Our Medical Marsden Park: Reviews
Negative experience: Reception staff needs retraining about how to treat sick people.I sat there and watched.Their attitude is like they doing everyone's a favour just being there.
Negative experience: Horrendous medical centre- never enough doctors, waiting times are never accurate, very poor. Would recommend private GP or going to another medical centre.
Negative experience: I’d give them 0 star if there was an optionOne of the worst medical centres in the area. it honestly needs serious management review. We had a terrible experience here on two consecutive days trying to get our newborn vaccinated. On the first day, we waited over three hours only to be told to come back the next day. Then on Sunday, after another three-hour wait, we were told to rejoin the queue because the doctor we had been allocated had already finished for the day.To make matters worse, the receptionist on Sunday evening was extremely rude, showing no empathy or professionalism, especially given we had a newborn with us. This kind of disorganisation and lack of basic courtesy is completely unacceptable for a medical facility. Avoid this place if you value your time and health, go to any other clinic in the area instead.
Negative experience: The booking system is so horrible that the app wont tell you if the doctors have reached their capacity for the day until you are at the medical centre. And once you are there, it is frustrating to learn that no more booking are being taken. To add to this, their reception service is super useless. It has been a waste of my time 4 times in a row where I reached the centre before 8pm, once even at 6.45pm, only to find out that no new appointments are being taken. We can't even call their reception after 5pm to find out if bookings are open, as they don't take calls. We are switching.
Negative experience: Been here for the past 6 years and on average the wait time is 1.5hr wait, first available or not. However, today 3hrs and still waiting and I was 9 in the queue. There’s a tonne of drs here and this is ridiculous!!!
Negative experience: Seevice is good but just wondering there are no baby change rooms , but there is a room near physiotherapy with a board tolets and baby change room but wjen we go inside therr is no stand to change nappy and asked the receptionist , she told me that we dont have any. Such a massive clinic with top class infrastructure but fsiled to prpvide. A baby chsnge room so sad.
Negative experience: Telling an elderly lady to "Use the app" is as helpful as surviving terminal cancer. Please send your elderly here if you want them to sit there for 3-4 hours with no assistance unless its for helping them pass on.
Negative experience: These people are a fraud! They charge and have to book you in to rectify the mistakes that the doctor made on my certificate (not the first time either) rather than the doctor having decency and integrity to rectify quickly at no charge between patients. Ive taken a video of sitting in the waiting room whilst i call them and they deliberately don't answer their phones and there is NO excuse, no patients inline, noone at the desk nothing. They also have their lines cut off at around 5pm so you don't know if they've stopped taking in patients for the evening / night until you drive there and find out the hard way. You get told that they can only address one problem at a time during the consultation. These guys are milking the system. Absolute scam!
Negative experience: This experience was absolutely appalling. My 1yr old niece had to get a swab, they didn't have a baby change table in ANY of the toilets, we were also denied a bed from the treatment nurse( this person's attitude was terrible she was rude and had short answers which made us feel like she was brushing the situation off) What were we suppose to do?? Swab the poor baby on the bathroom floor? We had to swab her in the car!
Negative experience: It's really frustrating to wait for long hours. I have been waiting here with my parents aged around 80 and no hope for next one hour. Surprised where the management is ???
Negative experience: Worst medical facility in the world . Gp Dr. Said we dont deal with pregnant Women. Check degree before see the Dr. Worst worst worst
Negative experience: Most days you won’t be seeing a doctor in under 4 hours, a few are great but the receptionist is rude and useless.
Negative experience: This clinic does not answer their phones and their emails do not work. Incredibly frustrating for patients who are trying to get a hold of their medical information to provide to their specialists. Would not recommend unless they fix their communication issues.
Negative experience: Really disappointed with the service at reception. I had been waiting over two hours to see a specific doctor I selected when booking, only to be told that patients who choose “first available” are seen before those who request a specific doctor. That completely defeats the purpose of choosing your preferred doctor, why offer the option if it doesn’t mean anything? When I approached the front desk to ask about my place in the queue, the two receptionists didn’t even acknowledge me. They continued chatting amongst themselves and didn’t look at me or say a word until I had to interrupt and ask. It honestly felt like they were just waiting for me to walk away. The lack of basic courtesy and communication was incredibly frustrating. I completely understand how flat out the doctors are this isn’t on them. But something really needs to be done about the booking system and the reception staff. Patients deserve clearer communication and basic respect when they walk through the door.
