Negative experience: Watch out for this male receptionist of indian descent. He is full of attitude and is very unprofessional. However the doctors at the facility provided a decent care and service to my kids.
Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a couple of years. Dr Vajna Rafeek is amazing. She pays attention and always supportive. Reception always look after me. I'm never overcharged and always refunded when necessary. After years searching for a good clinic, Hanson rd medical will always be my go to.

Fantastic experience: Visited Hanson Medical Centre today and had a great experience. Dr. Amir was attentive, kind, and took the time to really listen and explain everything clearly,I felt genuinely cared for. Negative experience: I regret booking an appointment with Dr. Ambreen Ahmad, as it was a deeply disappointing experience. I had to see her because my regular GP was unavailable, but unfortunately, her conduct was unprofessional and left me feeling unheard and disrespected. Ahmad expressed frustration about seeing a patient for a one-time consultation and continuously talked over me, showing little regard for my concerns. Her focus appeared to be more on financial matters rather than patient care, which is concerning. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for healthcare services. If possible, it may be worth waiting for an appointment with a different doctor, as my experience was far from satisfactory.

Negative experience: Poor management. Have to wait for 40-50 mins everytime I book an appointment. Asked the receptionist that what’s the point of booking an appointment if everytime its gonna be like that and she replied with ‘I don’t know!’ Doctors are good but really you have to spare your day if you’re coming here. Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to this clinic after she jammed her finger, and I am so thankful for the amazing care we received. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by two male receptionists and one female receptionist all three of them were so kind, helpful, and understanding. They made us feel comfortable straight away and were very considerate of our situation. What really touched me was their generosity they didn’t even charge us a consultation fee, which meant so much to me, especially during an unexpected visit like this. The doctor was amazing. He was very thorough in checking my daughter’s finger and took his time to explain everything clearly in a calm and reassuring way. He made sure my daughter felt safe and wasn’t scared, which really put us both at ease. I went again a second time to get results and he didn’t charge at all which is really kind. It’s rare to find a place where the whole team from the multiple people at reception to the doctor show this level of genuine care and compassion. Negative experience: Never seen GP on booked appointment time. Late by more than 30 minutes.
Fantastic experience: The reception person was great, Dr. Rafeek Vajna was kind and very much explained the problems. She understood our current circumstances and gave us relevant practical solutions which helped us to implement the right methods. We will always rely on Dr. Vajna for future challenges and have faith in Dr. Vajnas analysis.

Negative experience: Their medicare rebate machine doesnt work 100% of the time. Great excuse to charge customers and hold the cash for as long as they can. Doctors make care plans with mistakes on them and won't fix it without another appointment. After emailing several times i am now forwarding my complaint to AHPRA. Obviously that won't make a difference
Negative experience: Beware. I was asked to pay the whole amount before seeing the doctor and Medicare refund was not processed at the time. However, other patients paid after seeing the doctor! When I enquired, the person at the reception lied that they changed the policy to collect money at the arrival. However, I didn't see him asking for payment from anyone upon arrival except for one other patient like me. I feel it is discrimination. Moreover, I waited for one hour post my appointment time to see the GP.

Fantastic experience: I’m coming this clinic more than 3 years. The receptionist — the gentleman who's been here for a few years — is always incredibly helpful and consistently makes sure you feel welcomed and leave with a smile. see my doctors sometimes on time but sometimes I have to wait 30 to 40 minutes every time that’s all otherwise once you get into the clinic and have a chat with them they are great.

Negative experience: I usually have good experiences with this clinic—most of the reception staff are polite, and the doctors are excellent. However, I’ve had two disappointing interactions with the same receptionist who comes across as quite rude. Today, when I called to book an appointment with my regular GP, I was told there was one available at 6:30 PM on Thursday. I simply asked if there were any earlier appointments, and her response was unnecessarily abrupt: "Did I say any other appointment is available?" My husband has had a similar experience with the same receptionist. While I understand staff can be busy, a respectful tone goes a long way, especially in a healthcare setting. Patients should be treated with kindness and respect, just as staff deserve respect from patients. This feedback is only about one individual—overall, I still appreciate the care and professionalism of the doctors and the rest of the team.

