Negative experience: Hopeless, uncaring and pathetically bad service. Don't think you can call and ask a question .put on hold till you hang up WAKE UP AUSTRALIA! Do we want this rubbish as our health "care" What a joke!

Negative experience: Very much hit and miss with the Dr’s. Today was a 1 hour and 48 minute wait only to be told to get over the counter medication even though I explained what I took last time. Zero to no compassion

Negative experience: This medical Centre is terrible. I’m on a waiting list for surgery as my doctor’s away. They have made me jump through three other doctors and booted me from the Our Medical.

Negative experience: Staff are not helpful, what ever your problem they don’t care and keep saying that you have to wait there is a queue …

Fantastic experience: The doctor was fantastic, but the waiting room was absolutely freezing!

Negative experience: Front desk staff before 5pm told me I had to wait to see a gp for repeat prescriptions but after a few hours wait the new after 5pm lady so no, I could’ve used telehealth so I waited for hours unnecessarily she said and sincerely apologized to me.

Fantastic experience: Dr Geralize Schoeman is a very caring and thorough Doctor. Dr Schoeman listens, asks questions and is very empathetic, her bedside manner and reassurance is something I have not seen in the medical profession in a long time.. I can say that the practice is extremely busy but she is worth waiting to see.

Fantastic experience: I love the app. Makes checking the doctors rosters and appointments easy.

Negative experience: Awful place, old lady at the reception is just to lazy and tells everyone to download de app and book online, the doctor we saw seems like just had a stroke. Slow speech, even slower typing, not familiar with the computer, asking the same questions twice, over done everything except for the referral which was the only reason we were there for.

Fantastic experience: Convenient, professional & friendly with excellent medical services provided.

Negative experience: So they won’t tell you how many people are waiting or where you are on the list. So you can’t make an informed decision to stay or come back another time. Zero service.

Fantastic experience: Really helpful when we have needed urgent care that doesn't require a hospital visit, usually after normal hours when our usual GP is not available. It is not always quick to be seen because it is often busy but the waiting room is comfortable and it is far faster than sitting at A&E. The doctors are very helpful and there is also some access to emergency care e.g. ECG which helps decide if you may need more urgent care or to be seen at hospital.

Fantastic experience: I visited Our Medical in Ashmore and was really pleased with the experience. The app and messaging services made everything super convenient. The young lady at reception was calm, friendly, and handled some difficult people like a pro. Although the wait was a little long, that’s to be expected at a walk-in clinic, especially on a Sunday. As for the doctors, Dr Wahab was fantastic! He had a great sense of humour, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be back if I need care on a weekend again.

Fantastic experience: The doctor I had was excellent, very thorough and caring, definitely recommend. Got an appointment quickly as well.

Negative experience: I had a very upsetting experience with a doctor at Ashmore Our Medical on 28th June 2025. I visited the clinic to request a support letter for legal CBD oil to manage my chronic anxiety. Instead of being met with understanding, I was accused of smelling like marijuana — an unfounded and inappropriate assumption. I have never used marijuana, and as a bond cleaner, I had been working in an Airbnb the day prior which may have had lingering odours. This interaction triggered my PTSD and caused a significant relapse in my OCD, leaving me anxious, distressed, and emotionally unsafe in a setting that should have offered support. Patients with mental health concerns deserve to be treated with care and respect — not judgement or belittlement. I would not recommend this clinic to those seeking compassionate or trauma-informed medical care.

Fantastic experience: Went to Dr Pang (skin Dr) for small lesion already excised with a small punch - but more possibly underneath. He was kind enough to give me a month to think about it. This gave me time to consider and be brave if further incision necessary on my nose. I went back after the month and it was decided to burn the area instead of cutting more away. I was very relieved and thankful.

Fantastic experience: Julie on the front desk is amazing always so helpful and kind. Thank you also to the doctors and staff for the assistance you give to the local community. It’s is appreciated.

Negative experience: Left a sick baby in the waiting room for 2 hours until he went into respiratory distress and had to go to hospital. People working here need to understand babies deteriorate very quickly and he should have been prioritised. Not good enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr Lassig was kind, caring, professional and thorough. The waiting time was not too bad considering the number of patients waiting and it is all bulk-billed.