Negative experience: The doctors are absolutely wonderful! The receptionists however are absolutely appalling. The fact that majority of these reviews are saying the exact same thing should probably be a sign for our medical to start looking at who needs to be retrained especially with their mannerisms. Edit: 2 years later and nothing has changed. May as well take off the contact number since the phone at reception is clearly only for display purposes at this point.
Negative experience: Everytime I have to come for an appointment, certain people think they don't have to wait like everyone else. They ask to push in to see a doctor when the door swings open. And they get a paper printed for them. Seems like certain people don't have to have a proper appointment with a dr. And they get what they want without waiting, which is really unfair, and extremely rude.
Negative experience: doesn’t answer the phone. on three different occasions all in the last week i have reached just under an hour on hold and hang up due to no one answering
Negative experience: The absolute worst doctors I have ever been to, I had asked to get things tested in my Blood and the doctor didn’t want to test for them. Eventually he ended up writing me a referral then once I got the blood test done they didn’t test for half of the things and won’t do anything about it. Dr Rafik Soliman is the worst doctor I have ever come across not willing to help what so ever
Negative experience: Worst customer service. Specially the Saturday night counter receptionist is very rude attitude, not deserved the customer service job. She needs counselling or retirement. Disgraceful Not recommended at all. Should have zero star.
Negative experience: There is only one female doctor that the wait is hours for her . There has been an increase in waiting time to see any doc at Our Marsden over the years . Time to have another medical Centre here to adhere to the growing population here at Marsden. Hope the government looks into this matter .
Negative experience: I waited 4 hours just to see a doctor who knew nothing about what was going on with me . No cere factor, no knowledge, what is going on with doctors these days . It’s not okay to not have any knowledge when you’re meant to be a doctor.
Negative experience: One of the best doctors at OMCMP is Dr Laila Kodsi. Takes her time to listen to her patients and give consultation with all due concern. Whereas, I would never recommend Dr Kwan Lee to anyone. Most greedy doctor with zero consultation skills.
Fantastic experience: My Doctor, DR Nahid Sinha was absolutely lovely, and greeted me like I was a regular patient. She helped me out in a short amount of time, and I was able to get my results the next day, with her explaining what it meant. She was fabulous and the entire experience was so easy
Negative experience: Been sitting on hold for over an hour, easier to go in then it is to get ahold of anyone here
Positive experience: Waited for 2 hrs 30 mins as they only had two doctors on shift. The rostering of doctors on shift need to be better. You have over 23+ rooms!!!!….Dr Rafik Soliman is my local doctor he always makes every appointment experience better.
Negative experience: The doctor showed clear favoritism by opening the queue only to people she seemed to know, while the rest of us sat waiting and repeatedly reloading the app with no updates. Absolutely unacceptable. Definitely not recommended.
Negative experience: I really don’t prefer this medical center. We’re asked to check in through the app, but the doctors give priority to patients they personally know, even if others have been waiting in the queue. Every time I’ve visited, I’ve had to wait for over an hour, while other patients who seem to know the doctor personally arrive just 10 minutes before and go in immediately. What’s even more frustrating is that even when the doctor isn’t shown as available in the app, you can just go to the receptionist and get added to the queue manually. This completely undermines the purpose of the app. People who follow the proper process end up being seen last. Today was my last visit to this medical centre.
Negative experience: I’ve never left a review before, but this experience was so disappointing I had to speak up. I waited over an hour and a half with my son to see a specific doctor who, shockingly, saw only one patient during that entire time. Meanwhile, we watched other doctors calling in patients regularly, yet we were just left sitting there with no communication and no indication of where we were in the queue. To make things worse, the doctor we were waiting for even took a long tea break while we were still waiting. Completely unprofessional. After such a long, frustrating wait we had no choice but to leave. I will never return, and I won’t be recommending this clinic to anyone.
Fantastic experience: Doctor Lovely takes the time to understand what’s wrong and provides great information.
Negative experience: Don't trust the five star reviews. Place is hopeless, you'll wait a minimum of two hours. If you want to see a specific doctor, half of the time the roster on the app is ridiculously inaccurate. This will be the last time I attend this hole. The second I walked in there was already a poor lady complaining that she had been waiting for two hours. Pathetic practice.