Negative experience: Disappointed with the service I received at your clinic regarding a long-standing shoulder issue. I’ve visited twice for the same problem, which has been ongoing for over six months. Despite this, both doctors I saw provided little to no clarity or helpful direction—only vague explanations for the pain. After two appointments with no improvement, I requested a care plan. I was then informed by the doctor that she was a trainee and could not prepare one, which felt like a complete waste of both my time and money. The next day, I saw Dr. Chandima for the same issue and to request a care plan. During the appointment, I also mentioned another concern. Without clearly informing me, she requested a urine sample and ran a pregnancy test—even though I had just told her I had finished my period the previous week. I was later surprised to see a charge for the test at reception. I declined to pay as I hold a concession card. The receptionist then called the doctor, and as I was walking out, Dr. Chandima called me back into her room and spoke to me in a very rude and unprofessional tone. I felt confronted and, frankly, harassed. She insisted I had to pay and dismissed my concerns, even though I never requested the test in the first place. I calmly explained that I wasn’t informed about the test being conducted, but she was dismissive and disrespectful. This entire experience has left me feeling extremely disappointed, uncomfortable, and disrespected. I expect better communication, professionalism, and transparency from a medical clinic—especially regarding consent and charges. I hope my feedback is taken seriously and appropriate action is taken to ensure this doesn’t happen to others.
Negative experience: I called the clinic to make an appointment with a specific doctor for my mum, as I was helping her translate since she doesn’t know English. While I was on the phone, the receptionist asked me for my mums date of birth. I quickly turned around to ask my mum since I didn’t know it off by heart, but before I could even respond, he hung up straight away. I called back immediately, and when he answered, he gave me attitude and said , “hurry up and say the date of birth” once I told him, his tone was still rude and unprofessional. I found this completely unacceptable, especially coming from a clinic where people go for help and support. Everyone has different needs, and I was simply trying to help my mum translate and book her appointment. There was no need for him to be impatient or disrespectful.

Fantastic experience: Its been 10 years I have been coming to this clinic and they always been very respectful. The doctors the staff at reception all very friendly and helpful. Lastly, Dr Vajna is the best doctor.
Negative experience: Went last night before advertised closing time, my son hurt his sternum & was in so much pain. Reception said let me ask Doctor if he can be seen, came back no sorry. I said that Doctor shouldnt be a Doctor if they cant see my son who is in pain breefly.

Negative experience: called the medical around 8:40pm on saturday. Receptionist was very rude while asking few question. Hangup with us while still making appointment, So rude, so so so rude
Negative experience: If I could give no star rating I would. Who ever is the receptionist he is terrible if he can not explain to the people what the mean of being there. Some people don't understand English so they can ask many questions but he cut the phone instead..

The entire experience was frustrating and stressful—this place is a nightmare for anyone seeking decent care or respectful treatment.

Negative experience: Worst medical centre I have to been to. Booked an appointment at 11.20am and I was there till 12.10pm but my name was not called so I asked for a refund and ohh boy the reception staff is even worse and slow. Would not recommend if you are a new patient.
Negative experience: Had 2 appointments for my daughter with the Dentist. The first appointment had a waiting time of 35mins and the second appointment had over 1 hour waiting. ( appointment was for 3.00pm and the dentist saw us at 4.00pm) If they can manage the time and correctly, best to limit the number of appointments. The patients time is valuable same as the doctors. Wasting time with longer waiting periods is unacceptable.
Negative experience: Today, I brought my 5-week-old infant to Dr. Vajna. I found her a bit rude and not a good listener , and I was concerned when I observed her wiping her nose as she seems unwell to me and failing to use sanitiser before examining my baby. This lack of hygiene was troubling to me, and as a result, I will not be returning to her practice. I would rate this experience as zero stars.

