Negative experience: ABSOLUTE SCAM OF A CLINIC. STAY AWAY. I visited this dental clinic recently due to severe tooth pain and requested an urgent appointment. I explained clearly that I needed a filling, as I was familiar with the issue. However, once I was seen, the dentist immediately began pushing for a root canal or tooth extraction—despite me repeatedly stating that I just needed a filling. I had to insist multiple times before they finally agreed to proceed with the simpler, appropriate treatment. What was even more concerning was the repeated request for my health insurance card while I was in the chair—on three separate occasions. This struck me as odd, since in my experience, clinics usually handle billing at the end of the appointment. After the visit, I found out that my insurance had been charged over $700 for what was just a standard filling. Looking back, it now makes sense why there was such a strong push for a more expensive procedure that I clearly didn’t need. It's disappointing to feel like the priority was profit over patient care. This experience felt very unprofessional and left me questioning the integrity of the practice. I would advise others to be cautious and seek a second opinion if you’re being pressured into costly treatments.

Negative experience: I visited this place a year ago because it had the highest reviews. My molar had a cavity, and the dentist recommended extracting the tooth. I suggested filling it instead to save the tooth. One of the doctors (a young male) insisted on extraction and refused to fill. I was charged $70 for the X-ray. The next day, I visited another dentist in Wollert, who filled the tooth. It's been in perfect condition for the past year.

Positive experience: I was a regular patient at Dental One Victoria Gardens but recently visited Dental One Epping North after moving houses. I was impressed by how quickly my dental cleaning was completed, though it felt noticeably faster than my previous experiences. However, I was surprised that I didn’t receive a fluoride treatment at the end, as I always did at Victoria Gardens. I’m wondering if this location provides it as part of their standard dental cleaning . Overall, the visit was efficient, and the reception staff was well knowledgeable and polite to provide some information regarding dental procedures that they were offering.

Positive experience: I've been coming here for years but super unhappy with the clean and check-up appointment my mum had today. They did an x-ray then took out her tooth before even starting the clean which was neglected. It's NOT good practice to lead with an extraction first. During the rinse, I had to be the one to make sure she didn't spit, since this isn't allowed after an extraction. I just feel so disappointed after specifically asking the team to be gentle with my mum who is highly anxious. We've been under huge stress and I really thought she would be in good hands.
