Positive experience: I know I will never love going to the dentist, but as far as dental experiences go, I'd say my visit to Dental 99 was good. It can be a bit daunting having to make appointments through the app and having to pay for all treatments in advance. But on the flip side of this, prices for each treatment are set, and no further costs get added afterwards. Going to the dentist anywhere is expensive, but I found Dental 99 to be a bit more cost friendly. Treatment was good, too. My dentist spent a lot of time on me, and I felt in no way rushed. They patiently explained my treatment and took time to answer all my questions. All staff I interacted with were very friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable, and polite. I would highly recommend Dental 99 and will continue to see them as my regular dentist.

Positive experience: my brother and i went for a general check up and clean - clean dental clinic , great service - first thing that was done was an xray of my teeth, these photos were uploaded to my dental 99 app - i highly reccomend dr chade hassan , amazing dentist , asked if i had any questions then did a thorough clean lastign around 45 mins - before/after photos were also taken and uploaded to dental 99 app - after the cleaning he went through any concerns and provided advice - 10/10 service from chade , he was great however for my brothers clean up we had seen alot of great reviews about dr elijah , so he booked with him - he was great and friendly, although the service was rushed where his appointment only took 20 mins max - he was quite rough with the cleaning tools and his gums started heavily bleeding and was told he had gum disease , although he has rarely ever bled while brushing his teeth overall i would 100% reccommend dr chade hassan , he is an amazing dentist really appreciate his work

Fantastic experience: My first time going to the dentist in 8 years and dr Dsouza was wonderful. X-rays and clean included in the $99 which is unheard of in Australia. Dr Dsouza made me feel relaxed and took the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions. I will not go anywhere else now!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a wisdom tooth extraction consultation after the recommendation of two friends, and I had a great experience. The service was straightforward and professional. Dr Patel explained everything clearly, gave me options, and was able to do the procedure on the same day, which was really convenient. I appreciated how thorough the explanations were and how they also took the time to discuss other things to keep an eye on with my teeth. Overall, very happy with the service, highly recommend.

Negative experience: If you’re looking for an affordable and reliable dentist in Sydney then don’t go here. Dental 99 focus on attracting potential clients with the $99 offer. However, once you get a foot in the door they won’t provide honest and impartial advice. I was told I needed everything under the sun completed and would cost over $8000. They provided no itemised costs to explain treatment plans in terms of labour and materials. When I went for a second opinion, it was found I was oversold treatment options here. Don’t fall with the marketing fluff.
Negative experience: The practice itself is conveniently located and the facilities, including the app, are quite impressive. However, my experience has been disappointing. I had a crown and fillings done here, but unfortunately, my dentist shaved too much of my natural tooth, leaving a significant gap between my teeth after fitting the crown. Although the crown itself seems fine, it’s now been over a month and I still cannot eat on the left side of my mouth without experiencing severe pain (pain levels reaching 8–9). I contacted the practice two weeks ago seeking help but have yet to receive any response. It’s disheartening because I had high hopes based on the setup and initial impressions. Sadly, this unresolved issue has had a major negative impact on my daily life, and the lack of aftercare follow-up has made the experience even more frustrating.
Fantastic experience: Second time going to 99Dental, but first time in this location, a bit busy place but still satisfied. I like the way they work through the app, appointment through the app, contactless check in. +1 for Uzayr Patel that I booked for my appointment, friendly, gentle and great advice. I’ll be back in 6months !

Fantastic experience: Get my clean checkup and fill with Mr.Biddle. He truly did an amazing job. He even explained what he did once the process was done and answered all my questions. No pain and he did give you time to rest your mouth. It’s very important because I did see a different dentist before and she keeps force me to open my mouth so she can get her job done quicker.

Fantastic experience: I removed my wisdom teeth for the first time two weeks ago, and Dr. Wand did it perfectly! I am an international student, so I was not only scared of the procedure but also worried about how to communicate. But Dr. Wand explained everything slowly and used simple words to help me understand. He made the environment very calm, so I felt less nervous. Fantastic experience: It’s my first time to go in Dental99 in Sydney CBD. The service I received was amazing, very informative in sharing information details about my X-ray result. Negative experience: Would give zero if possible. Was told I needed 7 fillings which shocked me, went to my regular dentist who told me I didn’t need any. Terrible terrible service.

Negative experience: I haven’t been to the clinic, however I had an appointment today that I needed to cancel, later on I saw how they have added the money I’ve paid into my dental credit which I wasn’t looking for and they haven’t mentioned anything about it. As an student my budget is quite low and I was looking for my money to come back. I even tried to contact them but no respond all i get from their bot is the message on the picture. I want my money back to my credit card account and not dental account as I wouldn’t go back there?!

Fantastic experience: Best dentist ever! I booked through the app for a general clean for $99. You check in yourself at the clinic. The clinic is clean and modern. Dr Elijah treated me and saw i had a cavity and got me in for a filling straight away. I’ve never had that before. It was $99 for the clean and $149 for the filling but after private health i was only $81 out of pocket. Everything was well and good and will be using dental 99 again!