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. As an Australian born citizen I was refused medical care at this clinic. I have never experienced such lack of empathy at a doctor’s office in my life. The receptionist with the short blonde hair refused to book me in with a doctor Friday night, even though I had a valid Medicare card that I showed her that clearly states it doesn’t expire until 2026. Her excuse on not providing me medical care was that “it’s out of her control” which I think it’s utterly ridiculous considering I provided everything I needed to legally be entitled to medical care. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

Fantastic experience: Great doctors, good customer service, always helping me out. I have my own doctor, so good.

Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Love recently and was very happy with the level of treatment and care I received. I was in and out of the building within 30 minutes and very happy with the level of service and efficiency. Will be back :)

Fantastic experience: I would love to see Our Medical services throughout Australia. The service and no appointment necessary. I had been in Tasmania and you could not see a doctor without an appointment and by the time you could get to see a doctor the ailment was was almost gone and had to suffer through it. What's the use of that! Our Medical is doing everything right.

Negative experience: Dr skilbeck is extremely rude, avoid All other doctors I've experienced here are friendly, welcoming and lovely. Can wait up to 2h for an appointment however

Fantastic experience: Excellent care one stop shop. Very caring can see ur regular doctor when. Needed . Can see any Dr if it’s urgent. Skin checks I Nice waiting area plenty of room

Fantastic experience: Generally staff are pleasant; clinical staff are very attentive and understanding. I have found that doctors listen closely and are genuinely interested; I have been very happy with my treatment throughout the 6-8 times I have attended Our Medical when my GP is unavailable.

Fantastic experience: I only had a wait time of about 10 minutes. Doctor diagnosed my condition quickly and gave a script. Was satisfied with the service.

Fantastic experience: First visit to Our Medical and I was extremely impressed with the clinic itself as very clean and bright. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and of course my doctor who has also recently moved to this practice is wonderful. The fact that it is also bulk billed is a bonus and the app I downloaded to my phone is terrific as lets you know where you are in the queue and which room your doctor is in.

Negative experience: Wait times here are terrible. The app no longer shows queue number, patients are regularly seen jumping the queue (arrive after) and reception staff are curt at best. Try another place if I was you.

Negative experience: Went to see the nurse for a procedure and she said the dr needs to do it so she will check me into the app for me. Waited and waited until I went to the receptionist to see why I had not been seen yet. Apparently the nurse didn't even check me in. The receptionist said I now have to wait again at the bottom of the waiting list!

Fantastic experience: The Medical Centre is friendly, calming and non intrusive ..you don't need to talk to reception you just login as your walking through the door and go and sit down. your doctor will call you in when the queue in front of you have been seen and dispersed. The Doctor I see is a down to earth Aussie guy and is extremely good. His name is Dr Lewis Lassig.

Positive experience: The Doctors at this medical centre are all just so lovely, polite and professional. I only gave 4 stars for the review as the waiting times can be pretty long being a walk in service. However, for the care I have received each time from the Doctors and the ladies in Pathology, they are definitely deserve 5 stars

Fantastic experience: The doctor listened to me and trusted what I was saying that I knew what was wrong with me when my current doctor of 4 years did not agree with me! After examining me he agreed and prescribed me the correct medication that I needed! It’s only been 36hrs and I’m already seeing a difference in my severe skin reaction after suffering for 4 weeks since coming into contact with a plant that is a known irritant. Thankyou for listening to me!

Positive experience: First time visit. Was aware there would be a wait so accepted that. Clinic was very busy. I was impressed with the young lady on reception who dealt with many different people, as I watched, with the same smile and patience and professionalism with each person. A credit to your establishment. When I finally got to see a doctor he was also helpful and professional with my needs. Good to know there is this service not far from home.

Fantastic experience: I have always had excellent service here and prompt referrals or pathology tests. I find the App excellent, though now and again you may not know you're place in the queue due to a glitch. You then need to listen out for your name to not miss your appointment. However, this has only happened once to me. Great service including dentist and physio too. Clean and comfortable waiting area. Open early until late and public holidays. Thank you team at Our Medical.