Negative experience: Pros: - Bulk bill - Clean and modern facilities - Check in through app - Proximity to local residents Cons: - No appointments - Doctors are apathetic and EXTREMELY transactional. You could be saying that you are suicidal and they will give you a form to fill up and hurry you out the door for the next patient. - Its not a healthcare facility but a purely healthcare business of volume.
Fantastic experience: I’ve had a great experience at Our Medical Marsden Park. The convenience of walk-in appointments and extended hours makes healthcare much more accessible, especially for busy families. The doctors I’ve seen—especially Dr. Don—have been kind, thorough, and genuinely caring. Even when the clinic was busy, I felt like my concerns were heard and addressed with patience. I also appreciate that the facility is modern, clean, and well-equipped. Having allied health services and pathology on-site is a real bonus. The check-in process through the app was smooth in my case, and I liked being able to track my queue position. Overall, I’m grateful to have this medical center in our area and would recommend it to others looking for reliable bulk-billed GP care.
Fantastic experience: The prompt and patient-oriented care delivery was timely. Dr. Emmanuel was thorough and professional in handling my case. I was completely satisfied.
Negative experience: Worst medical centre. I got an iron infusion here and was not feeling well, I passed out and the nurse did not want to help me. I was told “it’s not sleeping time”. I asked for Panadol as I was IN PAIN I was told I had to wait for the doctor, she never called the doctor and I never received Panadol. I was told I was fine when I expressed again and again that I was in pain. Please don’t ever go here, I will never step foot in there again.
Positive experience: Though the experience was mixed. I waited for 3:30 hours there and there were only two doctors on site. They should have got more drs at night and app also doesn’t tell which are you but the receptionist was so patient.
Negative experience: A lot of the receptionist ruins the experience here. Also the app no longer tells you how many people are in front of you so now you have no choice but to talk to these apathetic receptionist.
Negative experience: It's great u can check in App for walk-in but it doesn't tell you how many people are already waiting. Have waited more than 70 minutes and later came to know iam still in 6th in Q from reception. The App should warn me during check in if it's already long waiting. I selected any doctor still above result. I don't recommend this medical centre rather find some other practices.
Fantastic experience: There are all the necessary people we need on the one site and the hours the clinic is open is extremely helpful.
Fantastic experience: Our well deserving best wishes go to Dr. Deepani Peiris and Pooja who works at the pathology dept. This also includes the rest of the staff at the same dept. Thank you all indeed! May your altruistic care and services be a blessing in every moment in life! Best regards, David (Dileepa) Wicks. - 08/6/2025
Negative experience: On Thurs, my husband had telehealth appointment because he got tested positive with covid. The GP, Dr Narendra Tennakoon, sent the medical certificate through email but it is PIN/password protected, and so my husband's employer can't access it. We've been calling this practice for an hour, or so, since Thursday but nobody answers. They don't respond to email either or the enquiries from their website. Would they prefer my husband to drop by the clinic to get the PIN for his medical certificate? Would that defeat the purpose of the telehealth? Why are they open on weekend without reception answering phone calls? The NSW Health Care Complaints Commission needs to look into this. It's disappointing and frustrating, adding to the sufferings of patients.
Fantastic experience: Doctor Ajesh Shrestha is my Doctor he is compassionate, caring, efficient, a good listener and knowledgeable. If it's a long wait and you can't stay he always calls you on your phone when you're next in for consultation I recommend him to my family, friends and colleagues. I like the medical centre also because everything is under one roof and there is plenty of parking. Telehealth is very convenient if you can't get there physically you can wait from the comfort of your home I don't have a good experience with Receptionists they should be more friendly and courteous towards patients I never see them smile
Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee is by far the most courteous and well-informed general practitioner I’ve ever met. His extensive medical knowledge likely contributes to his popularity. While appointments with him often require a longer wait, his care is well worth it. I truly hope he remains at this medical center for many years to come.