Fantastic experience: I was lacking confidence after going to a renowned clinic in Bondi and still not being happy. That's when I accepted a friend's recommendation to go to 99. I am very satisfied and was surprised from the initial consultation (with Dr. Patel) and even more so when I continued with my implant process. I am in the initial phase but I am already delighted with Dr. Zac Wilson's attention, involvement and precision. Fantastic experience: I recently relocated to Australia and needed urgent dental care after a filling fell out. As a UK expat on a Working Holiday Visa, I had to go private, but most dentists quoted high prices with hidden fees. Luckily, I found Dental 99 online, with clear pricing, next-day appointments, X-rays included and great reviews. The clinic was modern, well-organised and staffed by a lovely, friendly team. The manager helped me check in when I had trouble with the app and the treatment was quick but extremely thorough. The dentist explained everything and even double-checked my fillings for comfort. Post-treatment, I received excellent aftercare advice, with X-rays, photos and notes viewable via the app within 24 hours. The app also offers support for any aftercare questions. Negative experience: Only go there for teeth washing, don’t do anything else, if you have any other teeth problem, find somewhere else, the dentist I met here only want your money. I had some other teeth issue, he tell me to do a deep clean, for 10 minutes job, $500, and their deep clean is for half teeth, if you want another half, have to book it again for another $500. And the second week my appointment was on Bondi junction shop of 99 dentist, the dentist there give me another completely different way treatment, which means my $500 spent on nothing.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely an Amazing Experience!!! I had all in 4 procedure for both upper and lower arches. Zac and his team were bloody awesome and highly Professional! From the first to the final step, I felt welcomed into Dental 99’s Clinic in Macquarie St, Sydney without any judgement of appearance as my teeth and smile was horrible. Fantastic experience: I came for a tooth extraction that I thought would take hours because there were only roots left, it wasn’t even 30 mins when they finished the whole thing. Negative experience: I had a very bad experience with Dr. jilin Michael Cai at Dental 99. I went in for filling, and my tooth was supposed to be shaved down slightly due to decay. However, Dr. Cai ended up removing way too much of my tooth. It seems like he wasn’t careful or precise, and I think he was focused on smoothing out the tooth rather than preserving it. As a dentist, he should have known that teeth can't grow back, and he should have been more conservative with how much was removed. He is inpatient when explaining and didn’t seem to check properly with the fitting tools to ensure the filling would be a perfect fit. It’s clear that a bit more attention to detail and care could have prevented this issue. I won’t be going back to Dental 99, and I would not recommend Dr. Michael Cai to anyone looking for a skilled and attentive dentist.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. I booked for a dental cleanup and check up, supposedly a 30 min appointment. They were running 18 mins late, and the service lasted 12. It was extremely rushed, the guy took too little care and felt really sloppy. It's my second time at Dental 99, a great experience at their Eastlakes office, nothing like the service I received here.
Fantastic experience: This is only my 2nd visit to Dental 99 in Macquarie St and the service is 2nd to none. Miss Celine Renno comes highly recommended. She is very thorough with her work to ensure you get perfect results, and has the kindest demeanour. For anyone who fears the dentist, you don’t need to be if you go to Dental 99.

Given the fact I couldn’t sleep I searched online for somewhere that might be able to help. Found these guys who had plenty of information and reviews to indicate they were the right people to go with. Fast forward a few hours and I was relieved of the pain thankfully. Really easy booking process through their app which is the best thing I’ve ever seen. Has all the information inside such as booking details, receipts, X-rays, pretty much everything you need and misplace. Honestly cannot recommend them anymore. Fantastic experience: Today was my first appointment at dental 99 with Dr. James and I really had a nice experience! Service was great, fast and affordable. I had an issue with my credit card and they allowed me some time to fix it and get my final payment done! Fantastic experience: Best experience ever ! My whole life I was traumatised by dentist, crying at age 26 with first step into every clinic. Doctor Thomas and amazing nurses make me feel so comfortable, they were playing and singing Taylor Swift with me during the whole appointment just to make me feel better I was never expecting them to be that professional, kind and understanding at once - best team EVER who make my appointment stress free and I am definitely ready to get back to finish my treatments without fear ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: Had a implant and a crown done by Dr Zac. To be honest didn't feel.like I was on the chair didn't feel a thing . Zac was very professional.and efficient and even talk me out of another implant which I didn't need to do and proceeded to save the tooth which I thought was ver good .good work .

I had lots of questions that I needed to ask - Dr Zachary Wilson was amazing and very patient and thorough when answering my concerns and made me feel very safe, supported and comfortable for my dental implants. Positive experience: I would highly suggest Dental 99 FOR CLEANING AND VERY BASIC PROCEDURES ONLY!.. Anything more than a simple filling however I would STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST using their services. They are required by their business model to have a very high patient turnover. And some dental needs to take as long as it takes to get right not just as long as is allocated. As a result they often are forced to rush their treatments and perform subpar work for some major procedures. My dentist at 99 Dental actually said outloud to their assistant “that’ll have to do” when trying to polish a crown that cracked 2 weeks later.

Fantastic experience: James was great - such good value. I was suspicious on how great the scale and polish would be but I was really happy. James was really friendly and happy to explain everything. One thing I would say is the space feels a bit chaotic and as they are booths rather than rooms you can hear other procedures and stuff, which if you have a fear of the dentist I could see as being quite stressful.
