’s the reason I’ve been happy to return so many times this year to sort out the issues I needed taken care of. I can’t thank the whole team enough. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Angus is an amazing dentist — kind, patient, and truly caring. Yesterday our daughter had an accident at a park and hit her front teeth. Being a Sunday, it was almost impossible to find a dental clinic open, until we found this place that offered emergency care. When we arrived, there was no one at reception at first, but a kind gentleman came out, listened to what had happened, and immediately called the emergency number. Shortly after, we were invited in — the clinic was very clean and well organized — and asked to wait. Then Dr. Angus arrived, and his care was truly exceptional. Fantastic experience: Saw Dr Angus Quinn to remove 3 impacted wisdom teeth (2 top, 1 bottom). I was a little nervous but wow, there was no need to be. Angus clearly knows what he is doing and has a lot of experience/ knowledge. I hardly felt the numbing needles and the extraction was so quick, it took maybe 15 minutes but it honestly felt like I was in the chair for 2 minutes. It was over and done with so fast. I had zero swelling in recovery and I couldn't even tell that my 2 top ones got taken out haha. I’ve healed so fast and well, so that must be because of skill. Followed the instructions and felt good in a few days. Angus is very friendly and confident, Jodie on reception and his dental assistant on the day (sorry I forgot your name) were so lovely as well, even called to check in how I was recovering. Was affordable & accepted my health insurance, and the clinic is so nice and clean! I will definitely be recommending this dentist & Dr Angus to others and will be coming back. Thanks again for making time and fitting me in so soon and doing a great job on my removal! ✨

Fantastic experience: The experience I've had at St Lucia dental has made me feel good about taking care of my oral health. Not only do they make it easy to schedule and fit you in, when you're a little bit tardy, but the care that they show as a family run practice is evident. The skill of the lead dentist Angus is quite high, and the other staff are also noteworthily friendly. Not only is the place aesthetic, but they offer the personal service and honest advice on insurance and costs around wisdom teeth removal which was my experience.

Negative experience: I used to be very happy with this service, but since Dr. Brent has left and Dr. Agnus himself is not available, I feel there is a lack of experience. I have collected enough evidence for this, and I am finally moving to another clinic. With my mom, she had a tooth that was infected and needed to be extracted, but Dr. Ruben delayed this decision for a year and did not inform my mother of the implications of keeping the tooth. She ended up begging me to change the dentist and we visited Dr. Dean, who said it needed to be immediately removed. I asked for my mom's files to understand why the decision was not made all this time, and they have ignored my request. If I ask my mom, Let's go to St Lucia Dental, she would scream. Recently, my son had an accident. I took him immediately there, and the dentist gave me the hardest scare of my life, saying the bone is broken and the adult tooth is most probably affected. I could not walk after the session. We went to a pediatric dentist, and they said it is quite low harm. That’s when I decided I won’t come back.

Fantastic experience: I have been so lucky to have been recommended St Lucia Dental years ago. I paid the price of neglecting my teeth( particularly during the 70’s). I have had a few different dentists, but mainly Dr Angus. Non the past I have had bad experiences with dentists but Angus has made my visits very pleasant. I have had major work done in the past 5 years, and Angus has worked wonders with the issues. Very modern practice with wonderful staff who can easily accommodate my needs. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: A nice building but a few things fell below expectations. 1. Changed my original appointment without notifying me until I arrived there with another dentist and 20 mins delayed, I went prior to my original appointment time and ended up waiting even longer. 2. The dentist is ok but the dental assistant is not professional that are more keen to walk further away to clean the room while I was still on the dental chair and need some help post my procedure. 3. For such a nice building, I don’t quite understand why their dental chairs are not fully featured that don’t have integrated water supply (e.g., no cuspidor or built-in basin). They were getting tap water from the sink and used a separate suction line and when I had to spit, I had to hold another suction tube from the dental assistant myself. I was advised that using external taps instead of self-contained waterlines can raise infection control concerns if not carefully managed. While the clinic is aesthetically impressive, I felt the service and the setup didn’t offer the same level of comfort or efficiency as some others. Not a bad experience, but something to be aware of if you’re used to more integrated dental setups and more comfortable experience.