Negative experience: Worst waiting times I've ever experienced, I've now been there three times this week with waiting times adding up from the three visits of 5-7 hours. I haven't even seen a doctor yet, I have to leave because my toddler is hysterical at waiting there that long. How can you keep taking on more and more patients and have waiting times of 2-3 hours. This is unacceptable - my toddler needs flu shot and she's under two so I can't just go into a pharmacy. Good job it's not something else otherwise I'm pretty sure you'd die faster than you can see a doctor here. Absolutely furious and other mums are the same. Didn't even have nappy change for a while, not sure if it ever got out back in. I've been a patient here for three years but I am going somewhere else. Do better.
Negative experience: Surely give credits to GPs and location however extremely poor management.. it is about time you people introduce the appointment system so that we parents with kids do not have to wait hours and hours. Besides answer the phone god’s sake when ring within short possible time. Had experience waiting long time to be able to talk to reception over the phone. Even the radiology could not get to clarify their query about the GP referral as no one answered the bloody phone…..very frustrating indeed.
Fantastic experience: Maria at reception was super helpful. At helping me find a doctor in a critical time of my life. She landed me in the hands of Dr Navdeep which was super attentive and genuinely helpful. Super thankfull for you service
Negative experience: If you’re planning to visit the Marzdan Park Medical Centre, be aware that Maryam at the front desk sets up unnecessary rules that may prevent you from seeing a doctor. She insists that no one else is available to help and that appointments must be booked online — even if you’re already at the clinic and need urgent care. Unfortunately, she comes across as rude and lacks basic common sense or professionalism. Very disappointing experience.
Negative experience: While typing this review, I have been waiting if someone takes my phone at medical centre and its been 25 minutes and no one answered the phone
Negative experience: I wouldn't even give a single star. I was there last night twice. Their booking app sucks and is not compatible with a lot of devices. I had my son check in first and weren't there again at 5:30 to get his medical certificate. The lazy nurse sitting at the front desk was helpless. She booked my son in and then when I went to her to ask about his turn after waiting for nearly 1.5 hours, she mentioned 3 patients before he will be attended and then when I went back again after half an hour. She mentioned my son was not on the list. Might be we didn't sign him up. Like we asked you to do that and then further after 10 mins of talking She said doctor might have called him and you were not here. Like dude I didn't leave the centre for 5 seconds. They are just pathetic. Need to change their staff so that people are better addressed
Negative experience: No one answers the phone during ANYTIME. I have the same problem every time. This centre makes so much money from the amount of people going there, so hire an additional receptionist for answering phone calls because the current one obviously does not have time to answer any calls! Learn from other medical centres with high volume customers who have a few receptionists instead of just one! Hope someone from this centre reads these reviews.. Invest some of the money hiring more receptionists !! Also maybe reserve some spots for people to make appointments because wait times are too long since you guys do not accept making appointments.. Wait times are also extremely long.. usually a few hours!
Negative experience: Please don't go to this facility if you are with baby, we have to wait for more than 4 hours to see the doctor, my child get annoyed and it was very hard for us. Please consider another centre as this is the worst place.
Negative experience: Their service is getting even poor. The waiting times are horrible . They never attended phone calls for years and you had to depend on the app, but now their app is getting beyond pathetic leaving the patients clueless on the status of the appointment making it a horrible clinic.
Negative experience: ZERO RATING Pathetic medical centre. Been waiting for 3.5 hours already, still waiting from 8.30am. Doctors are always turning up late and they close the appointment times to go home earlier. Receptionist with the glasses and short hair is rude, loud and doesn't have any customer service skills and cant explain basic stuff to the patients. This place should be given a 0 rating, extremely bad service now. You have to book yourself on the app through your phone and the doctors next available/if you are next is hardly ever updated. This place needs a change big time. However hats off to Dr Lee who is always welcoming and caring for you. Dr Shukla walks around as if he's walking inside his home and takes extra long time to see patients.
Positive experience: Was told this is an urgent care clinic by Health direct but upon arriving they said this is not the case. Receptionist gave a blank look and wasn't very helpful. She asked another lady behind reception who was kind and said as my baby had a very high temp to send us to the theatre room for a check by the nurse. We had to register and sign in before being seen by the nurse. Nurse was ok however was using a forehead thermometer to take my babies temp. We have always been told these are not very accurate. She also told my husband to wait outside which was a bit frustrating as I was carrying my baby, her bag, and my bag and was in a state of worry. Dr saw us and was pretty helpful but also took temp using a forehead temp? It was useful to have the pharmacy located in the same building.
