Negative experience: Today I had one of the most degrading experiences I’ve ever had in a medical setting — at Our Medical (Annerley). I came in needing support for my mental health — specifically a mental health care plan, something I’ve accessed before. I’ve been a patient here for over 6 months. After waiting over 40 minutes, I was called in by Dr Randall Jackson, who has previously prescribed me antidepressants and referred me to a psychiatrist. He took one look at me and said: “You’re not after a mental health plan, are you?” When I said yes, he replied: “I don’t do those,” and walked me to reception. While there, another female doctor I will get the name of but don’t have currently, was standing nearby. The two of them laughed as Randall said: “You don’t wanna do a mental health plan, do ya?” I was humiliated. Laughed at. Dismissed before I even had a chance to speak. I waited again. Then Dr phillip Hue called me in and told me he couldn’t do a mental health plan at a first appointment — that “the government is very strict.” That is absolutely false. I wasn’t even asking for a plan anymore — just someone to actually listen. I was visibly anxious and upset, and when I went to the receptionist, hoping for some help or compassion, she offered none. No apology. No support. Just “sorry, can’t help.” Meanwhile, your website brags about your “compassionate GPs” who provide “non-judgmental care.” What a joke. What I received today was the opposite of care. I was dismissed, mocked, and retraumatised. No one asking for mental health support should ever be treated this way. I will be lodging formal complaints. This is not over — and I hope no one else ever has to feel what I felt walking out of your clinic today.

Negative experience: A complete waste of time. After hours of waiting, Dr Mahmood Nekooee spent not even two minutes with my four children to clear them for vaccination.The nurse find out that my four years ago is not safe to have his vaccination today however Doctor Mahmood dis not have time to check him.There was no check-up—just a few clicks on his computer, clearly focused on billing. He showed zero professionalism, had no child-friendly manner, and the clinic lacked even basic facilities like a play area or a baby change table. This level of care is completely unacceptable, especially in a first-world country.

Fantastic experience: I am a regular patient of Dr. Reza Safari. I would rate him 6 out of 5 if I could. Some other GPs in the place are not so great, but him is above and beyond.

Fantastic experience: No need of prior booking, doctors are very good , my GP Dr K Selvaraj is excellent so I am travelling 45 minutes to see her since she moved from Sunnybank hills. Dr Remita Sharma was my previous GP in Rockhampton for 7 years while I was living there she was the most wanted doctor in the town , recently joined Our Medical Annerly. Best service. Negative experience: It is shocking to me that I have called multiple time to have my documentation uploaded to my health record and the phone was not picked up once in their advertised phone answering hours. Wait times on the phone are ridiculous for a health clinic. Why have a reception if they don’t answer the phone? Especially if most people use the app to join the doctors queue.

Negative experience: They NEVER pick up there phones yet they say there phone lines are available Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM I waited for nearly an hour and a half listening to the same replayed music and voice overs! Do better answering your phone!! Not only did the doctor give the wrong medical advice to my daughter no one picks up the phone so that you can double check!!

Negative experience: Don’t come to this doctor centre if you value your health and wellbeing, because they definitely don’t seem to care. I have been trying to get a referral sent to a clinic and was told to wait for the clinic to call me and if I don’t hear from them within a week then to contact the clinic. Every time I have contacted the clinic they have confirmed they never received my referrals. I have gone back to this doctor centre, sadly, to get an update in regards to my referral and have been told it was tossed away “by accident”, twice!! They make me do another quiz each time to get a new referral and guess what?! That also didn’t get sent to the clinic. I have tried calling them instead of going back and I have gotten nowhere. They don’t have an easy way to contact someone to follow up, they don’t care about your health, they lack empathy and kindness, they rush you out the door, they don’t take medical situations seriously. It breaks my heart to be treated like this and see others be treated like this, because this is a place for people who can’t afford a doctor visit at one of the good doctor centres, with this cost of living crisis and can’t get appointments anywhere else so they are resulted to come here. I don’t understand how hard it is to be empathetic to your patience and listen to them and take their medical issues seriously! That’s their job!

Negative experience: I’ve been there with my partner to see a doctor.The receptionist told me I am not sure when will doctor come and then other patients came in to see same doctor and the lady at the reception booked them in before us. After waiting for 40 mins the lady told us that i can book in you in after them. Completely pathetic response by the receptionist! I didn’t understand how this place is running with this sort of management. Giving 1 star just because Can’t give 0.

