Goldfields Family Dental is a purpose built Dental Clinic in the heart of Kalgoorlie. The practice is one shop back from the towns main intersection and next door to the NAB. The building was built in 1905 originally housing the commonwealth bank. To this date the building still has its 1900 character and remains a heritage listed building. Purchased by the Naylor family in 2019 they are working closely with a heritage adviser to ensure it keeps with the cities heritage look.
The building now houses a purpose built state of the art dental practice, one of a kind in the Goldfields. This family friendly practice boasts large rooms for families and a separate parents retreat, children’s waiting area with a TV, games console, plenty of books

Found that there was a bit of work to do with nearly all of us, and the team at GFD made it so simple and accommodated everyone, including the work that needed to be done on our 3 year old with ease. Fantastic experience: I am very reluctant to let any dentist that I don't know work on my teeth. I have had many bad experiences in the past. I'm OCD and know what I want / need done. So I had an old filling come loose and needed it replaced asap. I called GFD and was booked in for the next morning with Dr Sush. Dr Sush personally was nice to deal with and accommodating to my needs / concerns. I would happily see him again. I specifically asked for a pulp cap as I knew this filling was deep / big. My past experiences with getting fillings has led to pain and sensitivity without it. Using a dental dam to help stop the by-products going in my mouth. Using a bite block which has always helped me reduce TMJ pain. He was efficient and fast when performing the tooth repair. Also I really appreciate the fact he could show me pictures of what he was doing on the large TV screen in front of me. Also had a TV above me to distract me while he repaired my tooth. Later that day was eating and drinking fine with no problems of sensitivity. Thank you for a comfortable experience.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, makes me feel very good even though I hate to go to the dentist, a lot of availabilities and a real following of the care, everybody is lovely and very nice, makes me feel safe, the place looks very new and clean, TV on the ceiling that’s really cool too, I have an issue with my gums and they took care of me really fast, really best dentist I have seen and I am from France, I recommend it to everybody !

Fantastic experience: Wow, super good, I had an extraction done and it was a stubborn one, I could tell by the X-Ray that it wasn’t going to be easy. Dr. Sush did a really good job, is highly skilled and super patient and the wonderful dental nurse was fantastic too! Couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough!!! Fantastic experience: Personally, I hate going to dentist. I read the reviews, felt like I had been head stomped prior to going in. They rang to say they could fit me in sooner. Their service is absolutely top notch. All extremely helpful and pleasant. Were very informative, an absolute pleasure, given the circumstances on my part, to deal with. Thanks team. See you 1st May lol. My issue was wisdom teeth, one removed, one to be removed. The procedure was extremely well done.

Fantastic experience: Update 23/03/2025: I’ve had a great experience with Dr. Liam for both teeth cleaning and having a splint made and fitted. He is a very friendly and gentle dentist, which made the process comfortable. More recently, I saw Dr. Eric for Botox injections to help with bruxism. He was also very friendly and put me at ease, greatly reducing the anxiety I initially had about the injections. I’ve had two appointments with him so far, and each time he took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything thoroughly. I really appreciated his patience and enjoyed learning more about my bruxism in the process. The ladies at reception are always friendly and helpful, which also makes visiting this dental practice a pleasant and stress-free experience. First appointment: My appointment was great. Was very impressed with Dr. Booth and the receptionists were very friendly. It was cool to see photos of my teeth and have Dr. Booth explain the problem areas and see it for myself. I liked that the new patient form I filled out was on whiteboard paper, great way to save paper.

Fantastic experience: The start of our caravanning trip wasn’t the best but ended with a great result. A bit of my tooth broke away while eating a muesli bar with nuts. Panic started. First stop was to be Kalgoorlie so along the way phoned Goldfields Family Dental. The receptionist was lovely by getting me an appointment the next day late afternoon. The next morning I received another phone call to come in earlier as the dentist was running early with appointments. Dr Liam, who has a very pleasant manner, explained everything he was going to do to my tooth so I could enjoy the rest of my caravanning trip. This was reassuring as I was nervous. This clinic was amazing - very welcoming from my first phone call, to meeting staff, to when I left the building. Thank you so much Goldfields Family Dental.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely unbelievable service, I've been to this clinic several times now and they are just amazing. The ladies at reception are just wonderful, so very helpful and sweet. I had a troublesome tooth pulled and I didn't feel a thing. 10/10 across the board. Ps. Dr Matt is just awesome

Fantastic experience: Last minute call made on Sunday morning just after 8am to have a tooth extracted and was able to be seen by 09:30am and treated by 10am. Great team to deal with making the experience seemless and stress free right from my initial call. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Always had the best experience with the staff and dentists in GFD. From gum cleaning, wisdom teeth extractions and to getting a crown done, my dentists explained everything. No fuss in scheduling appointments and follows up after every procedure are also top notch.

Fantastic experience: Very welcoming and have Great service from the moment I walked in. From Tash in reception to seeing Theresa one of the Dentist and everyone in between. As a person who is neurodivergent and has family members who also are, we attended Goldfields Family Dental in Kalgoorlie, they met make sure they meet all our family needs dental, sensory, and they also work with us for our appointments need. Without any judgement and always make our feel comfortable and welcomed to attend our appointments. They are very helpful and upfront about what is needed and necessary including prices ect. They are happy to answer all questions and take their time without rushing. I would highly recommend and encourage Goldfields Family Dental to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! This dental appointment completely changed my perspective on visiting the dentist. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and made me feel at ease, which is not something I usually associate with dental visits. Dr Liam and Dr Alex took the time to explain every step of the process, ensuring I understood what was happening and why. This level of communication made me feel involved and less anxious. They were gentle and attentive during the exam and procedure, and I appreciated their focus on my comfort throughout the appointment. I did not feel a thing! The dental nurses are also incredible and made me feel at ease. Price was also reasonable and much less than i had anticipated. I can honestly say that this visit has transformed my outlook on dental care, I look forward to returning for my next appointment! ❤️