Fantastic experience: Dr Mir Moajjema is incredible. She really listened and assisted me at my most vulnerable. Absolutely would recommend.
Negative experience: No option for negative review. You come here ans wait for 2.5 hrs to see doctor. Rection does not give you any time when doctors will see you. They have app based checkin but for thag also you need to be in center. All you get waiting is frustration
Negative experience: Went there last after a recommendation! Left home 9 got there at9:30 walked in asked if I could get a script for some antibiotics! And I got sorry we are at capacity for tonight! ! All I needed was a quick script ! Not recommended!
Negative experience: Unless you just want a script, utter waste of time. Most services like x-ray unavailable outside of regular hours, so you end up having to go to emergency anyway. It isn’t urgent care, it’s a glorified doctors room, seriously disappointed.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Asela Don has been our trusted physician for many years. He is consistently considerate and attentive and takes the time to explain our health conditions clearly. His caring and thoughtful approach makes us feel well-supported and confident in our care.
Negative experience: Think twice before going to this medical centre. You don't know when you will get to meet the doctors as there are no scheduled appointments and you will need to wait in huge queue for your doctor. Receptionists don't receive patients phone calls. Doctors are also very slow here. Only appointment system can make this medical centre better.
Negative experience: Worst place ever. You have to wait to get normal GP check done for 3-4 hours. No proper process, doctors are very slow and take their own time in between patients. Hospitals are supposed to be quick to help patients not for wasting their half day just to get GP check up. Not recommended at all.
Negative experience: The receptionist was rude, unhelpful and sent us away even after we told her we were specifically directed to this clinic for urgent care by a Health Direct registered nurse. We were told there was only one doctor on, however they would not let us see them. Absolutely disgusting experience.
Negative experience: The fact that there is no way to schedule appointment with the doctor and have to wait for long duration for my turn.
Negative experience: Reception staff attitude always rude and not interested. Only one person on reception counter and big cue of people.
Fantastic experience: I had a preferred doctor but wasn't showing up as available in GP roster when i needed to visit urgently and had to resort to first available doctor. Upon realizing clinic to be busy, and with my condition, i considered returning the next day. I chanced upon my preferred doctor and when he saw me and he readily without hesitation and asked what was wrong and he pointed me to his office. He was already done for the day as i noticed he was about to leave and he had to unlock the door to his office. He saw me and gave me precscription, and i am much better today dealing with an acute gout attack. Thank you Dr Varadaraj Kadambi!
Negative experience: I checked in, when male doc was available , but the system made me to wait and when I checked with the un friendly receptionist, she said there are no male doctors, the system should notify me of that or it should cancel my appointment. Our medical better handle that otherwise you are wasting patient’s time. This happened in marsden park on 9/5
Fantastic experience: Dr Myo Aung is very professional, listens carefully to issues, and takes necessary actions for the patient.
Negative experience: The Worst in the WEST!! Don’t even bother booking GP on the app. It’ll always skip you after waiting 3hrs. Even when you ask reception, they’ll just brush you off answers
Negative experience: Very unsatisfied, waited for an hour for 4 months vaccination for my baby. At the end, the nurse told that vaccine is out of stock, bullshit. Waisted our time and energy.
Negative experience: I don't want to give even 1 star worst medical centre ever They don't have any management system neither they have any doctors. My suggestion please do not go there as they don't have any system in place. Wait time is 3 to 5 hrs for 10 minutes consultations.
Negative experience: Honestly, why have a telephone system?? People should not be waiting on the phone for 120 minutes ridiculous!!!! Are you saying you can't afford to get more receptionists with 150 Doctors on site. Do Better!!!
Negative experience: If I could give Zero rating I would. This lady from a Subcontinental culture refuse to help me today. I went to visit the medical centre because of a severe pain in half my face. I'm unable to eat, work or sleep. My phone unfortunately died so I can't check in through the app (which I normally do), so I went to the reception/front desk to check in. I've told this lady that I need help checking in to see the next available doctor because my phone died. I have with me my ID and Medicare card. She responded with a rather big sigh of inconvenience. Mind you, I was the ONLY ONE lining up. She rejected helping me in front of everyone and told me that I can only see a doctor if I check in through the app! Where in this ridiculous world is this acceptable?? THE WORSE UNHELPFUL MEDICAL CENTRE FRONT DESK I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. Now my entire family is going somewhere else!.... TOTAL USELESS!
