Negative experience: Hi everyone, I booked an appointment to extract my wisdom tooth with dr. Sheema Entezami at Smiles Plus Dental in Rouse Hill NSW. I had my first consultation with Dr. Sheema Entezami to assess the condition of the tooth. She sent me for an x-ray and MRI of the tooth in which were done at the same day of the appointment. She went through the images and decided to go ahead as she said that she would be able to remove the wisdom tooth. On the 27/05/2025, I had my extraction appointment. Dr. Sheema was not able to remove the tooth. She opened the gum around it and was applying a lot of pressure to make that tooth coming out. She unsuccessfully could not remove it. She put me in an extreme bad pain for 28 following days. The next day following the appointment, I went to the clinic to ask Dr. Sheema for a prescription for an antibiotic in case of any future infections of the opened gum and also asked her for a painkiller. Dr. Sheema prescribed an antibiotic for me and told me to have Panadol for the pain. She referred me to an oral surgeon after asking her about a solution. She was not compassionate at all and did not care about my pain. I saw an oral surgeon and went through a GA surgery at Westmead hospital a month after. Until today, I have complications regarding the cut made during the procedure, I am still bleeding and have a lot of pain. Personally, I have two small children, a very busy mum with a lot of responsibilities. Dr. Sheema caused me a lot of pain for very long time. The main issues I was concerned about were: If I could do the surgery as soon as possible. I do not have any private health insurance. I was not sure where to go. I asked the specialist oral surgeon to remove the tooth, he said that it will cost me around $4000. And to be in a public hospital waiting list, would take at least 6 months to be offered the surgery. But fortunately, the surgeon I went to, was very compassionate and tried to help me as much as he could. He contacted the hospital to shortenthe waiting time by presenting my case as urgent. Thank to him, I could finally remove my wisdom tooth within the public hospital.

Fantastic experience: I have been booking regular cleans and check-ups with my dentist, Dr Fahim from SmilePlus for at least 10 years. He is incredibly gentle, knowledgeable and kind - he makes the trips to the dentist easy. I generally get very nervous about my teeth as I have had fillings, root Canal and braces, but can honestly say that I am confident and happy with the outcome. I highly recommend my dentist.

Phil is such a kind, patient man who takes a real interest in his patients and provides unparalleled service. I had been taking my elderly (& very unwell) mum to Phil for the past 2 1/2 years and he made an enormous difference to her quality of life. He gave her time and kind attention to her complicated dental needs. My kids all like and respect him too.