Negative experience: Not impressed. Just waited 23 minutes on the phone, in the middle of the day where you constantly state every two minutes what your operating hours for the phones are, only to hear a person pick up the phone and hang up straight away. No voice. No help. Nothing. This isn't the first time. Every time I call it's an indefinite hold that never gets answered. This is the latest in a long list of issues I've had with this medical centre.

Negative experience: Dr Nekeoo had me in and out in 1 minute. To diagnose a shoulder injury he grabbed it hard through my sweatshirt and did an xray referal. No pain relief or care advice, just a med certificate when I said I didnt need it. Worst experience I've had. The only reason it gets even one star is from the excellent xray technician who was a thousand times better than the doctor. Avoid this doctor

Fantastic experience: Love this medical centre. Being bulk billed means they need to efficiently manage a great number of patients. I like the booking system and how you are sent a text when you are next. I have seen 4 different doctors for different ailments and all have been thorough and caring. Yes, I had to wait one evening for 2hrs, but it is a lovely place, free WiFi, and comfortable seating. Had explained to me a doctor was sick (yes, doctors get sick too.)

Negative experience: Our medical is the fast food of doctors. It's good because it's bulk billed. Some of the doctors are lovely and helpful, one is the worst doctor I have ever seen. Avoid doctor Nekoee if you have anything more serious than needing a medical certificate. I have seen him enough times to know it's not just him having a bad day. The final straw was when my husband saw him for pain in this side. He didn't even look under his shirt, just literally poked him and said it's bruising but you can get an x-ray "if you want". Literally drove him to another doctor immediately after and the level of care was day and night. My husband has fractured ribs and was given a lot of instructions and care for the recovery period as well as a prescription to manage the pain. So if you have a serious issue, do not go to Dr nekoee cause it's highly likely it will not be treated with the level of care required.

Negative experience: Good if you go in but if you try contact via phone or email GOOD LUCK!!! Staff do not answer the phones or respond to emails. Not actually sure what reception do.. Pretty sure nothing. Have spent the past week trying to get through to book a telehealth so i can get my results back! So far wasted 45 mins trying to get through.. luckily other people dont have to work..............

Negative experience: I recently visited your clinic with my 13-month old daughter, who had suffered a burn to her hand. We were informed that the waiting time would be approximately two hours plus which I understood given the circumstances. However, I was disheartened to learn that there was no designated parents' room available to change my daughter's nappy. This lack of basic facilities made the wait extremely challenging, as no parent wants their child to sit in discomfort for an extended period. Given the modern nature of your clinic, I was surprised by this oversight. I believe that providing a parents' room is not only standard practice but essential for the health and well-being of young patients and their caregivers. I hope you will consider this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to support families in the future. Kind regards

Negative experience: Writing on behalf of my father-in-law and family. My father-in law attended here yesterday, explained all his symptoms which included Intense, sudden pain in his abdominal that went to his back. Having slight bloating with nausea however no changes to his bowel movements. Explained he’s also had fevers, been really clammy and visibly grey in skin colour. He was told he has a tummy ache and was to have buscopan despite my FIL already telling the doctor that’s what he’s been doing. Following onto today, where we visited our main doctor who thoroughly consulted us and referred us to Mater Emergency Department. Where now we have found out he has a gall bladder infection and is currently being admitted. Take what you will with this review, whilst yes it’s accessible to those who unfortunately cannot pay fees the quality of care is appalling. That’s not fair to patients.

Negative experience: Our Medical is horrible, I have been a couple times to get my daughter checked . There is no booking system which wastes everyone’s time the shortest time I’ve had to wait was 45 minutes. And you don’t get say in which dr you see. I had the same Doctor 3 times seeing my 7 month old, he didn’t do any observations on my daughter the first time seeing him. Doctor Jaharlal Saha in room 3 was completely rude and shut down any concerns I had.We then took her back and asked him to take observations and check her mouth. She had a mouth infection and thrush. And we’ve just recently taken her back and he had horrible service and straight up told me and my parented we are wrong. I don’t know if this is because we are young parents and they don’t want to hear our concerns. But it’s highly unprofessional and rude and I wouldn’t recommend him or the clinic to anyone. Waste of time and their service is poor.