Negative experience: The log in system is a complete failure. It doesn't matter how early I get in, I am always jumped by 6 or 8 people. May be pick a number like the pathology will work better.
Negative experience: You will experience worst wait time with minimum of 4hrs and The customer support was unprofessional. They don't have enough doctors but queue with 70 patients.
Negative experience: Even 1 star is too much for this place. I always wait minimum of 2 hrs. Last time waited for 3 hrs.
Positive experience: My experience with the GP has been fine. Dr has been thorough. This place gets so busy. I don’t mind the check in service with the app. Wait time hasn’t been so bad. The frustrating part is that no one answers the phone. Several times I’ve attempted to call and waited on hold for over 30 mins - resulting in me driving to the centre to ask a simple question. Also the pathology room is so small with no bed. I waited over 30 mins in line feeling unwell, to be told - if you are at risk of fainting - we have no time for it, we have a full waiting area so you will need to find another pathology with a bed - gave me suggestion of where to try.
Fantastic experience: Dr Don is a Amazing G.P he listens 2 his patients & treat U like Family once you see his honest and medical opinions on things and he knows how 2 treat U he's Awesome I truly recommend
Negative experience: Nahid Sinha you shouldn't be doctor at all. Why did you assumed my daughter had a very bad eczema.Even my daughter said "mummy she didn't even checked me properly" she had Staph infection you wouldn't know because you didn't even checked you didnt ask us question. You can take all this posin you prescribed for her and take it your self.
Fantastic experience: Just like to give my thanks to Dr Haque and all the nurses in the treatment room. I had surgery that required redressing every day for three weeks. The level of care and professionalism I received has been first class, and I am sure this resulted in a faster healing time.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely! I really liked how responsive and helpful your team was. It made everything so smooth.
Fantastic experience: Awesome experience, The doctors and the convenience of booking and knowing when you're going to be seen by using the app is so great
Negative experience: The doctors and services are good. 4cyte, Treatment nurses and X-ray receptionists and services are good. BUT the receptionists at the front desk are rude, slow and arrogant. They always have an attitude like they hate life. Don't get me started on the 2hr wait to see a doctor.
Positive experience: Jade was the nicest medical reception staff I’ve dealt with at this place. Really saved the experience of having to wait a while. Thank you Jade for your kindness and empathy in such a stressful situation.
Negative experience: The Reception(Jade) is extremely rude and does not care for the NSW Health guidelines from the hospital too. Some emergency situations too no responses. They are open till 10 and not taking patients wanting to Attend at 8pm. Not sure how they operate but not acceptable for infants suffering.
Fantastic experience: The whole service is fantastic, from the somewhat minimal Wait time, long list of doctors, pharmacy open next door we were seen within an hour. Highly recommend
Fantastic experience: Easy and fast service, after hour/first available Doctor provides great service when your doctor is unavailable, had a awesome experience and they do a great job finding solutions for my want and needs, Cheer
Negative experience: I get the concept of their queue based wait system however I'm not sure why they don't have any nurses doing triage prior to doctors to speed things up and prioritize. Because we are waiting to see a doctor, the wait times can be absolutely insane for a matter that can be looked at by a nurse. On top of that, the doctors here are a hit and a miss, some are good and compassionate but others just seem to not care. The only positive I see here is that their queue based mobile app system is somewhat efficient and does let you know where you are in the queue. So you atleast know what you're in for.
Negative experience: It is high time to consider having an appointment booking system at this place. Given the volume of patients, the wait times can reach up to 3-4 hours most days. I can understand walk-ins are important and randomise doctor allocation helps but perhaps there can be slots dedicated for advanced booking to save time for those who are coming in for follow-ups after initial consultation with a doctor. Sheer waste of time for waiting in the doc queue.
Fantastic experience: Because we were happy to see any doctor, we only waited a very short time. The doctor who saw us was excellent.