Negative experience: Read the negative reviews re more complex dental procedures. Personally I had a very bad experience with Dr Ruben (and St Lucia dental practice) with an infected root canal tooth as I was given no pain medication (just in case) after a complex removal of an infected tooth and also knowing that I was travelling overseas to a remote area in Africa. I was very thankful that he completed the extraction as it was very complicated but the assistant was not very gentle/precise so even though I was finally numb during the procedure it was uncomfortable and my tongue was cut by accident. I called the next day and told them the extraction pain did not feel normal but they gave me nothing and didn’t ask me to come in for a check before flying - just to use nurofen & panadol. After getting an acute dry socket infection on the plane (I’m also a mother and travelling w 2 young children) I can tell you antibiotics and nurofen combo does nothing for this type of pain - I have never experienced this kind of pain in my life. I had to go to a dentist in Africa (but it took days to get to her) and she was incredible and highly skilled and helped me as she needed to open up the hole again as it was very badly infected. She was not able to numb the hole as it was very badly infected so the pain was like nothing I have ever experienced. I feel that the recovery and after care following my root canal tooth extraction was seriously lacking in a duty of care with no offer of treatment (check before flying) or pain meds from the dentist and the practice. Since our return from holiday they didn’t bother to deal with my concerns and the manager appeared not to be across any of the details when I talked to her again on the phone.

Even though I moved away from St Lucia years ago, I continue to return because the staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is consistently excellent, and they genuinely care for their patients. A special shout out to Madonna too who was always so warm when welcoming us to the practice. All the dentists here have been fantastic over the years. I especially want to mention Dr Angus Quinn, who used to look after my elderly father. Dad was very fond of him, and we truly appreciated the care and respect he always showed. More recently, Dr Ruben Sivajah has been looking after my dental health. He’s incredibly thorough, patient, and always takes the time to answer any questions or concerns I have. I'm very fortunate to have a dentist who is not only kind but absolutely brilliant at what he does. It’s a practice I continue to trust and genuinely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Recently i have been under the care of Dr Ruben and Dr Katie for ongoing issues with my TMJ Dr Ruben has been treating me with masseter Botox to reduce clenching and grinding and Dr Katie made me a grinding guard for sleep. Both providers have been so helpful during all my appointments helping me through my dental anxiety's, actively listening and taking extra care to address all of my concerns making me feel really at ease and heard. As well as this rather than just telling me i needed work done they both took the time to explain and teach me why treatment was personally relevant which was a very reassuring. She was understandably a bit nervous going in, and even shed a few tears, but the team made all the difference. Katie and Lauren were amazing – they spoke to her in such a calm, reassuring way, and their kindness truly helped put her at ease. Katie and Lauren were incredibly gentle, and my daughter didn’t even feel the local anesthetic injection! She felt no pain at all, which was a huge relief for both of us. Fantastic experience: On October 29, 2024, I had an emergency appointment for tooth pain. It’s always difficult for everyone to decide where to go for the best care and results when we don’t have a trusted clinic. I began my research and found St. Lucia Dental, a very nice clinic with friendly staff. Dr. Angus treated me; he was very professional, and the result was the removal of my wisdom tooth. The best part is that I never felt any pain at all, neither during the anesthesia nor when the tooth was removed. I want to highlight Dr. Angus’s professionalism and the excellent care I received. If anyone is looking for a reliable place for their dental health, this is undoubtedly the best choice.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Ruben Sivarajah is exceedingly professional and thorough in his patient-centred approach, taking the time to explain every procedural detail while making you feel at ease in the chair. His extensive knowledge, and integrity sets him apart. I have been seeing Dr. Sivarajah for three years and he has always made me feel comfortable and relaxed, especially when getting my wisdom teeth removed. Fantastic experience: Dr Angus Quinn is hands down the best dentist in Australia. I’m a very reluctant, nervous patient. He not only has dealt with my anxiety but cruised through fixing all my dental issues as well. I recently had two fairly complicated procedures done and he made it feel like a walk in the park. I took some analgesics when I got home but didn’t feel any pain whatsoever during my recovery. No hesitation in recommending Dr Quinn at all. 100/10 Lynda Ryan