Negative experience: I’ve been in debilitating pain for the past three days so instead of waiting two more days for my regular GP appointment, I went to Our medical. I sat waiting for 2 hours and when I saw the GP, I was told to take paracetamol because it’s probably just period cramps and to take another day off of work. I spent just over 1 minute in the GP’s room. Just absolutely disgusting that they will be paid by taxpayers for putting peoples health and wellbeing at risk

Fantastic experience: Am glad there is still a Bulk Billing GP practice in my area. Have seen a few doctors at Our Medical at Annerley and they were all great. It’s a walk in clinic, no appointment needed. You can either choose the next available doctor or look at the doctors roster and stick to one doctor. Dr Blackman gave me his time, honesty professional input, listened and I didn’t feel rushed. He is my family’s GP.

Negative experience: Honestly the only good to come from this place is the ladies at the front desk. Always happy always smiling. Unfortunately I think its about time this country needs to start employing doctors that can speak fluent english. Everytime I go. I walk out shaking my head as I have no idea what was said to me Most of the doctors hesitate when trying to explain something or get mixed up. Writing is absolutely horrendous. Majority of the time I have to go home research what was actually said to me. I have a pre existing skeletal condition.. everytime I go in for some kind of pain relief they make you get ultrasounds/Xrays etc: Money grabbing Correct me if im wrong but is this not a commonwealth country.. an English speaking country?

Fantastic experience: Dr. Myla Stevens 10/10 rate, facilities very cozy and clean. this is a "One stop Shop", Heaps of GP, pathology is there, pharmacy is there, radiology is there, dental and physio is there. Queue is very fast. over all 10/10 rate. Amazing!! Most of the services are bulk billed.

Fantastic experience: Rushed in with an ear that started to bleed a bit. I wear hearing aids and have little hearing, so very stressful for me. It was my first time, I went on a Saturday night after hours. Very thankful to have a doctor’s that is open late into the evenings. I saw Dr Randall Jackson. He was so friendly and confident in his diagnosis. Made me feel assured and alleviated my anxieties. Negative experience: I went into thr clinic for an mri and xray referral. receptionist said this could be done via telehealth, but when telehealth called they said it could not be done over the phone. Reception does not pick up on weekends and I have to drive another 40minutes with a dislocated hand and foot to get the referral I need. Unacceptable lack of knowledge that's put me through more pain. And they can't even answer the phone to acknowledge it.

Negative experience: Just another pay check to them. It seems more "sales" based. "Get them in and get them out", they want high and fast turnovers. My little one has been misdiagnosed 3 times now. We are currently in hospital due to further complications of this of this misdiagnosed disease, when it could have been prevented, had they done their job in the first instance instead of trying to rush people out. I have seen 7 different doctors at that clinic to try gauge to see if its just that particular doctor or if theyre all like that. Dr Randall was the only one who knew what he was talking about and didn't rush me out the door. The rest I felt rushed and unheard and now I simply do not have any trust in Our Medical Annerley. Will not be visiting this place again.

Fantastic experience: It was my first visit to see my long standing doctor, Dr. Boomi who recently became a part of Our Medical. Apart from his usual happy greetings, the rooms are spacious and well fitted out. He had no problem in slotting me in the Treatment Rooms for my annual flu shot. Overall, I was very impressed to see the scale of this facility, with an abundant of Doctors, treatment facilities, Radiology and Dentistry all in the same building. Transitioning from the carpark into the receptionist and throughout the medical stages was thorough, efficient, comfortable and stress free. What a joy!

Fantastic experience: I had a slip on the stairs and scraped some skin down into a bundle. I went to Our Medical and as it was quite late I was quickly attended by a very good doctor. My wound was in a water proof plaster and I listened to the instructions and was told to return to a nurse in 3 days Three days later I turned up and was seen by the nurse. The plaster was removed with no pain and nurse put another plaster on my arm. I went to get this process every third day and the same nurse was just terrific, nearly done and painless. If I ever need to get a small wound again I will go straight to the same people knowing I would looked after in the best way. I give them Five Stars plus.