Negative experience: If i could i would have given 0 . Spoke to reception and booked an appointment over the phone confirmed the charges and they said its $75. We i got in at the appointment time they said its $90. When I questioned that you said its $75 they said ohh the girl at the reception is new and she didnt knew the charges. This happened to one of my friends too which means they do it intentionally. I wish i knew where i could report them.
Negative experience: Always going to this clinic nearly 5-6 years. Month ago booked appointment for my kids pay $70 each to see dr Ansari and get returned money one of the kids $43 and the receptionist told me system is not working so you need to claim another child money yourself through Medicare I tried to apply but it’s says clinic already claims it. I called at reception regularly 2-3 days they not find anything and told me we will talk to our manager but nothing comes out please don’t do that if you can’t return the money so why get prepay. So guys please be careful when you pay money to this clinic make sure you get refunded at same time.
Negative experience: Used to be good. Now it is all commercial and patients have taken a back seat. They will even charge you for follow up upfront. Reception staff some of them are quite rude would not even attend while they are busy talking to each other.
Negative experience: I waited 55 minutes for a 10 minute consult with Dr V Rafeek. Apparently, she also sees emergency patients in between booked appointments (that was her reasoning for the wait), no apology for seeing me late. What's the point of booking an appointment? I would have been better off going else where as a walk in. Won't be heading back there again! Wish I had seen the reviews before.
Fantastic experience: I always have an excellent experience at this clinic. The staff are always incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel comfortable throughout my visit.
Fantastic experience: Dr Vajna is very professional and willing to listen to all your concerns. The reception staff are very kind. The wait time can sometimes be long, but that is because I was told they treat emergency and serious patients first. Other than that, this clinic is ideal.
Negative experience: Dr. Syed Ansari is the worst doctor who doesn't even know that if a patient comes to you, he needs prescribed medication and not generic over the counter medicine. He gave me Telefast for hay fever and a nasal spray that was available over the counter. Please do not waste your time and money by visiting this doctor. And you may have to wait an hour after your appointment time for your turn. Visited 28th and today 29 again going to doctor for prescribed medication.
Negative experience: 0 Star rating for Dr Ambreen Ahmed. The most rudest thing you will ever come across. She is the only Dr in that clinic with availability because obviously no one wants to book with her. Do not waste your time booking with her. Absolutely shocking and appalling behaviour, a Dr that does not want to do her job.
Negative experience: I visited this clinic for my 8 years old child ,, dr chandima was soo rude she does not have any sense how to speak with an ailing child who is struggling to breath .. what a shame !! My child even got more upset and was complaining about dr rude behaviour. The only thing I visit this clinic bcz you can get appointment here bl
Negative experience: Very rude customer service by the receptionist EVA. She has no manners how to talk with customers and older patients. She just make fun of the patients. Please learn some manners. Very unprofessional
Negative experience: i had an appointment on 26-09-24 at 5:30 i go there and told the staff that i have bupa card with me please deduct money from my card and rest i will pay but the reception staff( one boy and other is girl) said we are not accepting card our policy is changed but next day again i have appointment there but that day there is another man at reception he is very nice and helpful he accepts my card and also said that we are accepting bupa card ,every time when i visit there all staff accept the card except the ones who working on 26-09-24 and i also confirm with all “there is no policy change so it my humble request to the management please discuss with the staff who are working on that day why they don’t accept card because sometimes its hard for the patient too”to pay both side (in the hospital as well as to the insurance provider.) thank you
Negative experience: Very disappointing..they charge 'Private rates' the reception people have no idea or service skills. They have taken 2 people that arrived after us and when we raised our concern the dr didn't care just simply said your not on my system. The receptionist staff could not do anything apart from stare at our faces!!! No apology no explanation.
Negative experience: The only thing good about this place is that they have appointments last minute when needed, but I guess I can see why. The reception staff have zero customer service skills. They've got no idea what's going on and how to speak to people. I've seen a couple of doctors here and they've been good. But I saw Dr A today and she was not friendly, and her room reeked of body odour, I felt like vomiting. I don't think I'll be coming back despite the convenience of appointments.
