Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Avenue Dental Maroochydore for over a year for dental implants and other complex dental work. Based on my personal experience I would highly recommend Dr Johan Weemaes & Avenue Dental Maroochydore to anyone who is after a professional, friendly and helpful staff; great service and effective care focused on patients comfort. Dr Johan’s exceptional professionalism, expertise, practical skills and attention to details are coupled with patient centric approach, clear, concise, and empathetic communication. He provided me with thorough examinations, detailed treatment plan and timely execution, for which I am greatly appreciative.

Fantastic experience: had my 2 bottom wisdom teeth out this afternoon with Dr Brendan and Nurse Tara and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dr Brendan was professional, calm, caring and educational about the whole process. Nurse Tara was warm and made me feel at ease during the appointment, specifically during the numbing.The clinic itself was beautiful and the reception team were so welcoming. Couldn’t recommend Avenue Dental Maroochydore more!!

Fantastic experience: Due to a fear of dentists i hadnt been for about 8 years to see one but i had a vaneer fall off so required a visit to repair. I went to avenue dental who got me in for repair on same day. I was a little nervous but my fears were quickly allayed by Dr Lizamore and her assistant. Charlea. They were so kind and caring and highly professional in the work they carried out. I have had extra work done and booked for more dental repairs at a later date. So thank you to two amazing ladies who looked after me and my fear of dentisits is no more

Positive experience: A 10-minute callback after I posted my issues was incredibly prompt. My main regret is that these concerns weren't addressed earlier in the business's process, which would have made a world of difference. Still, I'm thankful for the invitation to go over everything and for the efforts made to resolve some of what I brought up.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many dentists over the years but Daniel is the best. I travel a 6 hour round trip to visit so this is my endorsement. I can't recommend him and his dental nurse Zara highly enough. 100 % satisfaction. Excellent professional service .

Fantastic experience: I am in awe of both Rita and her assistant Dell. I had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday and the entire process from start to finish was calm, quick and painless. Rita’s skill is undeniably unmatched, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her before for my Invisalign treatment so I have complete trust in her work and naturally she has outdone herself once again. A skill set like hers is rare and something to celebrate. Her assistant Dell was attentive, comforting and created a soothing atmosphere throughout the entire procedure, leaving me relaxed and comfortable during a time where many may feel uneasy and nervous. Dr Harry, done an amazing job explaining the pros and cons of the different options I had braces/invisualine/vaneers and we worked out together that would be the best options. Fantastic experience: honestly never had a better appointment in my life! they where so understanding (i have adhd paralysis a lot and struggle with simple tasks like brushing my teeth) and friendly gave me amazing advice had a good laugh and felt so reassured that they could help me with my teeth first time in 3yrs sinse i’ve been to a dentist always had bad experiences with them in the past but after today i’ll be going back every 6 months and am genuinely excited to do so they even gave me chocolates for doing well at my fillings 10/10 better then anyone else. thanks so much too dr harry and the team

Fantastic experience: Appointment was 5 pm and Dr Harry and Maggie were on time. Excellent reassurance and explanation of today’s procedure given for my crown. No pain following medication given prior to commencing treatment. Follow up appointment made with explanation of what to expect next time. Definitely will recommend this practice for dental care.

A follow up call from his assistant the next day to see how I was after receiving three fillings, was a nice touch.

Fantastic experience: I suffer anxiety and I also do not tolerate dental work very well but the dentist, nurse, and all of the reception workers treated me so kindly and made sure I was all right and the receptionists were so friendly and helpful. The transformation is just amazing and I am so happy …..Thankyou Dr Dan is knowledgeable and gentle…having spent a long time being fitted I am happy to say I didn’t feel a thing and almost fell asleep at one stage Jade is wonderful too ….caring, had my favourite Netflix series ready to watch and mopped up my misplaced rinses. Fantastic experience: Dr Johan & his assistant Kirra were both very professional and friendly. I recently had all on 4 ,top and bottom arches fitted. The surgery was 6.5 hours under IV sedation. Throughout the whole procedure I was treated with repect and care. As this is invasive and delicate surgery it goes without saying that only the most experienced and qualified people to do the job, will be good enough. Yes there is some pain involved after Surgery for about a week but it was managed well with prescription medication supplied by Dr Johan. My temporary teeth were fitted two days after Surgery and I had my final teeth fitted one week later. What a great improvement ,I feel like a new man. To the team at Avenue Dental 10 out of 10 for your non judgemental professionalism. My expectations were exceeded in all areas.