Positive experience: Went in over the weekend for wound care and had a really good experience. The nurse who did the procedure was great - professional, calm, and genuinely kind. He had a good sense of humour and made the whole thing feel a lot less stressful. I’ve had times in the past where I’ve felt like I was wasting time or resources getting help for self-inflicted wounds, but his manner really helped with that. For a little while, I actually forgot how crap I was feeling, and I'm grateful for that. Also, Dr. Momia Teariki-Tautea is awesome, really easy to talk to and you can tell he genuinely cares. The way he treats patients should be standard for doctors, but unfortunately, it’s not always the case. I really appreciate the care he provides and will always choose him in the queue if I can, he's great. Some of the other doctors can be a bit hit and miss, but the app makes it easy to book with someone else if needed. Super convenient and overall a good experience. Yes, you can be waiting a while, but it’s a bulk-billed, walk-in GP clinic that's open when nobody else is—what do people expect? That’s kind of the trade-off, and it’s worth it for accessible care.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars. Just be aware of how they run things and set your expectations. It's non-appointment based through checking-in on the app when you arrive. Naturally, it'll be busier after school and after work times. Often they'll be so busy that they won't take anyone in the evening as the app queue is too long. You can check this through the app without going to the actual physical building to save yourself driving there and learning the hard way. I timed my visit before a cyclone as I had a feeling it would be empty because of it (after checking open hours on their website) and was instantly served and treated for what I had. I've gone before around 1pm Thursday and it was about 45 minutes. Checked-in, went walking to the shops nearby while I monitored my queue number in the app, then returned and sat back inside when I was top 5 in the queue. That's what it's all about; check the app, check the hours, and time your arrival to avoid peak times so you don't end up in situations that lower-star reviewers here have left.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. I understand there are many people that need help but it is not right to send people away at 6:30pm when they close at 10pm. I came here 2 days in a row and got sent away both days. I work from 7 till 5 and I don't have time to go to the doctors during those hours. I had difficulty breathing and a severe headache and they sent me away because they're full. Don't advertise that you're open until 10 if you can't take people in after 6.

Positive experience: Attended for a flu vaccine and had to wait for over an hour. Not the best model of care for an uncomplicated fluvax. So won’t be doing this again. The nurse however was brilliant and I didn’t feel a thing.

Negative experience: I was dissatisfied when I attended this place hoping to get a medical certificate after I was a victim of road rage physical assault and one of the doctors told me to go to the hospital because they thought they’d do a better job at writing a medical report; wether it’s true or not, if you have are a serious medical centre you should be able to get this done. I don’t need to wait 7 hours in public hospital to get reviewed by a doctor. I did enjoy their app system and receptionist was lovely.

Negative experience: Whatever you do try to avoid getting Dr. M Wadhwani. He was completely uninterested in actually getting to understand you and your issues and just wants to get rid of you as soon as possible. Terrible attitude from him and flat out asked me just what I wanted instead of actually providing medical advice. Dr. Boomi Chinnapillai was the opposite, truly seemed to care and gave effort into trying to help! Apart from him I have a love hate thing with this place, but that applies to Australia's whole system.

Negative experience: It is a useless place. We went within their work hours and receptionist said doctor cannot see me. The doctor was just standing there and chatting with the receptionist but can’t see a genuine patient. Really poor service.

Positive experience: I have been going to this practice for the last 2 years. Some doctors are great here but on my recent visit I saw Dr Myla Stevens, she was rushing me to get me out of the room, she was not happy that I asked her questions the way she responded was very rude. I think she needs to learn how to deal with patients. Do one favour avoid Dr. Myla Stevens on your visit. 3 stars for other doctors like Dr Ramesh, Dr Zahra, Dr Indika, they are really good doctors, care for you and are willing to listen to you.

Negative experience: I feel frustrated.It shard to find a good Bulk billing doctor these days. I came to this medical centre three times, saw 3 different doctors. All 3 are lazy unhelpful I asked about weightloss advice , the first two doctors said they would give me a needle for weightloss but will cost me $280 a month but states I couldn't probably afford it. They do not offer a dietician or any advice. That was it. I asked for help as am having some depression and some anger from trauma from the past, first doctor said come back next time and we talk about it then, second doctor said he isn't registered to give me a mental health plan and I should go to reception ask for another doctor. Very unusual.behaviour. Today I told the doctor sbout soem chronic fatigue and she completely ignored it then referred me for more x-rays that I already just had at the hospital.