Fantastic experience: This new medical centre certainly gives much better service than the Holden Dealership that used to be here Dr Geraleze Schoeman and her team of wound care nurses are doing a fantastic job and the new centre ticks all the boxes for things like ease of parking and minimal waiting times. Fantastic experience: Always made welcome with a smile, i believe the doctors and nurses in my experience been great, thorough and professional.

Negative experience: Absolutely appalling. This centre has updated their check in app and apparently our phone is no longer compatible . The receptionist- Lisa begrudgingly looked at my phone when I asked her to check and she said “ it was an IT issue” I said this was hardly fair and she sarcastically replied “ I’m not personally responsible” No empathy - just a too bad attitude which at best was condescending. So despite being the first through the door I was forced to wait 1 hour Needless to say I will be looking for a new medical centre If you value your time and wish to be treated in a polite and courteous fashion then steer clear of this Medical Centre ( this was not a one off bad experience but by far the worse here )

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t have asked for a better service. My son needed stitches and we were in and out in an hour. Such a great alternative to going to hospital - thank you.

Negative experience: as a receptionist, they need to rethink there Front desk team, the young lady with blond hair is not the energy nor the attitude u need to see when u first walk in, she is very dry and honestly makes me feel like everything i say is dumb, doctors are great although

Fantastic experience: He is very patient with patients, enthusiastic in explaining the condition to us, and has rich experience.

Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. The staff are friendly, and registering is easy. No payments required as its fully bill billed. Wasn’t much of a wait, in and out quickly. Highly recommend this as the go to medical facility.

Negative experience: I've been to this medical centre many times and always found it great but the receptionist tonight was rude - to say the least. She tried to tell me I wasn't available when the Dr called me and I was the entire time. As a result I got pushed back in the que. The app was not showing which room to wait outside of and that was really confusing as it's normally a great system. It doesn't take much to pay attention or be nice to sick people coming in.

Positive experience: Our Medical has great opening hours, big waiting area , multiple services there and some great doctors. I like the app option which updates you’re waiting time. Dr Lewis Lassig is fantastic

Negative experience: Well to start off the reception lady on easter 20th of 2025 at 6:20pm yelled at me cause I asked for a wait in appointment that was said I could have on the company's voicemail never said I had to go online to make an appointment then yelled at me cause I went to the wrong door to leave because I wasn't aloud medical help for my broken arm when I was born here at southport hospital I'm thinking about sueing cause I deserve medical treatment as a queensland citizen I will not send anyone to such a terrible hospital and we know alot of important people ill send em elsewhere cause you can't even make a proper road at your facility its one way which means no one can come in great work at IT aye I could do it with my eyes shut and the lady should be sacked cause that's messed we deserve medical help no matter what

Fantastic experience: I attended today for a medical certificate for tomorrow. I was attended to by Dr. Skilbeck. Awesome doctor, have not seen her before, I hope she is a permanent for this practice.

Fantastic experience: I walked in and checked in, waiting to see the doctor, there was no hassle trying to make an appointment. Doctors and services are great.

Fantastic experience: Urgent doctor appt required 5.30pm Easter Friday Eve. Told about Our Medical and went straight there. No appt. needed and many people waiting. Didn't have to wait long and Dr Lassig was very helpful. Left with helpful directions to late night chemist nearby. Easy and exceptional result at a very painful time before 4day weekend!! Thank you. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: You’re app not working.even we don’t know what is our number in queue. No any update.still your using old method.when we come with children we are struggle without having any updates.because of doctors we are coming.otherwise useless this system and please.sorry for mentioning like this.when I come every time facing this terrible situation.even receptionist not giving answers.Not recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: New to the area I found the systems at Our Medical smooth and efficient and managed to see a doctor who is totally iun tune with me and my situation.

Fantastic experience: Good doctor, convenience of seeing a doctor without booking, availability of pathology service and a user-friendly app to see a doctor of your choice.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible experience. The customer service is beyond awful—rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. The doctors clearly don’t care about their patients at all. They’re condescending, rushed, and act like you’re an inconvenience rather than someone seeking medical care. The whole place feels like they’re just there to collect a paycheck, not actually help anyone. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being treated like a nuisance instead of a human being.