Negative experience: Poor Management More than worst service ever seen in my life uneducated receptionist, they are taking appointments more than the doctors serving there. Hope so never see them again
Negative experience: On the phone they told me they accept private health insurance for the private doctor. I clarified with them twice. When I get in they told me they don’t. Lack of competence is really disappointing, I’m happy to pay but there’s no need to misinform. When I explained to them, that a receptionist on the phone told me they did, they just smirked at each other like I’m the dumb one.
Negative experience: I have been coming to this clinic for last 5 years and I have to say that I have never come across such a rude doctor. Dr Ambreen Ahmed had zero empathy and was so rude. She has no idea what she is doing but the least she could offer is nice behaviour and a caring attitude given she is a doctor.
Fantastic experience: I’m coming to this clinic more than 2 years. Normally I’m coming to this clinic day time, but today I went to this clinic in the evening and I met with nice male receptionist. He is doing great job. He is very pleasant man.
Negative experience: One point for the slow customer services. Receptionist taking time to check the details slowly and asking questions in a low voice. Experienced person would never treat the patient like this.
Negative experience: It is a good place but lately but they are getting very greedy..they charge money for small things and for everything..I needed to print out of my report they printed out after that they said they change small amount, I was like ok and charge me $4 for printing 3 pages... even for pregnancy taste $10. Needed to do urine test and they said my report should come on my phone..but after few days I got message to come and see the doctor to find out my report.Seriously..They are a rip off
Negative experience: Told on phone they bulk bill but when you arrive they refuse to bulk bill. Then after waiting an hour past my appointment time first thing in the morning I was told by the doctor that he wasn't working there all the time and since I was new to the area I would need to find a regular doctor and come back another day to look into my problem. That I had just paid him to look into. Save yourself a waste of time and go elsewhere.
Negative experience: This is no longer a bulk bill clinic, unfortunately not many are anymore. Their staff turnover is constant so I’m lucky to see a GP for longer than 6 months over time. They once tried to charge me $50 for rescheduling a follow up appointment for blood test results! Not even a consultation! I hate the place but can’t escape it… our health system is going to be like America’s soon…
Fantastic experience: Exceptional care and qualified staff that actually pay attention. The facilities are nice and modernized and I felt well-provided for throughout my stay. I highly suggest this medical institution!
Negative experience: I’ve just had a terrible experience with Ambreen Ahmad. Awful doctor, awful person, she doesn’t even look at you when you are talking to her, you can notice she doesn’t have a sense of vocation to be a doctor. If you hate people, why don’t you work doing something different. I lost my money with this horrible doctor.
Negative experience: Terrible doctor Dr Chandima Karunathilaka. Felt like she didn’t even want to hear what I had to say. Not patient dignity maintained by her when doing a physical body checkup. She just wanted to give the most basic pathology slip and wanted to get rid of me. Why do they even become doctors when they don’t actually wanna hear what their patients are actually worried about? Terrible terrible medical centre. This was my first time at this centre and first time with this doctor. Do not recommend this centre and definitely not Dr Chandima Karunathilaka.
Negative experience: Very rude doctor Ambreen Ahmad. Have seen her thrice now, 1 time for husband, 1 for mother in law and 1 for myself and she never fails to surprise me with her attitude, rudeness and lack of care. She would not listen to you, wouldn’t show any empathy and her rudeness will leave you sad. Every time I had to see her was because I couldn’t get appointment of our regular doctor. Adding the review for the first time as I am confident now that she deserves it !
Negative experience: Horrible service. They don’t even take care of incoming reports. Have to request them 10 times to get my own report uploaded. on top of that the management doesn’t care about have complaints from patients. Patients should go somewhere else if they care about their lives.
Fantastic experience: I've attended here before and had pathology taken and always receive pleasant experiences. Today whilst walking past I heard meowing and after entering the gates found a kitten in the bushes. I had to rescue it, and have already fed her and given her worming and vaccination and will need to next take her into a vet for further work and microchipping. Just a caution, there most likely would be more around which I couldn't find or hear so please look out!! Sorry not relevant to the actual clinic.
Fantastic experience: I went to the clinic in the evening last week. The tall guy at the front desk was super nice and helpful. He was a nurse but he was also doing reception stuff. He seemed very experienced nurse. He gave me a tetanus shot and dressed my wound. He did it really well. He's just awesome.