Fantastic experience: We’ve been to see Dr. Daniel for the very first time today and he was amazing with our traumatised child who had a very bad experience with the previous dentist at another clinic. Dr. Daniel and nurse Jade were both very gentle and patient and he was explaining every step so our son felt very comfortable. I can recommend him 100%.

Fantastic experience: Dr Johan Weemaes and his assistant Kirra looked after my dental implants experience amazingly well. I had two dental implants and a crown completed in December 2024. Dr Johan explained the entire process which started in July and outlined the procedures and costs up-front. He patiently answered all my questions and made sure each procedure was pain-free. Since moving to the Sunshine Coast over 5 years ago, I've had to change dental specialists 3 times before I met Dr Johan and the team at Avenue Dental. Even though they are not the cheapest option, I liked that everything can be done in one place (eg. x-rays, scans and hygienist). I also appreciate Dr Johan's expertise with dental implants and Avenue Dental's efficient and friendly service.

Fantastic experience: Had all 4 wisdoms removed surgically by Dr Brendan under IV sedation by Dr Kim. Taylor was my lovely anaesthetic nurse and made me feel a lot more comfortable prior to my procedure as I was very very nervous. I cannot fault anything, the whole process was quick and easy, I was sedated and can’t remember a thing which is great. Dr Brendan even called me a few hours after to check up on me. Cant recommend this team enough and couldn’t have wished for a better experience :)

Awesome Dentist and Eloise the hygienist using airflow descaling - gave me a fantastic pain and anxiety free clean that I’ve ever had! Fantastic experience: Dr Rita and Eloise feel like family. I started a year long journey restoring my oral health and Dr Rita’s care and Eloise support has been immeasurable. Fantastic experience: We,ve been coming to Avenue Dental Maroochydore for over 10 years, driving from Deception Bay. The reason? they are simply the most competent and professional dentists in the area. This visit was no exception. Dr Brendan had to do some emergency work work (booked in at very short notice). He was polite, charming and took pains to explain the process. Another job well done!

Fantastic experience: I have had the most professional experience with peace comfort beautiful manner of Dr Harry and Maggie. Clear, considerate and professional in every way. Nothing too hard, eager to hear and listen to your needs and accomodate in anyway for my experience to be one of pleasant. 11 out of 10 to this practice but especially Dr Harry and Maggie.

Negative experience: Terrible! These dentists are THIEVES!! Was told I needed a crown and even showed me a picture of a decayed tooth, I went and got a second opinion and x- rays as was all clear with no problems. Avenue dental only want to meet KPIs and don’t give a damn about patients!!

Eloise would be the nicest most professional so as her nurse Freya. Most skilled dentist I have ever gone to. Her attention to detail and your needs is first and foremost. Fantastic experience: The staff were extremely well trained to present themselves in an extremely excellent manner. Johan fitted my four on one plate and adjusted the fit. My bite is a perfect fit compared to three years of bad experience bite from previous dentist, who I mentioned about 20 times to fix my bite, caused cracked wisdom & crown and broken teeth. But my dry mouth caused the tooth decay in the first place. I was extremely happy to see my teeth aligned perfectly and the bite is excellent, all in 40 minutes. Johan is a true gentleman and professional dentist who I truly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: A 12 year old crown (not done by Avenue Dental) came off at breakfast yesterday. Phoned AD, they have the best reception staff. Emergency appointment made with my wonderful dentist, Dr Rita for that day. All fixed by evening. Best dental practice I've ever been to. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I just recently had an oral examination and clean by Eloise and her assistant Freya. If I could give Eloise 7 stars she would get them from me. The discussion regarding my inflammed gum issues was very informative and was then followed up by a very experienced clean by a air flow dental spa clean. Prior to the clean Eloise showed me the bacteria in my gums via a purple dye (quite amazing to see how much bacteria there was surrounding my gums.) It was a very personal pleasant experience. Fantastic experience: Brendan is a very caring professional dentist. He takes time to listen to your concerns and explains things clearly. He was so gentle doing my root canal that I fell asleep in the chair! My whole experience with the Avenue Dental Maroochydore team has been wonderful and I am always recommending them to people who may have dental anxiety.

Fantastic experience: I attended the clinic today with a mix of nerves, anxiety, and excitement. However, I left following my surgery with a remarkably positive experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a kind young receptionist (whose name I unfortunately can't recall), who even offered to hold my hand during the surgery. I was then greeted by Kira, who guided me to a room and impressed me with her friendliness, professionalism, and empathy. She thoroughly explained today's procedure, my medications, dental care, and post-surgery diet. In the surgery room, Dr. Johan and his team, along with the humorous anesthetist Dr. Chan, warmly welcomed me. I am deeply grateful for how smoothly everything went today.