Fantastic experience: Monday morning wasn't a long wait to see the Dr. Also being able to have a blood test straight after was a bonus. Yes it was a small wait, but that's the norm. The ladies were very professional but had had a good sense of humour aswell. Great teamwork.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Peter Hawes is highly processional! He's knowledgeable, compassionate, and skilled, and I'm so grateful for his advises and attention to details.

Fantastic experience: I have been in there a few times due to regular doctor not being available for a few weeks and I have found the doctors there have been though, show empathy and even better I attended for one issue and ended up getting a blood test, ECG, counselling appointment without leaving the building and a referral with options or being informed on the most affordable path.

Negative experience: “Very disappointed with my visit. I went in after a dog attack expecting a proper examination, but the doctor didn’t even look at my wound. Dr. Bob (Bogdan) simply asked what happened and immediately prescribed antibiotics without assessing the severity of the injury or asking about my pain. There was no proper care or concern, making the visit feel like a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking thorough medical attention.” And he was probably the worst GP I have ever met in my life.

Negative experience: Cant book a doctor in advance, you have to sit and wait hours at a time. The app system only works in the centre, it would save a lot of waiting if it could be accessed from home.

Negative experience: There has been a problem with their app for about 3 weeks and when I log in it asks me for healthcare and I reported this at the reception but they did not fix it even though they said they would fix it and yesterday I had blood taken and after having it taken I wanted to see the doctor but the app was not working again I asked for help from the desk but he came to me angrily because he interrupted his lunch and told me that I could not enter without Medicare and a driver's license. I stated that I had given blood just 1 minute ago and that the doctors knew me and I stated that he was with me on the phone and that the other employee had helped me the day before and he turned it into an argument with a harsher tone and made statements like I may not have Medicare and even though I mentioned that I see a doctor here at least twice a week he spoke to me in a bad tone and then he complained so that I would never see a doctor there again. There cannot be a health center that is this ridiculous, they both do not do their job and they are also making their own mistakes. idedetioes

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Dr. Sofiya enough for her exceptional care and guidance after my car accident. She helped me get all the necessary paperwork done smoothly and ensured my friend and I received the right treatment. She meticulously arranged all our check-ups on time while minimizing out-of-pocket expenses for tests. Her dedication and support were truly remarkable. We were incredibly blessed to have her as our GP—her professionalism and kindness made a challenging time much easier. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I prefer to use Our Medical when needing to see a GP within an hour or two, much more convenient than waiting 2 or 3 days to see my other prefered GP. Our Medical at Ashmore has nice big waiting room with floor to ceiling glass along 3 walls letting in much natural light which i find comforting,

Negative experience: Dr had a bedside manner of a wet sausage. Didn’t review my 7 month old properly, gave her antibiotics and said see you in a week. Would not recommend for babies/kids.

Fantastic experience: Following Cyclone Alfred I needed to see a doctor quickly.My pharmacist recommended me to Our Medical and I was treated by a very pleasant lady who guided me through the registration process. It was fairly quiet and I didn't mind who I saw so was seen within ten minutes. I will recommend this surgery to friends .I hadn't heard of it before but will spread the word.:)

Fantastic experience: I waited less than 5 minutes, I was extremely apprehensive about seeking medical help as I find it difficult to do so essentially when I need it most but because of bulk billing and able to book an appointment online when arriving I managed to get myself there. Then the short wait kept me there before anxiety set before I will sometimes leave while waiting. Dr Bethel Skilbeck was extremely knowledgeable, professional and empathetic giving me hope and medical advice that has given me hope and immediate and ongoing needed help. I have had the most consistent and safe days following my appointment due to this clinic and especially because of Dr Bethel Skilbeck, thank you, I believe you have positively changed the outcome of my future and given peace of mind to myself and my loved ones, thank you. Fantastic experience: Dr Love was such a gentleman. I didn't feel like a number that was just rushed through like alot of other medical centres. He appeared to actually care . The Ashmore Centre was very nice, modern and spacious to be in. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility.

