Negative experience: I booked for a check up and clean here a couple years ago and got told by a condescending dentist that I needed two fillings. I wanted to get a second opinion and visited Pacific Smiles at Robina Town Centre and have not had to get any fillings at all.. So glad I got a second opinion elsewhere..

Negative experience: They are the worst dentists and front desk staff I have ever seen! I made an appointment to see the dentist yesterday, and I arrived today, but they told me: You will not be able to see the dentist today! This is outrageous! The dentistry has no sense of time at all! Please don't waste your time making an appointment here, because even if you make an appointment and you arrive, they may not see you!

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency appointment for a broken tooth and managed to get an appointment with Tristan the next morning. Upon arrival, Jodie quickly got my records transferred from the Burleigh Branch. Tristan and the dental nurse who’s name escapes me, but began with L, did a great job at fixing my tooth and was very professional and respectful that I was a patient at a different practice. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Dentist dr Filip is very thorough with his check up even if you come every 6 months. He makes myself and children feel comfortable every time we visit, his assistant is also lovely. Front desk are bubbly and welcoming. Our whole family come to this practice. Good to have a regular dentist to see not getting someone different especially with kids on the spectrum.

Negative experience: What started out a wonderful experience turned into a nightmare. I was a loyal client at this practise for many years, had spent thousands of dollars on my teeth and been good business for them over the time. When I had a veneer fall out suddenly a day before my birthday last year I rang this place in tears begging for an appointment. There care factor and support was not there. Which made me feel more upset and anxious with having a missing front tooth. They were extremely cold and careless towards the situation. Which came across very unprofessional. Then yesterday a crown I had in for over 10 years fell out. Again, I was absolutely devastated almost in tears. Went in requesting an appointment. Instead of offering support and empathy I was told how “aggressive” I was. Which was far from the truth. I was clearly very upset suffering severe anxiety from having a missing tooth all over again. They did not respond professionally to my query. Instead treated me very poorly. And then turned it around on me to make me feel like the aggressor. She was the receptionist at the front desk called - GEORGIA. Her co worker then sided with her on the matter and got up and walked away from me while I was trying to organise and secure the next available appointment. I then later received a cruel email and text message advising me that they will no longer be offering me care at there practise. Which I think is a disgusting way to treat a client who had been going there for years spending thousands of dollars. These two girls at the front desk bullied me and turned it back around on me. Best advice I can give is - don’t go here! Go to another coastal dental care instead. The Runaway Bay practise was so understanding and were a real pleasure to go too. The practise in Robina is a DISGRACE and should be ashamed of themselves!!

Positive experience: The dentist was absolutely lovely and made my visit very easy. They did a thorough check of my teeth and found a few problems. I was keen to make another appointment to get them sorted however they asked me to sign a form and pay a $250 deposit that is non refundable within 48 hours of the appointment. I asked what if I get sick, the receptionist stated they are ‘very reasonable’ but this is not included on the form. As a new patient I would expect that if I ever no showed for an appointment all future appointments would incur a deposit but I have never been asked to pay upfront at a dentist and sign a form that alludes to losing your deposit if not cancelled within 48 hours. Whilst I appreciated the quote provided for future work and understand the frustration of people not turning up I felt very uncomfortable at being prompted for a deposit prior to work being done. I would suggest it would be less abrasive to ask people who did not show up once for a deposit before all future work rather than new patients that have no history of unreliability.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to this practice. All the staff were fantastic from the first point of contact at reception to the technicians and the dentist. I felt very comfortable and at ease with every aspect of my care. I would definitely recommend them.

Positive experience: I was scheduled for a visit to the hygienist to check if there was any improvement to my gums over he last four months and if not I should see a specialist for deep cleaning. I was sat on the dental chair and before my gums were checked I was strongly recommended to see the specialist. The hygienist then started to give me the why this is happening using a book with pictures (a chargeable education that has been performed before. I pointed it out that this education has been performed in the past). I feel that I am being pushed to the specialist for financial gain of the specialist. I would have been more comfortable if the hygienist checked my mouth first as the previous hygienist stated that my gums had improved so who do I trust?

Fantastic experience: Been seeing Dr Filip Veljkovic for my regular check up’s and over oral health, he has been amazing and attentive to every problem I have. Very easy to get along with, he has eased my fear of dental procedures!

Negative experience: Great clinic but all depends upon which doctor you see. It has been amazing dealing with Dr. Anita Luong for many year. However for a recent issue I had an appointment with Dr. Filip Veljkovic which was a disaster, had to go for follow up appointment to get the issue fixed and the clinic suggested that I must see the same doctor, which was another horrible experience. For the 3rd time thankfully I got the appointment back with Dr. Anita again and she fixed the issue so easily. Her knowledge and experience is brilliant. So overall great clinic very friendly front staff but very important to get the appointment with the right doctor and would highly recommend Dr. Anita. And obviously now I know the one to absolutely avoid. Answer on your reply- That is exactly what the problem was- Dr. Filip did the filling on wrong teeth, which was never asked for nor it was required but he would not admit to his mistake (or not even have the courtesy to address it as a confusion) instead to cover himself up, he made it worse in the 2nd appointment by insulting and accusing me and still won’t fix the problem. Not only I had to pay twice but also had a filling where it was not needed which has made the structure of that teeth/area uncomfortable. And I also had to waste time going for 3 appointments.