Fantastic experience: I met Dr.Dean a couple of weeks back when my crown was dislodged while flossing. He looked at the same and did the basic X-rays ( as I was a new patient -standard protocol), filing the sharp edge until the new crown were to be installed and took me in as a patient. Went back today to get the new crown installed, a filling and some cleanup work. All done in about an hour. He is a fantastic doctor ably assisted by Angela and other staffs, he sure knows how to treat his patients well. It would be a blessing to get him to work on one’s teeth.Dr.Dean communicates very well and informs about the process and checks to confirm the well being of the patient ( me in this case ) as he works on the procedure. The local St.Lucia community is very blessed to have him tend to him. He is turning 21 ( plus a few years ;) this Sunday ) Wishing him a very very happy birthday and pray that he is surrounded by wonderful family and great friends always and continues with his service to all of wo/mankind and the society forever. In addition to him the front office is Wo/manned by some great people who have very positive and infectious smile. Jody, Savannah are such sweet hearts and explained to us how the insurance and billing works and helped assist with the same. I did get introduced to Hana as well today who handled my bill in a professional manner. Very thankful to have been treated by such an excellent team. St.Lucia dentists should be very proud to have such wonderful people in their team. Wishing them the very best in continuing to give beyond excellent service to the community around them. Fantastic experience: I have only been to this dentist since being up in Queensland 11 years . They are the best try very hard to please you . Dr Rubin is so nice , the office staff are bright and cherry all the time . I have dreadful teeth coming from nz where they had dental nurses who just drilled for the sake of it . So now trying to keep what teeth I have xx

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient there and had an amazing experience! The receptionists are amazing. Jodie was so friendly and welcoming. I went in for a checkup and needed a filling. Dr Green is my dentist and she did an amazing job answering my questions/concerns and explaining what she was doing and why. I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. She is very professional and knowledgeable. The dental assistant Lauren was also super helpful and friendly. Dr Green and Lauren worked really well together. Would definitely recommend!!! :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr Dean Beste over the last couple of weeks and I’m extremely impressed by not only the quality of his dentistry but also his chair side manor. Recently he fixed my chipped front tooth where the repair is seamless and basically identical to my tooth prior to chipping. Further thanks to his assistant Kyrillos for also helping making this appt an enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for a dentist who genuinely cares I highly recommend Dr Dean and St Lucia Dental as a whole, it’s a very modern, clean clinic with convenient location and very helpful/friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Jarryd for my son's dental care, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. Jarryd did an excellent job interacting with my son, making him feel comfortable and at ease during the procedure. He successfully filled three cavities with great care and patience. We have an extraction scheduled for next week, and I have no doubt it will be just as successful as I prepare my son for the upcoming experience. The clinic itself is fantastic. Jodi at the front desk was incredibly helpful, explaining the entire process and taking the time to address all our concerns. Her warm and caring demeanor added to the positive experience. This experience has truly changed my perspective on dental care. What I once viewed with apprehension, I now see as a positive and reassuring process, thanks to the exceptional care and attention provided by Jarryd and Jodi. As an added bonus, I also saved lots of money by not having to go to outpatient care or require general anesthesia for my son's treatments, which was a significant relief. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic and Jarryd for anyone in need of dental care, especially for children. They truly go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and successful visit. With my son's experience at St Lucia Dental he doesn't have fears visiting the dentist. As parents that's a huge win for us. Thank you St Lucia Dental!