Negative experience: This place is the optiome of gambling, not only do you have to wait 2+ hours for a doctor, you have to be lucky on who your doctor is because some of them are so bad, mean, rude at every corner. While some are genuinely there to do what they are passionate about. Hugely understaffed. Have to get lucky for a nice receptionist. Have to get lucky with a doctor. One of the experience I did have at this place. I went to go get a vaccine and the doctor just gave me a prescription and told me pay at reception, which I did, but once I was waiting I realised he gave me the correct prescription, but wrong name and address. So I told the nurse there was an error, she called the doctor and then he was mad at me because I didn't double check the information when I was there with him. Like wtf, you just printed out a piece of paper and made me leave without me checking the details and even called my name to allow me in. Whilst other times I have been there, other doctors made sure I got everything correct before I left. If you are considering coming to this location, just don't. You will be gambling your life.

Negative experience: Went to the doctor for a very common skin issue and the bloke was literally a skin doctor and his diagnosis was “idk” but went agin to a different doctor named Wali Kamali and he was perfect told me the issue instantly. Just know if u get a middle aged Asian doctor ur cooked, the bloke is useless

Negative experience: 10% of the time it’s quick and easy most days it’s not. Your told a rough wait time but it’s never right. Was told “it’s about an hour” waited 3 and a half. A few doctors are lovely but a lot aren’t. Yes it’s bulk build but it’s still a painfully slow process. Also chairs are very uncomfortable:/ I recommend coming in when they open in the morning. But even then you might have a long wait.

Fantastic experience: Went to our medical on Sunday at 5.30pm. I was 12th in queue. It stayed at 12th for 3hrs than went down to 7th in queue. Did not get to see doctor till 9.45pm. There was not many people waiting. I was then told to go back next morning to get a covid test done. Went in at 8.30am ( the clinic was packed, waiting to see doctor) Waited until 10am to do a swap even thought I was number 3. ( took less than 5 mins) The whole waiting game is absolutely pathetic and impersonal. Time to look for another clinic.

Positive experience: Been there since 9:45 am , it’s 12pm now still waiting ,every thing is good bout here but just but understaffed.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 - Dr Love was the first ever ever Dr to take his time and listen to my symptoms and not rush me out the door.

Fantastic experience: Dr Zhao is an excellent doctor who is so good in so many categories the centre itemises. Easily the most efficient, caring, professional doctor at Our medical.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing comfortable building to sit and wait after you have registered for your DOCTOR. Staff are great. Very helpful when required at Reception. I have personally only visited the same DOCTOR three times,, and He was extremely knowledgeable I learnt a lot about my ailments, felt very comfortable write through my session. Would definitely recommend this clinic. -V.B.

Negative experience: The wait is an absolute joke. I had been waiting since 1130 and at 1250 I politely asked where I was in the queue only for a lady who looked like I had just ruined her whole day for asking, replied I was just past half way in the queue with over 50 patients still waiting. Save your time, go somewhere else.

Negative experience: First time trial after seeing lots of ads. Plz allow me to start with negative feedback. 1. GP: I optioned " first available GP." Unfortunately, this short consultation with this female GP left me with uncomfortable feeling, Despised, disrespect, rudeness.... I hope this doctor is ok. Needs to re educated how medical industry works in Australia. Worst experience in Australia in 27 yrs. 2. Medical receptionist was warm, welcoming, which inspired to try this clinic again. ( Female, shot hair, with spectacles) 3. So convenient. Car park available. Bulk billed Open till 10pm. So...my conclusion: Balance it out... Check the reviews.

Negative experience: It would be a great place if they weren’t so understaffed. Over an hour wait time every single time I go in and longer if you request one of the good doctors. Only rating this a 2 star as the pathology is excellent

Negative experience: Doctors are great but I can't believe the bathrooms are so disgusting. I mean blood on the walls, hand prints everywhere and urine puddles. This place is supposed to by hygienic. Nasty.

Fantastic experience: Took my elderly mum there at 8am last Sunday...seen within 20 mins. Dr ordered CT scan...had it at 9.30 Monday morning and received a text to say results were in. Took mum back and saw same GP...got script...extremely happy. So lucky to have this centre so close with pathology as well. Be even better with radiology.

Fantastic experience: 1st time at OUR medical Ashmore, can see why it's so popular. Big queues but moved fast. Thanks to Doc Lewis my medical issue was taken care of. Friendly staff too.