Positive experience: I want to start out and say Dr. Randall Jackson is great, so kind and personable and patient, and I wish I just stuck with him. I came in a day when he’s not available and saw Dr. Saha. He was HORRIBLE. His tone of voice was SO aggressive and he didn’t brother to explain why he wouldn’t refill my prescription other than to practically yell about it being a controlled substance. I said, sometimes controlled substances treat specific conditions - are you saying you never prescribe controlled substances?? He then practically yelled, “I DO FOR MY PATIENTS. YOU’RE NOT MY PATIENT.” Then I asked for a referral to a psychiatrist and he said I needed to have a specific name. Didn’t bother to explain (I’m new to the country). Thankfully, I jumped back in the queue and then saw Dr. Myra Stevens and she was so calm. She explained the risks of my medication and I decided not to continue it. She also helped me to understand how referrals work for Medicare. I highly recommend her or Dr. Jackson, which I why I didn’t give a 1-star review.

Negative experience: Not happy with how they waste patients time not even minding if there’s a sick baby involved. After waiting for 30 minutes to be called in, had to Wait for another 45 minutes since all doctors had a at 12? Then you pay before seeing the doctor so that you don’t leave even after they waste your time!

Fantastic experience: I had such a positive experience with Dr. Sucy Mohan at Our Medical. She was incredibly thorough and understanding, taking the time to carefully check through my past medical history and listen to my concerns without rushing the consultation. Dr. Mohan's knowledge and attention to detail really stood out, and she created a clear and suitable plan for me moving forward. I also really appreciated the convenience of being able to see her on a Sunday – it made such a difference. Negative experience: It used to be a good clinic with not much of waiting times . Unfortunately it’s just getting worse and worse. Couple of weeks ago my wife and i went there to get our COVID boosters. The place was full of people, we checked in and waited for over an hour with no lucks and we still had another dozen people in front of us. So we just canceled our appointment and left and will never go back there again. Very poor management, thumbs down on you Our Medical.

Negative experience: We experienced an unprofessional and inappropriate behavior exhibited by Nurse Amber during our visit to Our Medical Center on February 28, 2025, around 10:45 AM. While my son was undergoing a procedure in the treatment room, my wife was seated nearby. Without any clear reason, Nurse Amber approached my wife and, in an unprofessional manner, said, “Can I kick you out?” This comment was not only unnecessary but also distressing during an already stressful time for our family. My wife was left feeling uncomfortable, confused, and upset by this interaction I believe such behavior is completely unacceptable, particularly in a healthcare setting where patients and their families should feel respected and cared for. We expect a high level of professionalism and empathy from medical staff, especially in moments of vulnerability. I respectfully request that this issue be investigated and appropriate action be taken to ensure this does not happen again. I would appreciate feedback on how this matter will be addressed. Thank you for your attention to this serious issue.

Negative experience: I've been coming here for several years and I've had some good doctors and some average doctors. The experience I had with Doctor Nekooee was honestly awful and I left in tears. Everytime I've had to see him my consult has lasted 90 seconds at most. He is completely dismissive and doesn't give a single shit about the patients, he's just there for a paycheck. I am back for a second day in a row getting another blood test because he didn't care enough to actually ask me what was going on he just wanted me to leave as quickly as possible. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS.

Fantastic experience: Helpful Drs and Reception staff, check in via mobile phone, but if you do not have one the staff can check you in at the front desk. Free service for Medicare card holders, onsite dentists (pay out of pocket) and onsite pharmacy with helpful and welcoming staff.

Positive experience: This medical practice runs very differently to others and I quite like it. First of all, it's open till 9.55pm almost, if not every single day. There are heaps of practitioners and you have the option to see anyone. If you are not fussed with who you are seeing, you can get served very quickly. Yes, for a particular doctor, you may have to wait longer but that's ok I think. If you have an issue, you can see a doctor that same day guaranteed! If not urgent, just pick a time you have extra time on your hands or bring your work laptop. The app they use is pretty good. You can see the doctor roster ahead of time and plan to go there at a time the centre is usually less busy. If Google doesn't tell you about the least busy time, you can always call them ahead of time for an indication or information. The only thing that's not so awesome, and the reason why I gave 4 points instead of 5, is that you don't have much information about the different doctors available on the app. So you don't really know the interest areas of the doctors to help you choose. There isn't much on their website either. This place made it really easy for me recently. I managed to see two doctor's within 30min, it's completely free (bulk billed) and they also have a pathology on site which is also very quick and free of charge. I think this is the way all practices should run in the future. It's very efficient!