Negative experience: Done a Telehealth consult today, waited two hours for a call back which was fine, when the doctor rang at 128pm she was rude and rushed to get me off the phone, call lasted 1 minute and 28 seconds and she said she would send my script to my email address. 10pm and still have not received my script. Wont be back to these muppets♂️
Negative experience: EDIT 25/3/25: I filed a formal complaint with this medical centre and made a promise to remove the very detailed previous review I made yesterday once they respond to me, so I have done that. Although, for the interest of honesty, I will summarise what I have said in my earlier review. Overall, I don't have a lot of confidence on this medical centre to keep their at-risk patients safe. Long story short, the receptionist my family spoke to during last night's visit is either unequipped to deal with young individuals who are going through changes in legal custody (the medical centre should provide training for their receptionists on how to appropriately respond to and deal with patients who come from vulnerable environments) OR they are completely unemphathetic. The receptionist in question also refused to state their name when asked, perhaps to try and not get a complaint against their customer service. We still found out your name though and I have made a formal complaint about your service to the medical centre. I hope that your superiors are dealing with your actions accordingly, especially if you did in fact put the young patient you directly had to deal with in potential danger. ----- The only star I was able to give about this medical centre are the doctors and the medical facilities they offer. The place is nice and it looks clean, there's plenty of parking. Other than that, the waiting times when trying to contact the medical centre over the phone is... abysmal. The longest so far I've had to wait is 40min. Like for times, in instance, where I'd like to know if my usual GP is in at a certain time without having to drive to the medical centre just to find out (look, the traffic on Richmond Road is really bad most days and I simply don't have 30-40 minutes to wait in traffic just to find out a simple piece of information). Calling up the medical centre seems like an easy fix for that, but no. Ridiculous, really. Another fail moment was when my sister inquired about a flu vaccination for her 3 y/o daughter. She was confidently told by whoever was on reception that the medical centre does not offer flu vaccinations for those 3 y/o and under. This was untrue as confirmed by a GP in the medical centre, and it was disheartening to see someone in the front of staff pass on such misinformation Again, 1 star for the doctors. But the customer service or whatever you call it, no stars for that at all.
Jill, we are taking onboard your feedback and have recently introduced a new process when you phone the centre including the option to be fast-tracked to speak to someone about doctor rosters. Your feedback in relation to the flu vaccine has been raised directly with the practice manager.
Negative experience: I was unable to download the app on my phone, lined up for 20 mins to be told I couldn’t book an appointment without the app. Why does everything need an app? And for something as simple as booking in a returning patient. I will no longer use this medical facility. I’d rather drive an hour to a different GP then deal with the rude staff and some stupid app here.
Negative experience: Min 1.5 hour for waiting…during this time… some 40 odd people in waiting room only have 2 toilets to use as the 3rd toilet is broken….there’s no priority queue either for elderly or kids….
Negative experience: The attitude of the receptionist is so bad and unwelcoming. We were there on Sunday 22/03/2025 at 6 pm and when we went to the reception to ask a doubt, the attitude of the receptionist was so bad and we are so disappointed.
Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at Our Medical Marsden Park. The entire team is highly professional, and the receptionists are super friendly and welcoming. The lady in radiology went out of her way to speak with their professionals and fit me in urgently, which I truly appreciated. The nurse who took my blood test was incredibly kind and caring, making the process smooth and comfortable. The reception staff were also lovely and very helpful. I highly recommend this practice for their exceptional service, professionalism, and genuine care for their patients.
Negative experience: This medical centre is so hopeless that even if it is your last option please don't go here. You will be be utmost disappointed and regret why did you even think of going to this place.
Negative experience: Very bad waiting times and queue system. You can never guarantee your spot to see the doctor in any point in time. Queue jumps up and down and is very unpredictable.
Negative experience: Today i went here with my daughter and happened to book first available doctor as my family doctors werent present today. Dr Myo Aung was the doctor and she was so rude to my daughter and throw the stick on the table inpatiently because my daughter wasnt happy to show her throught to her. This was the second time i seeing her and last time also we didnt have a positive feedback on her as she was rude last time too.
Negative experience: Been on the phone 1 hour. No answer. As you can see from the Google reviews this is nothing unusual for our medical. No care in a medical centre, interesting.
Negative experience: I have had a bad experience every single time I go here. They have no idea who they are referring you to and just google random ones/give you the first one they find. I’ve had two different referrals and both have said they don’t even do what is required. One Dr done a major breach of confidentiality by providing me with a detailed outline of another patients personal and medical records.
Fantastic experience: Dr Varadharaj Kadambi is our guardian angel. He is going extra mile to care for the patients
